Autumn walk through Dazaifu
Pleasant day trip to Dazaifu Shrine 🍁 The tranquility, cultural significance, and gorgeous architecture makes it so special. Absolutely in love with the serene surrounding, beautiful garden, 1000-year old trees and traditional wooden structures and the lovely weather. Most of the trees in that garden there are still green, but some have developed the most intense autumn colors I've ever seen. The place is famed for plum blossoms, and around 6,000 plum trees bloom in late winter. The walkway leading to the shrine is a five minutes walk from Dazaifu station. Cute shops, teahouses, and cafes line the street selling traditional snacks, souvenirs, and crafts. Be sure to also try the best Katsudon by the pound.
Highly recommend a day trip to Dazaifu. Plenty to explore. Lovely heritage town.
Getting There - Easy acxess. About one hour direct bus ride from Hakata bus terminal. Its proximity to Fukuoka and simplicity of access make it a great day trip for all ages.

Luxury ocean view with infinity onsen
We had the most enchanting experience at Rex Hotel Beppu! Everything was amazing from the moment we entered. Outstanding brand new hotel, recently opened in 2019. The hotel had a no shoe policy, which kept the wooden floor shiny clean. The tranquil atmosphere was a true retreat, allowing us to unwind. Everything was immaculate - from the cleanliness of the room to the service.
The rooms are spacious with very comfortable bed and soft linen, balcony to enjoy the gorgeous ocean view, great skincare products and amenities. All rooms are ocean facing, on the sunrise side...so wonderful to wake up to. The rooftop open air infinity onsen was mesmerizing. The Japanese breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Though they didn't speak English, we communicated using translation device which made it all very convenient.
We can’t recommend this gorgeous hotel enough for those seeking an elegant and unforgettable getaway. It truly exceeded our expectations and left us with cherished memories that we will treasure. We will definitely come back soon.

An amazing Todaiji temple 🙏
#helloautumn
Todaiji (東大寺, Tōdaiji, "Great Eastern Temple") is one of Japan's most famous and historically significant temples and a landmark of Nara. The temple was constructed in 752 as the head temple of all provincial Buddhist temples of Japan and grew so powerful that the capital was moved away from Nara in 784 in order to lower the temple's influence on government affairs.
Until recently, Todaiji's main hall, the Daibutsuden (Big Buddha Hall), held the record as the world's largest wooden building, despite the fact that the present reconstruction of 1692 is only two thirds of the original temple hall's size. The massive building houses one of Japan's largest bronze statues of Buddha (Daibutsu). The 15 meters tall, seated Buddha represents Vairocana and is flanked by two Bodhisattvas.
The deepest lake of Japan
#localescapes
#helloautumn
It is the deepest lake in Japan, with a depth of 423.4 meters. The surface of the lake changes from brilliant lapis lazuli to azure to indigo and is worth seeing. Take a cruise on a sightseeing boat, or take a paddle boat, canoe, kayak, SUP to enjoy the waters of the lake. It is also worth cycling, trekking, or driving along the lakeside to see the colors change across the lake. For those who want to stay longer, set up camp and see the changes with the time of day.
Located just south of Towada-Hachimantai National Park, Lake Tazawa (田沢湖, Tazawako) is a scenic caldera lake that has not been overly developed and retains a natural and rustic atmosphere. The lake is often visited in conjunction with nearby sites like Nyuto Onsen or Mount Akita-Komagatake, which also offer rustic scenes that are typical of the Tohoku Region.
Wangxiangu Fascinating Valley 🤯
#helloautumn
Absolutely impressive!!! 😮 so hard to capture in pictures how beautiful and special this valley is!
From day to night, the colours change and you can't stop taking pictures 📸 !
The valley isn't very big and I'm 2/3 hours you can climb and visit everything however I recommend staying for night time to see the lights and shows.
There are several shows happening every hour in different locations, dancing, fighting, historical as well as many markets and shops which kept us entertained for many hours!! ✨
From Shanghai it takes just 3 hours by train 🚂 to Shangrao City and from there the shuttle journey to Wangxiangu is 1 hour and costs 30rmb. I recommend staying one night in Wangxiang village to see everything without rushing, there are a lot of cheap and good homestays around!
The ticket for the Valley is 120rmb 💰 and is single entry (you can't go out and re-enter in the same day) so be careful while planning your day inside 😉
A must go - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Shomyoji Temple in Fall 🍁🍂
Perfect place to enjoy fall foliage in Yokohama.
This is the Shomyoji Temple. It was declared a National Treasure in 1922.
It was built in 1258 by the Kanazawa Hojo clan. You'll see the main gate with the long walkway to the temple compound. The second temple gate features the two guarding gods Niomon and Niozo, placed there in 1267.
The highlights of Jodoshiki Teen (Pure Land Garden) are the bright red bridges over Ajigaike Pond. The first is Nakanoshima-arched bridge and if there is no wind, the reflection off the pond guarantees a great picture. The second flat bridge symbolizes the entering into a peaceful life.
Location:
Kanagawa Bunko near Sea Paradise about 20 minutes by train from Yokohama station.
How to get there:
⭐️You can take the Seaside line to Uminoköen-Shibaguchi Station (10 minute walk to Shomyoji)
⭐️or Keikyu line to Kanazawa Bunko Station (12 minute walk)

The paths that cut through the bamboo groves make for a nice walk. The groves are particularly attractive when there is a light wind and the tall bamboo stalks sway gently back and forth. The bamboo has been used to manufacture various products, such as baskets, cups, boxes and mats at local workshops for centuries.
Arashiyama is in the far west of Kyoto, tucked along the base of the Arashiyama Mountains (meaning “Storm Mountains”). It’s a fair distance from the center of Kyoto: whether you go by train, bus, bicycle or taxi, you’re generally looking at about a 30-minute trip. Still, it’s worth it for the number of great sights here.

The UNESCO place Fushimi Inari located in Kyoto, is the most important of several thousands of shrines dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice. Foxes are thought to be Inari's messengers, resulting in many fox statues across the shrine grounds. Fushimi Inari Shrine has ancient origins, predating the capital's move to Kyoto in 794.
Fushimi Inari Shrine (伏見稲荷大社, Fushimi Inari Taisha) is an important Shinto shrine in southern Kyoto. It is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, which straddle a network of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds.

Ginkakuji (銀閣寺, Silver Pavilion) is a Zen temple along Kyoto's eastern mountains (Higashiyama). In 1482, shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa built his retirement villa on the grounds of today's temple, modeled after Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion), his grandfather's retirement villa at the base of Kyoto's northern mountains (Kitayama). The villa was converted into a Zen temple after Yoshimasa's death in 1490.

Kyoto famous temple 🙏
#fallingseason#helloautumn #localescapes #timetotravel
Kiyomizudera is best known for its wooden stage that juts out from its main hall, 13 meters above the hillside. The stage affords nice views of the numerous cherry and maple trees below that erupt in a sea of color in spring and fall, as well as of the city of Kyoto in the distance. The main hall, which together with the stage was built without the use of nails, houses the temple's primary object of worship, a small statue of the eleven faced, thousand armed Kannon.

Kiyomizu-dera was founded in 778 AD and has a dramatic hillside location in Southern Higashiyama with views across the city.
The large wooden main hall was built without nails and houses a statue of the eleven-faced, thousand-armed Kannon.
It’s a large complex with many other buildings including an impressive entrance gate, red three-storey pagoda, quiet paths into the forest, and the bizarre Tainai-meguri where you enter into darkness to make a wish (one of the weirdest things to do in Kyoto).
Starnberg Lake in Munich
The lake that embraces the shores of Starnberg or Feldafing is a beautiful sight near Munich.
It is relatively easy to reach by train from Munich downtown and located only 40 mins south from the city center.
The water is really cold, even during the warm months, and specially when autumn comes and the leaves start turning brown the landscape is a postcard worth enjoying.
The short trip on boat to Rosen island is also a notable attraction and to visit it during the month of September-October when locals dress in the traditional Bavarian outfits: lederhosen and dirndl makes the experience even more interesting.

The last Royal Palace of Korean History
#helloautumn
Gyeongbokgung Palace is the first palace of Joseon. Gyeongbokgung Palace plays a big role in preserving and developing Korean history and culture and is one of the important symbols of Korean culture. Many foreign tourists come to Gyeongbokgung Palace in September. I think it's great to wear hanbok, take pictures, and experience culture, so I can promote it widely.
It would be great to learn and experience history if you come with your child. You can also watch Gyeongbokgung Palace at night, and if you wear Hanbok, you can enter for free, and you can also use Exit 5 of Gyeongbokgung Station on Line 3 and Exit 2 of Gwanghwamun on Line 5. Gyeongbokgung Palace is a place worth visiting in Seoul where you can heal and feel the history with your family in any time. You can see Gyeongbokgung Palace in Hanbok, take pictures, and open at night as a good destination. I think it will be an experience where you can feel the grand and nobleness of Gyeongbokgung Palace. I hope you enjoy your trip.

Mt. Iwate, one of mountains representing Hachimatai region, has been familiar as a mountain of faith to people since ancient times, and it is popular with many climbers still today. Kakunodate is known as the Samurai District for good reason. Scattered throughout the town are remnants of the Satake clan’s great empire. Although the Satake clan was on the losing side of the Battle of Sekigahara, the new Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu showed fellow samurai some respect. After drastically reducing the land the Satake clan controlled, he allowed the clan, like others he had dominated, to join his new government if they behaved themselves. Today, the descendants of the wealthiest samurai families preserve and proudly display their houses that survived the war-torn country.
The Beauty of Fall in Tokyo 🍁
#helloautumn
Sharing with you my favorite autumn spot in Japan. This is the famous Meiji Jingu Gaien's ginkgo three lined avenue. I've been here two times already. They have Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Festival to celebrate fall foliage. There are street performers and food booths around the area. It gets really crowded here during its peak.
If you are in Tokyo during fall, don't miss to see this avenue. Do a research first before going tho, the leaves might not changed colors yet. I went 3rd week of November.
Access: 3 minutes walk from Gaienmae Station Exit 4a exit. Also 5 mins walk from Aoyama Icchome Station Exit 1
An impressive ride on the Mont Blanc Skyway
Visiting the Mont Blanc Skyway was a breathtaking journey that left me in awe of the natural world. This incredible attraction is not just a way to reach the heights of Mont Blanc, but an experience in itself.
What sets the Mont Blanc Skyway apart is the stunning ride on the cable car. As you ascend, the panoramic views of the Alps are simply jaw-dropping. You can see glaciers, rugged peaks, and a vast expanse of pristine wilderness. It's a chance to witness the grandeur of nature from a vantage point that's truly awe-inspiring.
Once you reach Punta Helbronner, one of the high points of the journey, you're treated to a 360-degree view that's nothing short of magical. The surrounding mountains, including Mont Blanc itself, seem within arm's reach.

A lovely walk around Busson Lake
My recent adventure to Busson Lake was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to connect with the natural world in a profound way. Nestled amidst the majestic Italian Alps, this pristine alpine lake offered a serene escape from the chaos of daily life.
During my visit, I embarked on a breathtaking hike around the lake's shores. The trails offered panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and lush forests. It was a hiker's paradise, and I couldn't get enough of the fresh mountain air and the sense of freedom.
What sets Lago Busson apart is its untouched, unspoiled nature. I enjoyed a peaceful picnic by the lake's edge, savoring the solitude and the symphony of natural sounds.
It's a destination that invites you to slow down, breathe in the mountain air, and appreciate the untouched beauty of the outdoors.

The highest mountain in the Alps
The sheer majesty of Mont Blanc, the highest in the European Alps, is something that can't be put into words.
The range of activities available is truly remarkable; from skiing and snowboarding in the winter, to hiking and mountaineering in the warmer months, there's something for everyone.
What struck me most was the unparalleled beauty of the surroundings. The snow-capped peaks, rugged terrain, and the sense of being so close to the sky itself, is truly humbling. The Aiguille du Midi cable car ride was a highlight; the panoramic views from its observation deck were simply breathtaking.
I really recommend to visit Mont Blanc, in Autumn or in any other season, this mountain has always something magic and it won't disappoint you!
