A Quiet Day Wandering Through Kuwait – Bayside Walks & Tower Views
#cityplaybook
Kuwait might not be the first place that comes to mind for a relaxing city stroll—but that’s exactly why it surprises you. With breezy coastal paths, striking architecture, and pockets of calm everywhere, it’s a city that knows how to take its time.
I started my day at Souk Sharq, where boats bob gently in the marina and locals come to shop, eat, or just enjoy the view. From there, I walked along the bay, passing palm trees, public art, and plenty of spots to sit and just take it all in.
The Kuwait Towers are a must-see, and even more impressive up close than in photos. They rise above the skyline like futuristic sculptures, glinting in the sun.
One of the best parts? The cafés. All around the bay area, you’ll find stylish spots serving good coffee and even better views. I took my time, sipped slowly, and just watched the city move.
Why I recommend Kuwait City:
・It’s a calm, uncrowded city with space to breathe and room to wander
・The waterfront walks and skyline views are both peaceful and striking

A Walk Along Strøget – Design, Details & a Hint of Royal Elegance
#cityplaybook
Strøget in Copenhagen is one of Europe’s longest pedestrian shopping streets—but it’s more than just shops. With its elegant architecture, open plazas, and calm atmosphere, it feels like a stroll through a perfectly designed cityscape.
One highlight for me was visiting the Royal Copenhagen flagship store. The space is beautiful—light-filled and thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of room to wander. Each table setting felt like a small work of art, and even just browsing felt like a special experience.
This part of Strøget is lined with stunning buildings, each one more graceful than the last. There’s a sense of quiet sophistication here that makes even a simple walk feel memorable.
Why I recommend this part of Copenhagen:
・It’s the perfect blend of design, culture, and everyday life
・You’ll find beauty not only in the shops, but in the architecture all around you

Wukang Road Shanghai: A Leafy Escape
#chillandthrill
Wukang Road is one of those streets where you can forget for a minute that you’re in the middle of one of the world’s busiest cities. It’s lined with trees that form this natural canopy overhead, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. I love how quiet and peaceful it feels, even though you’re just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of Shanghai. The street is full of historic buildings that give you a glimpse into the city’s past, especially during the time of the French Concession. I spent an afternoon just wandering around, stopping at little cafes and snapping photos of the beautiful architecture. There’s a feeling of nostalgia in the air, and it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a quieter side of Shanghai.
