I walked past this restaurant packed with customers in the heart of Hobart’s CBD. 🏵️ A casual and welcoming Thai restaurant offering Thai Street Food. They offer a fixed price for a varied Thai lunch buffet including rice🍚 , noodles🍜 , curries🍛, vegetables🥕🥬 etc. Our order: 🍜🥬 Pad See Ew with Vegetable $17.5 🥘🥩 Panang Curry with Beef $18.5 🫓 Roti $4 🤤 My favourite was the Panang Curry with Beef. It was thick and creamy and salty and sweet with a kick of peanuts🥜. It paired really well with the Roti. It roasts its own coffee and sells simple pastries and sandwiches. 🛍️ There is a huge selection of coffee beans that are available to take home. Our order: ☕️ Hot Flat White 🥐 Plain Croissant 🥪 Ham & Cheese Jaffle (with crisps) 🤤 This is one of the best coffees I have tried during my holiday in Australia. There are different Greek paintings on the wall. We ordered: 🥩 Sidirodromos – 48-hour slow-cooked beef short ribs paired with kritharaki, a Greek risoni. 🥙 Cretan-style Mix (Lamb and Chicken) - charcoal grilled meat marinated in Cretan herbs, served with lemon roast potatoes, chopped tomatoes, onions, pita bread & a side of tzatziki. 🤤 The beef short ribs are so tender and flavourful, the meat is separated from the bone. It pairs so well with kritharaki. It’s delicious! ☎️ It’s recommended to reserve a table directly through their official website or by calling +61 3 6169 1129 in advance. Around 10 mins’ walk to Salamanca Market. 🛏️ I stayed in the Superior King room for 4 nights with a fantastic Hobart city view. Facilities - 🏋 There’s a small 24-hour gym on the second floor. 🅿️ Valet parking is available at AUD35 per car per day. 🍫 Free chocolate treats in the lobby from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, known as the ‘Chocolate Hour'. 🍝 The Italian restaurant on the ground floor is a great option for dinner🍕 or just a drink🥂 or two with friends and families. 🤔 The only con for me is that the mattress is a bit too soft.
