Fueling Up with Superfood Kitchen’s Tasty Bowls
#favouriteitinerary We’ve been loving Superfood Kitchen at Raffles City for its focus on making healthy eating convenient and delicious. It’s the perfect place when we’re looking for a wholesome meal that’s both nutritious and filling.
We tried the Le Cajun bowl, which came with roasted Cajun chicken, spiced couscous, roasted rosemary potatoes, and a bunch of other tasty toppings like avocado guacamole and tomato salsa. The flavors came together really well, and we left feeling satisfied and energized. Another bowl we enjoyed was the Papa Java, with honey soy chicken, Asian spiced brown rice, and roasted peanuts. It was a nice balance of savory and slightly sweet, and it really hit the spot.
They also have great options for vegetarians, like the Papa Java Vegetarian bowl, which comes with teriyaki tempeh and a mix of crunchy veggies. We love that they cater to different dietary needs while keeping the meals flavorful.
One thing that really stood out to us was the e-ordering system. It’s so cool that you can instantly see the nutritional content of your meal and customize it to fit your preferences. It made it easy to choose exactly what we wanted.
Superfood Kitchen was started by the founders of The Green Bar, and their experience in the F&B industry really shows in the quality of the food. We love how they’ve brought healthy food to a more accessible level with their tasty, nutrient-packed meals.

A Taste of Sichuan: Our Visit to MAO Master at Bugis Junction
#favouriteitinerary We had the chance to try MAO Master at Bugis Junction, and we were really impressed by what they had to offer. One dish that stood out was the Paper-Wrapped Grilled Fish. It came wrapped in paper and grilled to perfection, and when the staff unwrapped it at our table, the aroma filled the air, making it hard to wait before digging in. The fish was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning.
We also tried their Maocai, a customizable Sichuan-style hotpot. There were over 70 ingredients to choose from, so we had the fun of picking exactly what we wanted in our bowl. The broth had that perfect balance of spicy and numbing heat that you’d expect from authentic Sichuan cuisine. It was a really satisfying and flavorful experience.

A Sweet Surprise: Purple Taro Mochi Bucket at Shang Pin Hotpot
#favouriteitinerary We had to try the Purple Taro Mochi Bucket at Shang Pin Hotpot when we heard about it. Served in a cute little purple bucket, this dessert is a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. The combination of smooth, naturally sweet purple taro with chewy mochi creates a delightful texture contrast. We loved how the soft taro was perfectly balanced with the stretchy mochi, making every bite satisfying.
The dessert also comes with a base of refreshing bingsu, topped with chunks of taro balls, making it feel light yet indulgent. It’s one of those unique offerings that’s only available at their Marina Square outlet, so we were excited to give it a try.
Shang Pin Hotpot also has other interesting desserts, like their Milk Tea Pot and Korean-inspired bingsu, which we’ll definitely be back to try. But for now, the Purple Taro Mochi Bucket left us pretty impressed, and we’d highly recommend it for anyone craving something sweet and different.

The spacious 60-seat area has a minimalist grey interior that feels modern yet cozy, with touches that remind us of an authentic Japanese tea house. For something fruitier, the Amaou strawberry gelato is a refreshing option. It’s smooth, light, and highlights the natural sweetness of Amaou strawberries, which are known for their intense flavor.

The Ancient City of Troy: Where Myth Meets History
#favouriteitinerary
Troy, the legendary city immortalized by Homer in the Iliad, stands in the northwest of modern-day Turkey, near the Dardanelles. For centuries, it was believed to be a place of myth, but archaeological discoveries have revealed layers of a real, ancient city with a complex and fascinating history.
As you walk through the ruins of Troy, you can see the remnants of ancient walls that once protected the city, some dating back over 4,000 years. The site reveals multiple layers of settlement, each telling a different chapter of Troy’s story—from the Bronze Age to Roman times.
One of the most striking features is the massive defensive walls, thought to be part of the fortress that once stood at the heart of the city. Near these walls is the famous reconstruction of the Wooden Horse, symbolizing the legendary trick used by the Greeks to enter and conquer the city.
Visitors can explore the ruins of ancient homes, city gates, and altars, imagining life in a place that was both a center of trade and the setting of one of the most famous epics in literature. Standing here, you can’t help but think of heroes like Achilles and Hector, and wonder where fact ends and myth begins.
