Visited Wong Tai Sin, Jordon, Tsim Sha Tsui, K11, Mongkok, Kai Tak, Kowloon, Keneedy town .. etc. Enjoyed good food and met nice ppl. I will come back again one day. After work on Friday night, I went to this charming French bistro in Sheung Wan, Chakan Street, for dinner. Although it's a bit far from the subway station, the unique decor and great atmosphere make up for it. We started with a glass of red wine and some bread. The Niçoise Onion Anchovy Olive Tartine, although called a tartine, is actually a crispy baked bread. The sweet onions combined with the salty anchovies make a perfect match. Japanese Shimeji Mushroom Tart This dish was outstanding. The tart crust was flaky and crispy, topped with a generous amount of mushrooms. Underneath the mushrooms were finely chopped mushroom bits, providing two different textures. It was incredibly fragrant, and the creamy special sauce drizzled on top made it irresistible. Chicory Salad The presentation resembled a blooming flower, very beautiful! Inside were cherry tomatoes, walnuts, cheese, and chicory. The chicory had a slight bitterness, but when paired with the sweetness of the fragrant pear, it was very refreshing overall. French Pan-Seared Whole Sole The presentation wasn't very appealing because the sole looked a bit intimidating! The waiter deboned the fish after we took a photo and then served it. The fish was tender, juicy, and very fragrant. If you love fish, you must try this. The creamy spinach was tender and green, and the large potatoes were filling. It was a creative main course combination! Apricot Tart with Pistachio Sorbet The apricots were sweet and fragrant, and the pistachio ice cream was rich. The highlight was the tart crust, which was flaky and crispy, very well done. This small bistro truly embodies the French style. Every dish is beautifully presented and surprisingly delicious. Over the weekend, I went to Causeway Bay with friends to watch the latest alien movie. Before watching the movie, I had lunch at the nearby Shinko Japanese Izakaya. Because we have visited the branch in Mong Kok before, we found the comfortable and spacious environment impressed. The Causeway Bay branch is equally convenient and easy to find, located right across the street from SOGO upstairs shop. The deep restaurant is decorated with wood colors and is decorated with Japanese ornaments. Located upstairs you can enjoy your meal time quietly. This time in Hong Kong, instead of staying in the city, I stayed at a beautiful hotel to enjoy the sea view~ @goldcoasthotel The azure sky and the tranquil sea are especially intoxicating. During my journey to finding things to see and do in Hong Kong, I was starting to feel a little peckish after walking around for some time. I stumbled into the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center and took a peek at some of the lunch offerings. That's when I stopped at the Harbour Road Cafe, a quiet and cozy spot within the convention center. I walked inside to see a neat wall of coffer makers, lots of big seating spaces, and a comfy couch for me to sit on. I sat quietly and ate my lunch. What really makes HK pleasant is that the staff I've approached thus far friendly, professional, and accommodating. It always makes my travels there extra special. Ngong Ping Village is one famous tourist destination in Hong Kong. This is 1.5-hectare open-air village & shopping area with restaurants & cultural performances. If you come from Central, ride MTR going to Tung Chung station. Then just walk a lil bit and take a cable car going to the island, two kind of choices, standard or crystal cabin. If you are afraid of heights, dnt take the crystal because you will pass across big mountains and sea levels. Different prices also. If you feel you cant ride this cable cars, then take a road trip because there are also buses going there. Things to do here, shopping, hiking going up to Big Buddha, shopping, picture taking, and trying to taste chinese foods in some restaurants. Have u already met Panda at Ocean Park HongKong? Been lucky to see them coz our previous visit was not able to take pic with them coz they were sleeping, but now look!! They are busy eating their fave meal, bamboo!!😊☺️😍 *How to go there? The fastest transpo is thru Mtr, just find on the map go to ocean park. The other way is tru bus, and it depends where u came from, different bus numbers too. *Entrance fee: u can avail at entrance, adult is 388 Hkd and for kids 233hkd.
