#AustraliaFlightEvent
🌷 Recommended time - Spring (March-May) is the best for cherry blossoms and mild weather!
Autumn (September-November) is great for traveling with fall foliage and comfortable temperatures (15-20°C). Winter (December-February) is perfect for skiing and hot springs in Hokkaido! (Tip: Check the cherry blossom forecast in late March-early April 🌸)☔ Not recommended time - Summer (June-August) can be uncomfortable due to the heat (over 30°C), rainy season, and typhoons (August-September). Golden Week (late April-early May) and Obon (mid-August) are crowded with domestic travelers.
(Tip: Make sure to book in advance during peak season ⏰)💡 Travel Tip - Save money on traveling around the country with the JR Pass, and prepare clothes that match the weather! ✨ Enjoy the charm of Japan's four seasons at the right time! #JapanTravel #RecommendedTime
🗽 Best time to travel to New York & travel information, when is the best time?
#AustraliaFlightEvent
Recommended travel period - New York is most pleasant in spring (March-May) and fall (September-November). In spring, Central Park's cherry blossoms and clear weather are attractive, and in fall, the autumn foliage and cool air are attractive. Winter (December-February) is special with Christmas and New Year's events, but it is cold and snowy.
(Tip: Thanksgiving Parade in late November is recommended 🎉)☀️ Not recommended period - Summer (June-August) is humid and hot (over 30°C), so outdoor activities can be difficult. 🗺️ Travel information - Convenient to move by subway (MTA) and yellow cab, and accommodations in Manhattan or Brooklyn are recommended. If you make a reservation in advance for attractions with admission fees (Empire State Building $44-$79), you can reduce the waiting time in line.
(Tip: Discounts available by purchasing CityPass 🎟️)✨ Choose the charms of New York by season and go! #NewYorkTravel #RecommendedTime

#AustraliaFlightEvent #Suwon #Gwanggyo #SoloTravel #TravelPlan #DomesticTravel #TravelRecommendation #museum #koreatrip #suwon
This afternoon, I visited the Suwon Museum's "Independence Activist Kim Se-hwan" special exhibition and followed in the footsteps of a forgotten local hero. The exhibit of Dr. Kim Se-hwan's relics at the entrance caught my eye, and the notes in the old leather notebook vividly conveyed his will for independence at the time. 🥲 I was touched when I found a young Kim Se-hwan in the photos of activities in the Suwon area during the March 1st Movement. I am always grateful.

🚨 Notes
The transcription experience ends at 4:35 PM (needs time to organize the paper)
The prison records room is dark and hard to read
Some torture-related exhibits can be emotionally difficult
I was moved by Dr. Kim Se-hwan's firm convictions while reading the trial records.. I wrote "I will not forget" on the Taegeukgi handkerchief (5,000 won) made at the experience zone. I will always carry it close to my heart.. The last experience of the independence movement site in the exhibition hall was a reenactment of the Manse Movement in Suwon where Kim Se-hwan was active, and it felt like time travel to the past..

This afternoon, I visited the Suwon Museum's special exhibition "Jeongjo's Construction of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress" and encountered the greatest architectural project of Joseon! The life-size model of a crane at the entrance caught my eye. It was amazing that such an elaborate machine was made with technology from 200 years ago!! The original copy of the Hwaseongseongyeok Uigwe was on display, and the detailed illustrations and explanations on each page were amazing!!

Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Jeongjo's Study" → Yesterday's Thought Exhibition Space with few people

🚨 Notes
The castle experience ends at 4:30 p.m. (needs time to organize the blocks)
The study exhibition room is dark, so it's difficult to take pictures
Weekends are crowded with groups, so I recommend visiting on weekdays
While watching the video of the castle wall construction process, a notification popped up saying that my battery was at 15%, so I quickly looked for a charger ㅋㅋ The Hwaseong map (5,000 won) I made at the experience zone was a tearful failure because I accidentally drew the wrong location of the Dongbuk Gongsimdon.. My own money.. The last VR Hwaseong Procession in the exhibition hall was a special experience of looking at Suwon from Jeongjo's perspective!! It was so real, it was so amazing!!
Suwon's Independence Activist Exhibition That Can Engrave Light on Forgotten Names🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #koreatrip #museum #KoreanIndependenceMovement #GwanggyoTravel #Gwanggyo #suwon
This afternoon, I went to Suwon Museum's "Suwon's Independence Activists" special exhibition beyond Gwanggyo Park and met hidden heroes of local history. The blood declaration written on the Taegeukgi at the entrance caught my eye, and even in the faint font, I could feel the determination of the time. The corner on female independence activists from Suwon was impressive, and the perspective that broke away from the male-centered narrative was refreshing. I am so grateful to these people!

Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Room of Letters in Prison" → Lively reading space with few visitors

Weekends are crowded with groups, so weekday visits are recommended
I was overwhelmed with emotion when I saw the materials related to martyr Yu Gwan-sun and realized that she was the same age as me!! The independence activist badge (4,000 won) made at the experience zone had a slightly crooked knot, but it was a meaningful souvenir. The last independence movement site in the exhibition hall was impressive because it felt like I was standing on the street at the time. Thank you for the independence movement. I won't forget
Time travel in a school classroom called a museum, modern education in Suwon🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #Suwon #Gwanggyo #SoloTravel #koreatrip #museum #SuwonEducation
This afternoon, I visited the Suwon Museum's "Modern Education in Suwon" special exhibition and experienced a journey to find the roots of our education!! The restored model of Suwon's first Seodang from the early 1900s at the entrance caught my eye! It was impressive to see students sitting tightly in a small space. Haha. The school uniforms and school supplies of Samil School students were surprisingly modern in design. Haha.
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Modern cursive practice → Writing on a stone tablet in the font of the time (20 minutes, 4,500 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "School Song Room" → Suwon School Song Sound Experience Room with few visitors
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Lunch Memories Set" (6,000 won) → Old school lunch menu
🚨 Notes
Handwriting experience ends at 4:25 p.m. (needs time to organize ingredients)
The school song experience room's headphones are not in good condition, so personal earphones are recommended
The lunch set is limited in quantity, so popular menus may sell out
I almost fell over when I was sitting at an old desk in the restored classroom of Suwon Elementary School in the 1950s because my legs were shaking. Always be careful! I wrote my name on an old lunchbox tin case (7,000 won) made at the experience zone, but it was harder than I thought to carve the letters on the metal plate, so the 'ㅅ' ended up upside down. Haha. At the last AR school uniform history exhibit, I took a screenshot of the 70s school uniform with my face superimposed on it because it was so funny. Haha.
Suwon's history in surnames Special exhibition of Suwon's oldest surname🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #TravelPlan #DomesticTravel #SuwonHistoryMuseum #koreatrip #museum
This afternoon, I passed by Gwanggyo Park and visited the Suwon Museum's "Suwon's Old Clan" special exhibition, where I discovered the depth of local roots! The huge family tree wall at the entrance caught my eye. The branching process of the Hwaseong Lee clan, spread out under the lights, was impressive, like a tributary of a river. In particular, the family register document from the 1700s was so old that the paper had turned brown, but the writing was still clear, which was amazing!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Making your own family motto → Writing with calligraphy on traditional Korean paper (20 minutes, 5,000 won)
Hidden spot: "Family's Room" on the 2nd floor → Gyeonggi-do family cultural heritage exhibition hall with few visitors
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Jongga's Tea" (7,000 won) → Traditional tea set of noble families

Family motto experience ends at 4:35 p.m. (need time to clean up the brush)
The stairs on the 2nd floor are steep, so it is recommended to use the elevator
Tea may be sold out as it is made on the day
I came to understand the historical context connected to the construction of Hwaseong Fortress by King Jeongjo while looking at the Jeonju Lee clan records! I wrote 'Ongojishin' on a hanging scroll-shaped family motto (7,000 won) made in the experience zone, but the handwriting was crooked, so it was a little disappointing. There's nothing I can do about it.. The change in residence by family name at the end of the exhibition hall shows how the distribution of family names in the Suwon area has changed from the Joseon Dynasty to the present. It showed vividly what had changed haha
Prehistoric Suwon where you can see the story contained in a single stone axe🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #SoloTravel #museum #suwon #TravelPlan #DomesticTravel #SuwonHistoryMuseum
This afternoon, I visited the "Prehistoric Suwon" exhibition at the Suwon Museum behind Gwanggyo Park and vividly felt the history of this land 10,000 years ago. ㅎㅎ The large Paleolithic tool collection at the entrance caught my eye, and one of the arrowheads overlapped my face reflected in the glass case, which was a strange illusion! I was surprised that the artifacts excavated from the Hwaseong Seobongsa site were in better condition than I thought!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Pottery restoration puzzle → Matching broken pottery pieces (20 minutes, free)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Discovery of Fire" → Paleolithic oven reproduction space with few visitors

The oven space is heated, so it may be a bit hot during the summer
There are some areas where it is difficult to take pictures due to the dim lighting in the exhibition hall
I was surprised by the louder sound of the stone breaking than I thought when watching the stone tool making demonstration. ㅎㅎ My own prehistoric bracelet (5,000 won) made in the experience zone took 30 minutes to complete because the thread kept getting tangled. It is currently free! The last AR prehistoric person experience in the exhibition hall vividly showed the lives of prehistoric people who lived in the Suwon area, so I didn't know how time passed. ㅋㅋㅋ
The history of the Suin Line, where you can recall and see memories that continued along the railroad.
#AustraliaFlightEvent #koreatrip #solotravel #museum #suwon
This afternoon, I visited the special exhibition "History of Suin Line" at Suwon Museum next to Gwanggyo Park and experienced time travel on the railroad. ㅎㅎ The model of the first Suin Line train from 1937 at the entrance caught my eye, but I was surprised because it was smaller and more modest than I thought! The black and white photos of the early days of Suwon Station were impressive, but they were so different from the current bustling appearance that I doubted if they were the same place. LOL
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Making a train ticket → Making an old Suin Line ticket (15 minutes, 4,000 won)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Miracle Sound Room" → A quiet space where you can hear the sounds of trains from different eras

The headphones are not in good condition for the Miracle Sound Experience, so personal earphones are recommended
Lunch boxes take 15 minutes to prepare, and must be ordered in advance
In front of the old flight attendant uniform exhibition, the different design was fun. The mini traffic light keychain (6,000 won) made at the experience zone had a slightly wrong color arrangement, but it was still a good souvenir! The last AR Suin Line trip in the exhibition hall was a vivid virtual experience of riding a 1950s train to Incheon, which reminded me of stories from my grandmother's childhood!

The world of scholars that cannot be felt in reality but can be felt with the tips of the fingers, Munbangsawoo🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #koreatrip #solotravel #travelplan #domestictravel #munbangsawoo
This afternoon, I passed by Gwanggyo Park and visited the Suwon Museum's "munbangsawoo" special exhibition, and I was immersed in the spiritual world of scholars! The large Joseon Dynasty mid-period inkstone collection at the entrance caught my eye! It was amazing that the beak of the bronze inkstone in the shape of a crane actually spouted water! The delicacy and elasticity of the highest quality native rabbit hair brush was special because I could touch it with my own hands!

If you have an allergy to fragrance, avoid the Hyangyeon Room
Some exhibits reflect light so be careful of the angle of the photo
During the Hanji making experience, I tripped and fell into a water bucket lol My own mini inkstone (7,800 won) made in the experience zone doesn't have an elaborate pattern, but I'm proud of my name engraved on the stone!! The last part of the exhibition, the process of making a writing brush, ink paper, and inkstone, was so vivid that I was amazed!! Highly recommended!
You can see the Four Gentlemen, which means the four seasons, blooming from the tip of a brush🇰🇷

#FourGentlemen #SoloTravel
This afternoon, I visited the "FourGentlemen" special exhibition at Suwon Museum and encountered the essence of oriental aesthetics! The eight-panel plum blossom screen at the entrance caught my eye, and the white plum blossoms on the black background were shining like hope in the cold winter! I looked at the bamboo painting by Kim Myeong-guk from the mid-Joseon Dynasty for a long time because it felt like it was swaying in the wind. ㅎㅎ

Hidden spot: "Room of Ink Scent" on the 2nd floor → Exhibition room where ink painting is made with few visitors
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Four Gracious Plants Sweets" (7,500 won) → Set of 4 seasonal sweets and tea
🚨 Notes
The fan experience ends at 4:20 p.m. (need time to clean up the ink)
The 2nd floor is a little dry to control humidity, so be careful with your throat
The sweets are made only on the day, so if you go late, there is a high chance that they will be sold out
I didn't know how lightly to hold the brush during the orchid drawing experience, so I had to draw it three times!!! When I drew the first stroke, my hands were shaking and the ink smudged, but the instructor comforted me by saying, "This is the natural beauty of orchids." LOL The last chrysanthemum video in the exhibition hall showed chrysanthemums blooming on a frosty autumn day in super fast speed, making me feel the passage of time!! Highly recommended since it's free!

This afternoon, I visited the "Late Joseon" special exhibition at the Suwon Museum and vividly felt the era of reform and change! The handwritten document of King Jeongjo at the entrance caught my eye. The handwriting was more powerful and challenging than I thought. Haha. I was moved by the aspirations of the people at the time in front of artifacts related to the Donghak Peasant Movement! A folk painting-style cell phone case made in the experience zone (8,000 won) is now free. The tiger painting is a bit ruined, but it was a funny memory! The last AR Suwon Hwaseong Fortress construction experience in the exhibition hall vividly showed the process of building the fortress wall, which helped me understand King Jeongjo's dream. ㅎㅎ

This afternoon, I visited the Suwon Museum's "Appeal" special exhibition and experienced a journey following the brush strokes of the Joseon royal family! The Jeongjo Appeal folding screen at the entrance caught my eye, and the harmony of strength and delicacy felt in the handwriting was amazing! King Sejong's handwritten letter was surprisingly small and neat. ㅎㅎ

Cookies are made on the day and are limited in quantity
My eyes turned red when I saw the sincerity between the letters in front of Yeongjo's letter filled with filial piety. ㅜㅜ My own appeal bookmark (5,000 won) made at the experience zone is embarrassing because the handwriting is messy, but it became a precious souvenir. The final appeal creation process in the exhibition hall was impressive as it vividly showed how the king wrote and stored his writings!

#AustraliaFlightEvent #SuwonMuseum #koreatrip #museum #suwon #solotravel
This afternoon, I visited the "Early Joseon Dynasty" special exhibition at Suwon Museum and vividly encountered the dawn of a new dynasty! The replica of King Taejo Lee Seong-gye's portrait at the entrance caught my eye, but I was surprised by how soft it was. The letter experience ends at 4:25 p.m. (need time to clean up the ink)
The blueprint exhibition hall is dimly lit, making it difficult to take pictures
It is recommended to visit on a weekday as there are many group visitors on the weekends
I tried to understand the Joseon ruling system in front of the replica of Gyeongguk Daejeon, but the Chinese characters were too difficult, so I gave up. The royal seal I made in the experience zone was a little crooked, but it became a special souvenir! The last AR court ceremony experience in the exhibition hall was so impressive that it felt like I was invited to a royal event 600 years ago!

Bohol Pau is located in a quiet and secluded area within Panglao Island.
Situated on a hill close to the sea,
When you sit on the terrace, the smell of the sea is carried by the wind.
And the boundary between the sky and the sea spread out in the distance becomes a wallpaper.
Pau is a fusion Asian & European style restaurant.

but with French or Mediterranean cooking methods,
there are many dishes that give you a sensory impression in every bite.

The life-size turtle-shaped diorama at the entrance caught my eye, and I realized how innovative Admiral Yi Sun-sin's tactics were. Haha. The Hong Gildongjeon manuscript exhibition was impressive, but I was surprised that the handwriting was sharper than I thought. The Joseon literati bracelet (6,000 won) made in the experience zone had a slightly sloppy knot, but it was okay for a first attempt! The last AR nobleman's life experience in the exhibition hall was interesting because it allowed me to discover the leisure hidden in formal etiquette😎

The 1:1 scale petroglyph model at the entrance caught my eye, and depending on the angle of the light, the shadows changed and I could see various appearances! It was fun to discover similar but different artistic features in the Bangudae and Daegokri rock engraving comparison section! The mini petroglyph hand mirror (8,000 won) made at the experience zone is a bit messy because of my lack of aesthetic sense, but it became a souvenir filled with memories! The VR petroglyph tour at the end of the exhibition hall was so vivid that it felt like I was actually visiting Ulsan!

#AustraliaFlightEvent #koreatrip #suwon #museum #domestictravel #resistance #suwonmuseum
This afternoon, I visited the Suwon Museum's "Resist Suwon 1919" special exhibition and felt the historical moment of the independence movement deep in my heart! The Taegeukgi wave art wall at the entrance caught my eye, and the ripple effect that responded to the sound of footsteps was vivid. The actual relics of the Suwon area's independence movement participants were impressive, and a pair of old shoes made me imagine the march that day.
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Copying the Declaration of Independence → Write it on Korean paper in the font of the time (20 minutes, free)
Hidden spot: "Prison Record Room" on the 2nd floor → A space for fostering and testifying to independence activists with few people
Recommended snack: "March 1st Independence Day Confectionery" (6,500 won) at the museum cafe → Traditional dessert with the Taegeuk pattern
🚨 Notes
The copying experience ends at 4:40 PM (needs time to organize materials)
The headphones in the testimony room are not in good condition, so personal earphones are recommended
The last exhibition room is dark, making it difficult to take pictures
I was moved when I read the newspaper article at the time about students my age participating in the independence movement. Thank you. The Declaration of Independence made in the experience zone The bookmark (5,000 won) was a little stained, but it became a meaningful souvenir! .. The last Manse Movement experience at the exhibition hall was touching because it felt like I was there at the Paldasan site at the time. 🥲
Balicasag Island Tour
#AustraliaFlightEvent
Bohol, Philippines The name is like a small song floating over the sea
It's quiet and unfamiliar, but strangely warm
Balicasag, Bohol, Philippines is like a secret garden where the sea whispers
Balicasag Island is small
It takes less than 15 minutes to circle the island
But under that small sea, there is an unimaginable depth and
beauty
Balicasag is designated as a marine protected area,
So coral reefs and marine life are really abundant
Sky blue, lavender, orange, yellow, green
Every color you can imagine shines brightly in the water
The fish swimming underneath
Create a landscape that looks like a starry night sky

This afternoon, I visited the "Asian Games, Uniting Asia" exhibition at the Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to Gwanggyo History Park and vividly experienced the history of Asian sports exchange! The actual 1986 Seoul Asian Games torch at the entrance caught my eye, and it seemed heavier than I thought. The mascot collection for each competition was so cute that I didn't realize how much time had passed while taking pictures! It's so cute ㅎㅎ

The 2002 Busan Asian Games uniform exhibition brought back vivid memories of those days, and I was filled with nostalgia ㅎㅎ The clay medals I made at the experience zone had letters engraved backwards, which made me laugh, but they became special souvenirs! The VR opening ceremony experience at the end of the exhibition hall was the best because it felt as if I was there!! It was so much fun.
Okpo Radiance
Okpo Radiance in Geoje Island
425 Okpo-daechup-ro, Geoje, Gyeongsangnam-do
Check-in: 5 PM, Check-out: 11 AM
Front desk operates only from 10 AM to 10 PM! After the front desk closes, services like towels, water, and other amenities are unavailable.
I booked this place on short notice due to a tight schedule, but managed to get an ocean-view accommodation at an affordable price. Despite the busy itinerary, it provided a brief moment of relaxation. The bed was large, and the room was spacious with a table, sofa, mirror, and chair.
There are larger rooms available, making it a great choice for family vacations. It also seems clean and suitable for couples or friends traveling together.
