📍Amber fort
Amer Fort (Hindi: आमेर क़िला, English: Amer Fort) or Amber Fort (English: Amber Fort) is located in Amer, a suburb of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is a small city measuring only 4 square kilometers and is 11 kilometers away from Jaipur. Amer Fort is one of the most important tourist attractions in Jaipur. It stands out on a cliff above a lake and was built by Maharaja Man Singh I.
Another checklist that anyone visiting Jaipur must not miss. The grandeur and charm are all here. But check the travel time carefully because it is quite hot during the day. There are many photo spots inside. And be careful, if anyone comes to pester you, you must be strong-willed and never give in. I have warned you. 💕

Mesmerising Details at Amber Fort
One of the gates in #amerfort called #ganeshpole or #ganeshgate. I fell for the meticulous artworks of this entrance. Notice the small window? It is known as Suhag Mandir where ladies of the royals used to watch functions held in the Diwan-i-Am through the latticed windows #theguidetoldus
anyway, apart from pale yellow & pink sandstone, the magnificent #amerfort #amberfort is also made up of glowing white marble. from the turkish bath, the diwan, the chamber and everything in between.
as you look up to the ceiling, to your right, left and beneath your feet, every detailing was just mesmerising and we had so much fun appreciating the beauty of this place

the gigantic Amer Fort
Meet Syabu, my fav animal
The Amer Fort elephant ride costs Rs1,000 for 2 people and it takes approximately 20-30mins up the fort. There are approximately 80 elephants, which carry up to 900 visitors per day (Jaipur Travel Guide, 2015)
Elephant congestion is a common view at the #amerfort whereby around 80 elephants transport 900 visitors everyday through the Sun Gate. Although the ride is undeniably a popular tourist attraction, it remains controversial among the animal activists. Prepare to be hassled by the hawkers & "professional photographer", they gonna haunt until u buy their goods & pictures. Our mahout was grumpy & asked for more tips than advised (We think this is very common & nearly experienced it everywhere.most of the time we don't think they deserve a tip because they are very unfriendly people.. pftt)
