#newyearnewtrip We had the best stay at Hotel Okura Jr Huis ten bosch and we would highly recommend it if you are planning a trip to sesabo. This hotel is conveniently located just a 5 minutes walk to the famous theme park huis ten bosch and it is near to restaurants and cafes just outside the hotel. You will love the inside and out of the hotel as it is classy and luxurious and it's design looks like you're in Europe or Amsterdam. An onsen is also situated at the hotel's basement for guest use. We stayed in their twin premium room and I was more than pleased. The room was new and clean, with a modern feel. Beds were super comfortable and amenities were of a good brand. Spacious and big, that is another plus point and toilets were sparkling clean. Love our stay here!

Just head directly to Jidaiya restaurant, which serves French Japanese fusion food and their lemon steak is their award winning specialty. You will love the savoury, slightly sweet and sour combination of taste for the lemon steak but the flavours complement each other so well. The steak are thin beef slices that will melt in your mouth. Just superb! The next recommendation is to try their hamburg steak set. It was really delicious and their beef patty was juicy and not tough. The sauce was great too. Come here for lunch and you will get a set at a cheaper price that comes complete with free soup, salad and a drink. Try the legendary lemon steak today!

According to locals, fukusaya has the best castella cake and it is the oldest castella bakery. You can buy it as a small piece of cake or a full block. The former cost 324yen, while the latter cost 2268yen for a full block of cake. I tried their small slice of castella and I immediately fell in love with it. It has a soft fluffy texture, with it being very fragant and delicious. It is best paired with coffee or tea and it is not overly sweet. Fukusaya's castella is awesome. Try it to believe it.

#newyearnewtrip Iwasaki honpo is a famous snack shop in nagasaki japan and it is very popular with the locals over there. What is being sold here is their highly raved about braised pork belly buns. Their buns are soft white buns, which feels more like a pau, but what impressed me was their braised pork belly which was so so good and soft that it literally melts in the mouth. Eat the bun together with the braised pork and it's a matchmake in heaven. Pure delicious! One pork belly bun at Iwasaki Honpo is at 500 yen which was worth it as it's really yummy. The shop has a nice seating area to enjoy your snack. Other merchandises are also sold here. If you would like to buy more of their pork belly buns, you can even buy them in bulk I'm boxes. Try their braised pork belly bun, it's the best!
