Hidden Gem in Saigon – Stoker Restaurant on Mac Thi Buoi
If you're looking for a stylish yet cozy place to dine in the heart of Saigon, Stoker on Mac Thi Buoi Street is a great choice. Located in District 1, the restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere with warm lighting, elegant decor, and a touch of modern charm.
Their menu features a mix of Western and Asian-inspired dishes. I highly recommend the grilled salmon with miso butter – perfectly cooked and rich in flavor. The pasta with truffle cream is also a standout. Their signature cocktails are creative and well-balanced – especially the one with lemongrass and gin.
The service is excellent. Staff are friendly, professional, and quick to offer helpful suggestions. I also appreciate the calm and refined vibe – perfect for a dinner date, a business meal, or a casual night out with friends.

A Chill Day in Ho Chi Minh City – Coffee, Color & Colonial Charm
#cityplaybook
Ho Chi Minh City is full of energy, but if you take things slow, you’ll find a softer side—one that’s full of color, coffee, and quiet corners. It’s a great place to wander, café-hop, and take in some seriously beautiful architecture.
One of the highlights was Tân Định Catholic Church, a bright pink beauty that looks like it’s straight out of a dream. Not far from there is the Saigon Central Post Office, with French colonial details and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to linger.
For a coffee break, I stopped at Cộng Coffee. The retro military-inspired decor and creamy coconut coffee made for the perfect afternoon recharge.
I stayed at Fusion Suites Saigon, a cozy and modern hotel with spa vibes and floor-to-ceiling windows. Waking up to sunlight and the buzz of the city below was such a treat.
Why I recommend Ho Chi Minh City:
・It’s a place where every corner has something to discover—from architecture to amazing coffee
・The pace can be fast, but if you slow down, there’s so much to love

Good Day Coffee Shop in Ho Chi Minh City's Most Interesting Building
The building is famous for the fact that in every window there is a coffee shop. We walked around all the floors and chose this, there was a beautiful interior, tasty (as if everywhere in Vietnam), coffee and a stunning view from a high floor. From the nuances of the elevator in this building is paid)) but walking along the steps is useful for health)))

Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s City That Never Sleeps
Buzzing scooters, rooftop cafés, colorful markets, and food on every corner — Saigon is chaos in the best possible way. The energy is electric, the people are warm, and every street has a story. One minute you’re in a French colonial building, the next you’re sipping iced coffee next to a skyscraper.
Fast-paced, flavorful, and full of contrast — that’s the magic of Saigon.

Ho Chi Min - April
Exploring the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City was such a memorable experience! From the chaotic charm of Ben Thanh Market to the calm serenity of Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, this city offers a beautiful blend of history, culture, and flavor.
One tip? Don’t miss out on a traditional Vietnamese coffee at one of the local cafés — rich, strong, and unforgettable! I stayed near Nguyen Hue Walking Street, which made it easy to walk to key attractions.
For an authentic food adventure, hop on a motorbike food tour at night — it’s thrilling and delicious!

Recap of a 7-day Vietnam trip, walking 120,876 steps.
🌄 Sapa: “It’s so cold my face is so oily and my pores are gone like I’ve applied a filter!”
The fog is thick and the view is amazing, but it’s so cold that I have to walk fast or else I might freeze to death in the middle of the mountain. My walking steps are like a pro because I’m afraid of the cold!
🏔️ Fansipan: “It’s like going to heaven in a Chinese movie, but I have no energy, only stiff legs and a shaky breath!”
The way up is so brutal that I have to bring a lot of courage, but when I reach the top, the view of white clouds and blue skies and cool wind is so awesome, like a scene from a fairy tale that came out of a movie screen.
🏘️ Hanoi: “This city has two things: strong coffee and crossing the street is so exciting!”
Walking around is like being lost in an 80s film set. It’s crowded with people, the streets are busy, the coffee is strong, but the pace of life is so slow that time seems to have stopped.
📸 Ho Chi Minh City: “It’s like a photo studio. People bring their own photographers, lightboxes, and reflectors!”
Every street corner is a photoshoot. The light is so good that you don’t need to edit the picture. People walk by with their own photographers, lightboxes, and reflectors. It's like everyone was born to be a model in this city.
7 days, 4 cities, 120,876 steps, tiring but satisfying! Took so many photos that my memory card was full, walked so much that I had to buy new shoes, but I have to say it was worth it beyond words!

Art lover’s must visit in Ho Chi Minh city
This museum showcases a stunning collection of Vietnamese modern art, including paintings by renowned artists like Nguyen Gia Tri, and hidden female painters like Le Thi Luu.
The french influenced colorful colonial-era architecture adds charm, while every corner of the museum features Vietnamese paintings, sculptures, and culture.
The place is serene and uncrowded, which makes it perfect for art enthusiasts. I will return for the rich cultural insight and the chance to meet evocative works by pioneering Vietnamese female artists.

โฮจิมินห์ (Ho Chi Min) ประเทศเวียดนาม 🇻🇳
Ho Chi Minh City, or some people know it as Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam. It is located in the southern part of the country.
For those who are looking for a tourist destination not far from Thailand and with affordable prices, most importantly, delicious food, and are looking for a place to shop for trendy clothes, I recommend Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It has it all. I personally like the food a lot, both Vietnamese food, seafood, and desserts. Everything is delicious and tasty. Just talking about it makes me want to go again. 😋
🏨 & 🚗 Accommodation and transportation:
Very good. I like it very much. The accommodation price is very cheap. The service is good. The transportation is convenient. You can call a car through Grab, the same app as in Thailand. And the price is very reasonable.
This time, I stayed at Wink Hotel Saigon. The room is spacious, clean, the staff is kind, the food is delicious, and most importantly, the price is not expensive. I highly recommend this place.
🍲 Food: I recommend Ngon Restaurant. The food is delicious and there are many menus. Or if you are looking for a nem nuong restaurant, I recommend Nem nướng nia. It's very delicious. And what you can't miss when coming to Ho Chi Minh City is the shellfish and seafood. It's amazing.

Independence Palace
#asiatrip
Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, is a must-visit landmark in Ho Chi Minh City. This historic site played a crucial role during the Vietnam War, famously marking the end of the conflict when a North Vietnamese tank crashed through its gates on April 30, 1975. The palace’s architecture is a blend of traditional Vietnamese and modernist styles, offering a glimpse into the past with its preserved state rooms and war command bunkers. The surrounding gardens provide a peaceful contrast to the palace’s storied history. A visit here offers a profound insight into Vietnam’s journey towards reunification. #IndependencePalace #HoChiMinhCity #Vietnam
HCMC trip as a Hanoian, why not?
It’s only my second time in HCMC and regrettably it was quite short again, but I had fun exploring new cafes and restaurants I was never able to try out before. The weather was quite a let down but I love the place. The city is so robust and dynamic, it’s always changing, always something new under development. Once the skytrain system is finished, I bet it’ll be any different from Bangkok 😆

🇻🇳 HCMC Water Puppet Show
#folkactivities #100WaysOfTravel
I have been to Ho Chi Minh city many times but this my first time coming to a water puppet show. This is one of the top tourist attractions to do in HCMC and it is an old traditional art performance. The show talks about the culture and heritage using the puppets controlled by humans submerged inside water. You can find tickets to Golden Dragon Water Puppet show. It does get somewhat boring after a while watching this show but try to watch it with an open mind and appreciate the hard work. This show is about 45 minutes and it is great to be able to enjoy traditional performances.

Beautiful design
I loved the way barista collective was put together with those antique and rustic vibes. These old, almost heritage like buildings have such a beautiful quality to them. The interior is sleek and contemporary, with an open layout that allows you to see the baristas at work, emphasizing the café’s focus on transparency and the art of coffee making.
The staff is highly skilled and knowledgeable, always ready to share their passion for coffee and recommend the perfect drink to suit your taste. In addition to coffee, the café also offers a selection of pastries and light bites, making it a great spot for a quick breakfast, an afternoon break, or a casual meetup with friends. I loved spending my time here.
