Nicknamed "Rongcheng" (Banyan City), Fuzhou is a national historical and cultural city with famous attractions like Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Gushan Mountain, and West Lake. As a key starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, the city is also home to Mawei Port in the east, which handles over 150 million tons of cargo annually, serving as a strategic hub for the "Maritime Fuzhou" initiative and showcasing the development of China's shipbuilding industry. Fuzhou combines subtropical coastal charm with Min-Yue cultural characteristics. Transportation 🚗: Fuzhou now has six metro lines, with other travel options including Didi rides or buses. Most destinations are within a 30-minute travel radius. The city has two high-speed rail stations: Fuzhou Station and Fuzhou South Station. Fuzhou Station is closer to the city center, so be sure to double-check your departure point before heading out.

Fuzhou Yantaishan Cultural and Creative District is a place I visit every time I go to Fuzhou. This time I randomly wandered into a bookstore - Model Bookstore. Actually, it’s not entirely true to call it a bookstore. It’s more of a collection store. The store has two floors. There are not many books. It is mainly divided into several areas, including the coffee area, cultural and creative area, and stamp area. The second floor is relatively spacious, with some exhibits placed on it. It has a strong artistic atmosphere and there are also seats. The overall style is retro and old-fashioned, giving it the feel of an old movie.
