I was so hungry for this thick bread that I finally got to see it🫶🏻 The Mou Toast Plate comes with your favorite toast, salad🥗, and seasonal marinade for about 1,200 yen! If you get a slightly better toast, it will be +200 yen or so~🌱 You can order food from 8am to 3pm! The cafe latte was bitter and delicious. All the bread and espresso coffee are sent from here, and they also have a nice roasting machine. It was so delicious that you should definitely try it!! The first floor of the store was like a secret base, and the second floor was like a school! I was so hungry that I ordered sweet and salty pancakes🥞 It was my first time to try maple syrup on bacon and fried eggs🍳, but it went surprisingly well with it! I was surprised🫢! It was super delicious🌟 The lemonade was also refreshing and perfect for the hot summer☀️ It was very stylish! The Basque cheesecake was melty inside and the cheese spread in your mouth, giving it an elegant taste! The maple bacon scone was sweet yet salty from the bacon and was very filling. The brownie had a strong chocolate flavor and was sweet, but I was surprised to find out it was gluten-free! They also have gluten-free carrot cake and a variety of other sweets, so I'll keep coming back even while on a diet! Warm and calm atmosphere, we stumbled upon this place by accident but were surprised by how nice the vibes and staff were. We didn't use shisha this time though Many customers also used shisha. The gateau chocolate was rich and fudgy with a pretty good matcha flavor; and the vanilla ice cream pairs well to balance the sweetness. The barista was friendly and polite. Biwako Valley Ski Resort is located in Shiga Prefecture, just an hour away from Osaka. It's easily accessible via JR train by transferring at Kyoto Station and heading to Shiga Station. Upon arrival at Shiga Station, there is a shuttle bus waiting to take you to the resort. This destination is perfect for a one-day trip. On the day of our visit, the weather was clear and pleasant. At the top, sleds are available for rent at 500 yen per hour, which you can rent and enjoy right away. The ropeway operates from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, but it's recommended to check the schedule on the official website for confirmation.

I arrived early in the morning ☀️ (highly recommended!) when the streets were still quiet and the sunlight was soft — the perfect timing for a relaxing stroll and photo session! One of the best parts of the day? Wearing a kimono for the full cultural experience! 👘✨ After getting dressed at a nearby rental shop (they helped with everything — from the obi to the hairstyle), I felt like I’d stepped into a scene from a fairytale. Walking through the bamboo grove 🎍 in full kimono was surreal — the towering green stalks swayed gently above, and the filtered morning light made it all feel dreamlike. Of course, I didn’t miss the chance to visit Tenryu-ji 🏯🪷 — one of Kyoto’s most famous Zen temples. The temple’s garden was incredibly peaceful, with a large koi pond, seasonal blooms, and a stunning mountain backdrop that looked magical in every photo 📸. I couldn’t stop snapping pictures — everything was just too beautiful! After the peaceful walk, I treated myself to Arashiyama’s famous tofu dishes at a cozy local restaurant. I had a warm bowl of yudofu (simmered tofu in broth) 🍲, served with rice, pickled veggies, and miso soup. So simple, so comforting, and surprisingly satisfying — like a warm hug for the soul 🫶 From kimono moments and temple serenity to peaceful bites of tofu, my morning in Arashiyama was everything I needed.
