Pattaya A Beach Just an Hour Away
#thailandtrip Pattaya may be close to Bangkok, but it feels like a whole different world.
Whether you’re looking for a lazy beach day, exciting nightlife, or just a quick weekend reset — Pattaya has it all. Mornings here are made for sunrise walks along Jomtien Beach, fresh seafood by the shore, and boat rides to nearby Koh Larn, where the water is surprisingly clear and the sand soft.
In the afternoon, I explored the peaceful side — like the Sanctuary of Truth, a hand-carved wooden temple that’s both grand and grounding.
By night? The city changes. Rooftop bars light up, night markets buzz with energy, and beachside fire shows make it feel like a holiday that never ends.#travel #uptomejourney
Exploring the Soul of Bangkok by Water
#bangkok If you want to see the real heart of Bangkok, get on the river.
A boat ride along the Chao Phraya River is more than just a scenic tour — it’s a journey through time. As you glide past glittering temples, bustling piers, and peaceful local neighborhoods, you realize Bangkok isn’t just a city of skyscrapers — it’s a city of contrast, culture, and flow.
I stopped at landmarks like Wat Arun, Grand Palace, and Pak Khlong Talad (the flower market), but what I loved most were the in-between moments: monks on morning ferries, kids waving from wooden homes, the golden glow of sunset hitting the water.
Whether you’re on a tourist boat, a long-tail ride, or just hopping local ferries — Bangkok by river feels quieter, deeper, and somehow more alive.#travel #uptomejourney
Bangkok at Night
#thailandtrip By day, Bangkok is busy and bold.
But by night — it’s something else entirely.
As the sun sets, the heat softens, and the city transforms. Neon lights flicker on, rooftop bars start to fill, and street food stalls send the scent of grilled meats and spicy noodles drifting through the air.
I wandered through Asiatique by the river, watched the skyline from a rooftop in Sathorn, and grabbed a late-night bowl of boat noodles from a hidden local spot. Every corner felt alive, but never rushed.
Temples like Wat Arun glow peacefully across the river, while the buzz of night markets like Ratchada keeps the energy high. There’s music, laughter, and a kind of magic that only Bangkok nights can bring.#travel #bangkok #uptomejourney
Shanghai Diaries
#shanghai Shanghai is one of those cities that leaves a mark — vibrant, sleek, and full of contrast.
One moment you’re standing on The Bund, gazing at futuristic skyscrapers across the river. The next, you’re sipping tea in a quiet courtyard hidden inside Yuyuan Garden. This city balances tradition and innovation so naturally, it’s almost surreal.
The skyline? Breathtaking — especially at night when Lujiazui lights up like a sci-fi movie.
The food? Unforgettable — from street-side dumplings to high-end xiaolongbao.
The energy? Nonstop — but never overwhelming.
Shanghai isn’t just modern — it’s alive.
With fashion, history, art, tech, and a pulse that never really slows down.#travel #uptomejourney
Wat Arun: The Temple with Every Sunrise
#thailand Among Bangkok’s many temples, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) stands quietly but majestically by the Chao Phraya River — a symbol of light, peace, and timeless grace.
Unlike the gold-covered temples Thailand is famous for, Wat Arun’s charm lies in its intricate details. Up close, the towering central prang (spire) is covered in thousands of pieces of colored porcelain, forming floral mosaics that shimmer in the sun. It’s not just beautiful — it’s art.
I visited in the early morning. The air was still cool, the city hadn’t fully woken up, and Wat Arun glowed gently in the soft light of dawn. It felt calm. Peaceful. Almost sacred. I didn’t expect to feel so grounded, but being there slowed everything down — in a good way.
Climbing the steep steps gave me a different perspective — of the river, the city, and somehow even of myself. It’s not just a temple; it’s a moment. A pause in the middle of chaos.

Vietnam’s Coastal Gem
#vietnamtrip Da Nang is often called Vietnam’s rising star — and I finally get why.
This coastal city offers the perfect mix of beaches, mountains, culture, and calm.
I started my day with sunrise at My Khe Beach, soft sand beneath my feet and barely anyone around. It’s quiet, clean, and surprisingly peaceful — ideal for those who want a break from city chaos.
Then I headed to the iconic Ba Na Hills — a mountain resort with cooler air, colorful architecture, and of course, the Golden Bridge held by giant stone hands. It may be famous on Instagram, but it’s truly stunning in person.
For culture, Marble Mountains and Linh Ung Pagoda brought balance — peaceful, spiritual, and beautifully local. And in the evenings, Da Nang’s riverside lit up with bridges, night markets, and street food stalls offering fresh seafood, banh xeo, and strong Vietnamese coffee.
Da Nang isn’t as hectic as Hanoi, nor as touristy as Ho Chi Minh City.
It feels like a quiet confidence — a city that doesn’t try too hard, because it doesn’t need to.#travel #uptomejourney
Sun, Sea, and Everything in Croatia
#croatianislands Summer in Croatia is like stepping into a postcard — only better.
The Adriatic Sea sparkles under the sun, ancient stone towns come alive, and every sunset feels like a personal gift.
I spent my days island hopping from Hvar to Korčula, swimming in crystal-clear waters and sipping wine by the sea.
In Dubrovnik, the heat didn’t stop me from getting lost in the old city, walking the walls, and watching the orange rooftops glow at golden hour.
The vibe? Relaxed but full of energy.
Locals are friendly, the beaches are stunning, and every meal feels like something to slow down for — fresh seafood, olives, cheese, and wine that makes you forget what day it is.
If you’re chasing sunshine, salty air, and simple happiness…
Croatia in summer is everything.

Easy to Fall in Love With Croatia
#croatianislands Croatia wasn’t high on my travel list—until I actually went.
And now? I can’t stop thinking about it.
I started in Dubrovnik, where the old city walls and deep-blue sea made me feel like I was walking through a storybook. Then came Split, full of Roman ruins and coastal charm. The seafood was so fresh it barely needed seasoning, and the wine? Unexpectedly delightful.
But what stayed with me most was the peace.
It’s quieter than most Western European cities, but full of character and kind faces.
If you’re looking for a getaway that’s simple, soulful, and stunning—Croatia might just surprise you like it did me.#travel #uptomejourney

Malta: History and Sea
#summerbudgettrip Irecently visited Malta and had an incredible experience overall. The island is absolutely stunning, with a perfect mix of historical sites, beautiful beaches, and charming towns. Valletta, Mdina, and the Three Cities were highlights — so much rich history packed into small, walkable areas. The architecture is gorgeous, and everywhere you go feels like stepping into the past.
The beaches and the Blue Lagoon were breathtaking, with crystal-clear water ideal for swimming and snorkeling. We also took a day trip to Gozo, which felt quieter and even more relaxed than the main island — well worth the ferry ride.
Food was another major highlight: fresh seafood, pastizzi, rabbit stew, and excellent Mediterranean flavors. The people were welcoming and helpful, and English is widely spoken, making it easy to get around.
Overall, Malta is a perfect destination if you’re looking for a mix of culture, history, nature, and relaxation. I’m already thinking about going back!

Christmas Night in Yokohama
#cityplaybook I had the chance to celebrate Christmas 🎄 at Yokohama Port at night, and I have to say—it was freezing! 🥶Since the event was held by the waterfront, every time the wind blew, it felt like I was about to freeze to death. But still, it was a unique experience. There were food trucks where you could grab something to eat and enjoy it right there, along with drinks, and there were also selling souvenirs and other goods. 🎁
