The story behind it is super cool — run by former baristas from Shanghai’s OPS team who decided to start fresh here in Guangzhou! 🫘 They offer a wide variety of coffee beans, all roasted and sourced through their own channels — very professional. A unique touch? They’re also making chocolate beans in-house, clearly exploring a wider specialty path! ☕ I ordered the “Double Small Combo”: a mini Americano + a mini milk coffee You can choose from 3 espresso bean options: • Two Ethiopia SOEs (Single Origin Espresso) • One rich house blend Only the SOE beans are available for combo, so I went with the Ethiopia Sidamo. 📝 Tasting notes: • Mini Americano had bright red cherry and berry notes — very refreshing • Mini milk coffee was made with a touch of coconut milk, adding natural sweetness and a silky smooth texture 🧊 Their signature drinks are super creative too — you can choose single origin beans for them, which reminds me of the thoughtful touches back at OPS. 💰 Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality. 🌴 And I absolutely loved the open-style layout — perfect for this tropical-feeling city. #guangzhouguide Not in Suzhou! This is Guangzhou’s version of a classical garden!! A dessert shop hidden in a garden — the traditional Chinese courtyard style is so photogenic! So obsessed with the soft, chewy bites!! The taro mochi with stretchy filling and black glutinous rice tangyuan are both delicious… The crab roe noodles and crab meat soup dumplings are incredibly fragrant too!!! Sit by the window and enjoy the view of boats gliding down the Lychee Bay creek 🚣🏻 After eating, you can also stroll around the nearby Liwan Lake Park! #guangzhouguide and you will arrive at the gorgeous 清远 古龙峡 (GuLong Gorge) a wonderful day trip out from the hustle and bustle of the city. 古龙峡 is a paid entry attraction. We paid about 20SGD for entry and up the glass sky bridge. I highly recommend getting the tickets that include the flying car as well(there are 2 flying car) to come down. - Not elderly friendly as there are pretty much steps but definitely a worthwhile experience to go enjoy. We set off at 9am from GuangZhou city by Didi (destination ：古龙峡 Visitor Center). The car journey was about 40+ minutes without traffic jam. Bought tickets at the entrance. I forgotten the ticket cost but its around 20SGD for the basics (entrance + glass bridge) and 40+SGD for inclusion of the flying car- like luge. After purchasing your tickets, head in and wait for a free shuttle bus to bring you up. 3 adults spent about 4 hours inside the attraction taking photos and walking. Wear proper shoes. And there’s also a food court and a few restaurants outside the attraction. Plenty of food options. There is river rafting in summer too. Prepare poncho for it if you are attempting. Overall a great day trip out. 😃 and very beautiful waterfalls

#guangzhouguide 💞Reasons to Recommend: It has got to be the best flea market I have ever visited in Seoul. It is close to Dongmyo station and just stroll for a few minutes will arrive here. The most interesting part of this market is that they sell cheap branded clothes, antiques and anything vintage. It was also has deep historical roots dating back to the Joseon Dynasty. 🏖️Ambiance/Facilities: The market were huge and I found that many old folks seller here. Located nearby a shrine where I could take beautiful pictures there. i love their thrift thing and got many choices too. While it once offered a unique blend of history and contemporary art, travelers should note its current inactive status and check for any updates before planning a visit.

The most classic version is the fatty pork claypot rice. As the saying goes: “As autumn arrives, it’s time for fatty pork.” In the fall and winter, you can really taste the fragrance of the oil. The aroma of the fatty pork and sausage fully infuses into the rice. The rice grains are fine and slender, so they absorb the juices really well. 👍 If you don’t stir the rice right away when it’s served, you’ll get a beautiful golden crispy rice crust at the bottom of the pot — so fragrant and delicious! It’s simply a joy to eat on a sunny day — with every bite, the crispy rice crackles in your mouth 😋😋 The shop also offers many other kinds of claypot rice: meat patty, pork chop, mushroom chicken, beef, etc. I tried the preserved veggie lean pork rice for takeaway — it was fragrant, and the lean pork slices were tender and tasty. If you find the flavor a bit plain, you can add their shrimp paste 🦐 and chili sauce 🌶️ — both handmade by the shop. The chili is not the usual Cantonese mild version, so be careful when adding! The shrimp paste is intense and goes perfectly with a bowl of white rice! So if you want to dine in, come early~ The shop even posted a guide to the best way to eat claypot rice.Follow it and you’ll definitely enjoy a fragrant and satisfying claypot rice experience 😍

Spent two days in Guangzhou in the beginning of our trip to China, and unfortunately stuck indoors most of the time due to the rain. Even so we managed to enjoy some good food and specialties of Guangzhou. 侨美食家 (several branches across Guangzhou) ♡ 红烧乳鸽 (roasted pigeon) - best combination of crispy skin and tender meat 啫八 (specialising in claypot dishes) ♡ 啫蚝烙 （oyster pancake) - savory and full of seafood and plump oysters ♡ 咸蛋黄啫凉瓜 - great crunch and flavor from the salted egg yolk ♡ 啫黄鳝 - bit of kick from the chilli, great paired with white rice 荔银肠粉 ♡ 红米肠 - classic dish in Guangzhou, loved the mix of soft and crunch textures ♡ 肠粉 - options for various filings available to try Tip: If possible, download and always check Dianping app when dining out as these restaurants commonly have certain set offers or discounted rates there. #guangzhouguide #foodie
