Geneva in autumn is nothing short of magical. I spent a day simply wandering through this beautiful city, and I can confidently say that the crisp air, the colorful fall foliage, and the peaceful vibe made it a perfect escape. Lake Geneva and the Jet d'Eau My day started with a stroll along Lake Geneva, where the stunning view of the water contrasted with the golden hues of the autumn leaves surrounding the lake. The iconic Jet d'Eau fountain was still as impressive as ever, shooting water high into the sky against the backdrop of the Swiss Alps. The reflections on the lake were breathtaking, making it an ideal spot for some quiet moments or just taking in the beauty of the city. Old Town Charm From the lake, I wandered into Geneva's Old Town, where the cobbled streets and historic buildings transport you back in time. The St. Pierre Cathedral was a standout, offering panoramic views of the city from its tower. The old town had a cozy autumn charm, with cafes serving hot drinks, and I couldn’t resist stopping for a warm cup of Swiss hot chocolate while enjoying the atmosphere. The Autumn Leaves at Parc des Bastions Next, I made my way to Parc des Bastions, a peaceful green space right in the heart of the city. The trees were ablaze with autumn colors, and the soft crunch of fallen leaves underfoot added to the calmness of the moment. The Reformation Wall and statues of famous figures added a historical touch to the park, making it a great spot to relax and people-watch. Quaint Cafes and Strolling the Streets No trip to Geneva would be complete without a stop at one of its lovely cafes. I found a quaint little spot and enjoyed a warm espresso while soaking in the autumn vibe. The streets around Rue du Rhône were lined with shops and boutiques, and the slower pace of the fall season gave me time to appreciate the little details around the city, from the elegant buildings to the distant views of the mountains. It is gorgeous especially during autumn as you can enjoy the fall colour in a cool weather. It was known during summer to get cool weather too. Highly recommend to ride over the town and enjoy the 'Fall in Love'. For those shopping lovers, advised to visit their Prince Village Karuizawa for tax free luxury items.

They provide great western breakfast varieties to choose from, and staffs are helpful and friendly. Head out to take a train ride to the city, takes around half an hour to Rosenborg Castle. You may see life guards guarding the Danish treasury since 400 years ago. It takes around at least one and half hour to complete the castle visits. For lunch recommendations, suggest to go to Torvehallerne Market, it’s an indoor market and semi outdoor place selling urban produces food and drinks. A must try danish open-faced sandwich,Smørrebrød which comes in lots of variety and danish wine. The market has lots of different food and drinks choices, which you may pick from. Next let’s head to Glyptoteket, which present artworks exhibition and cultural-historical objects. Time needed at least one and half hour to explore the whole. You can buy a Glyptoteket token at the coin machine in the cloakroom for 20 DKK using a credit card. After your visit you can return the coin in the machine and get a refund of your money or my choice I kept the token as souvenir. Let’s take a stroll towards Church of Our Lady, you may sightseeing before opening hours before 5pm. Please note that there is no sightseeing allowed during service. Through walking in the town area, we proceed to Round tower in the evening to catch the sunset overcast at the city view. Please be there around slightly more than half and hour before sunset timing, so that you can enjoy the day and best dusk view. (Beautiful sunset view) For dinner , you may try iconic hotdog bun at DØP - The Organic Sausage man, it’s a street vendor that they accept credit cards payment as well. From the station towards the town area requires around 10 mins walk, you may head for light lunch at k.u.k. Hofbäckerei Café to try their delicious homemade pastry and bakery. After the break, you may head to Linzer Mariendom, the largest church in Austria with beautiful stained glass windows since 1900s which worth the visit. Proceed to Linz castle upwards hillslope where it is home to the Upper Austrian provincial Museum. You will need at least an hour and half to complete the exhibits. Near to the ticketing office, you will find panoramic city view which not to be missed. After complete the museum trip, head to Römerberg to enjoy the scenic spot of Danube downstream and Pöstlingberg opposite. Take a coffee break at Café Traxlmayr and try Austria cappuccino called “Kapuziner, they have elegant interior and place is spacious with beautiful outdoor garden for fine weather. This sums up the perfect day trip and head back to Vienna.

Let’s start off breakfast at the Old Market Hall for local food, the market sold local produces as well as Eastern Europe products,interesting to explore for an hour. There are seats at second level for you to settle your purchased breakfast bought at the market, overlooking at the bustling crowd in the market. Next proceed to Primacial Palace which exhibited gallery of Hungarian rulers’s pictures, get the audio at your languages to have more understanding about each pictures and furniture with their diverse history. If you like street art, you may find artworks at Rajská road while strolling. After that head towards The Blue Church - Church of St. Elizabeth, covered with unique blue color tiles which made it special. Church is allowed to enter within the restricted opening hours for access to the interior of the church with free entrance. Let’s take scroll to old town, you may pass by a bronze handyman peeking out from a canal in the middle of street which called the rubberneck(Čumil) for photo taking session. The myth saying stroke the button on Chumil’s cap for luck, give it a try. Along the street, there is Ganymede's Fountain which it depicts figures from ancient mythology. Head over to resturant, Petite Creperie - Pouličné palacinky located at little hillside for lunch. They have lunch set meals recommended of your preference, the staffs are friendly and approachable. Walked up the hill slope for Bratislava Castle which exhibits museum collections from the Middle Ages up to the present. Stroll their Baroque garden to enjoy the photographs of status and fountain. The castle has a great overview of the Bratislava city. Upon walking downwards back to the town, head across the bridge towards Medieval City Walls. Historical information can be found at the city walls while you stroll about the area. You may visit St. Martin's Cathedral before 6pm,which is nearby the city wall area, it is the largest and oldest church in Bratislava. Lake Bled in Slovenia, Eastern Europe has always been the popular tourism spot which is the fairytale lake of Slovenia, in the town of Bled. Take a boat ride to the romantic Bled island which located in the centre of the lake, go for the wishing bells tower and Church of the Mother of God which has diverse history to explore. You may enjoy the leisure of tasting the 'kremšnita' vanilla-custard-and-cream cake, one of Slovenian desserts after the excursion.

Come Fall, Nami island is blanket with yellow and red leaves 😍. There are a few spots where you can take your photos - the ginkgo trees lined at the sides that is located towards the end, the waterfall area and train tracks. Booked an accommodation near the ferry terminal so that we can reach early. We took the first ferry to Nami at around 7.30am to avoid the crowds and reach there at around 8. Was good as it became fairly crowded at around 11+. We had a nice time taking photos without people photobomb. #fallcolors #seoul #autumn

Travelled to this place via public bus transport service from Ljubljana main bus station, estimated 2 hours to arrive. Most visitors will go lake bled and overlooked Bohinj lake. This place is great for a boat ride (40 mins per one way trip), hiking in the forest which is less crowded. Autumn season is fabulous, with all the maples scattered around in the background giving the rusty fall scenery, so beautiful, so fairytale. Do drop by if you have a chance in Slovenia, highly recommend. #fallcolors

Let me tell you first that the stairs here are quite steep. If you are bringing older people, be sure to reserve more space. Time climbs step by step. After walking through Omotesando, you will see the "torii gate". Have you seen it (the highest mountain in the Three Kingdoms)? This was the title given by Emperor Heijo at that time, which means the greatest mountain range in the world. It was nominated by the emperor himself.
