I have only lived in the Philippines for 13 years! I have traveled to many places, but this is a place that even my local Filipino friends have a hard time visiting. If you take a small shuttle from the capital, Manila, for 14 hours, you will see the mountain where the village is located, and if you take a 40-minute ride up the mountain, you will see a small village called Buscalai located very high up in the mountain. You can experience a signature tattoo of Apo Wangwood (who is over 100 years old and a human cultural asset of the Philippines) and a tattoo containing Philippine culture and history! The taste of the coffee that is only available there is also very good, so I highly recommend experiencing it. I went on a package tour and spent 2 nights and 3 days with a friend, and I was able to see many amazing landscapes. We went over the weekend, and the timing was really good, so we were able to see a traditional Filipino wedding in Buscalan, where they slaughtered a huge bull and barbecued it. The fog that you see every morning and the rice farm on the mountain!
