Exploring the Stunning Blue Temple, Chiang Rai 💙
One of the highlights of my Chiang Rai trip was definitely visiting Wat Rong Suea Ten, also known as the Blue Temple. The moment I arrived, I was blown away by the vibrant blue color of the entire temple—it’s so unique and absolutely stunning in person! ✨
The details here are incredible. From the golden accents to the beautiful, modern murals inside, everything feels so fresh and different from the usual temples I’ve seen. I really loved the big white Buddha statue sitting calmly in the middle—it gave me such a peaceful vibe. 🕊️
I went in the morning when it wasn’t too crowded, which was perfect for enjoying the place and snapping lots of photos 📸. The temple isn’t very big, so you can comfortably walk around and explore in about 30–45 minutes.
Don’t forget to dress modestly—shoulders and knees covered. If you forget, they have wraps you can borrow at the entrance. Also, there are cute little stalls outside selling drinks and local snacks, and I had the best butterfly pea ice cream there! 🍦💙
If you’re in Chiang Rai, I totally recommend making a quick stop here. It’s an easy ride from the city and you can even combine it with the White Temple and the Black House for a full day of temple hopping.
Such a beautiful place that’s both photogenic and peaceful. 🌸

Whispers of the Past – Temple Serenity in Xi’an
#discoverchina
In the heart of Xi’an, where ancient dynasties once ruled and the Silk Road began, lies a tranquil temple that quietly holds the soul of Chinese history. Stepping into its sacred grounds is like crossing into another time—a space where emperors once prayed, monks once chanted, and the seasons have passed in quiet reverence for centuries.
As spring arrives in Xi’an, the temple is painted in soft hues of pink and green. Cherry blossoms line the stone pathways, their petals dancing in the wind. The temple’s curved rooftops, adorned with golden ornaments, shimmer in the sunlight. Incense smoke weaves through the air like a soft veil, carrying wishes and prayers skyward.
Wandering through the peaceful courtyards, you’ll hear the melodic tones of wind chimes and the faint murmur of ancient scriptures being recited within the prayer halls. Statues of guardians stand tall at the entrances, silently watching as generations pass beneath their gaze. Each corner of this temple speaks of devotion—timeless, quiet, and profound.
Spring is the perfect time to visit—when the balance between nature and spirit feels most alive. Whether you’re here to learn, to reflect, or simply to breathe deeply, this temple offers a moment of connection that goes far beyond the physical. It’s a sacred rhythm woven into the fabric of Xi’an’s rich tapestry.
Let the whispers of this ancient temple guide you inward and remind you of the enduring beauty that lives where history meets peace.

Lantern Dreams and Temple Paths – Spring at a Temple Park in Xi’an
#discoverchina
Tucked within the historic city of Xi’an lies a hidden sanctuary where culture and calm collide — a Chinese-themed temple park that feels like a living painting. As spring settles in, the air turns sweet with the scent of blooming flowers, and the pathways come alive with vibrant colors and delicate light. Here, tradition isn’t just remembered — it blossoms.
The temple park is a blend of sacred architecture and natural beauty. Pagodas rise gracefully among willows, their reflections dancing on still ponds. Stone bridges arch over koi-filled waters, and crimson lanterns sway gently with the breeze, casting a warm glow even in daylight. Each step leads you through ornamental gates and flower-laced pavilions that speak to centuries of art and devotion.
It’s spring, and the energy is soft, blooming, and hopeful. Cherry blossoms dust the walkways like confetti from nature. Families stroll under lantern-lined paths, friends gather under the eaves of the tea houses, and the sounds of traditional instruments sometimes drift through the air. The atmosphere feels festive yet peaceful — a celebration of both heritage and the gentle unfolding of the season.
Whether you come for a quiet morning of reflection or to take in the rich aesthetics of classical Chinese design, this temple park in Xi’an offers a perfect blend of story and scenery. It’s a reminder that beauty lives in the details — in the curve of a roof, the glow of a lantern, and the rustle of spring leaves in an ancient breeze.
