This temple is a Buddhist Temple in Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. It was built by Lim Goh Tong who founding of Genting Highland. This temple was finished in 1994. Chin Swee Temple provide beautiful scenery and best time to visit it is in the morning between 9 AM to 11 AM. To visit here, you can ride cable car from awana skyway or skyavenue. The fare ticket is 10 RM for one way. Chin Swee Temple is a Taoist temple, a place of worship for Buddhists, located in Genting Highland, Pahang, Malaysia. With an area of ​​around 28 hectares, this forest land was donated by the founders of the Genting Group. Visitors who come to this temple are free of charge. To get to the temple we had to go down a fairly long escalator, if I'm not mistaken there were 8 escalators going down. Even though it's free, everything is well maintained, clean and the air is cool, minimal pollution. Awesome view of temple & within easy reach via the cable car ride. A must visit if you are at Genting. There’s also a vegetarian restaurant that serves nice vegetarian food & price is considered reasonable. Seems there’s also rooms available at Chin Swee itself but I didn’t get to find out on that. Climb up the 8 floors within the temple and you can catch a good view surrounding the temple. Get some fresh air before coming down, cos I think you’ll need it. As a history I know, it is for prayers who is Taoist. #staycation Place - Goh Tong Hall Residence Location - Chin Swee Caves Temple Building Address - Exit 68, Genting Sempah, Pahang, 28750 Bentong Ambience - Tranquil Pricing - RM66-RM172 For our year-end #staycation this year, we decided to do a spiritual retreat at Chin Swee Caves Temple and we spent 12 days at Goh Tong Hall Residence. It’s a minimalist hostel but has all the amenities we need in a room. While there isn’t a tv which we think it’s so appropriate so that we can fully be immersed in our religious/meditative break. The room is naturally cooled with a ceiling fan which we didn’t need to switch on most of the time. Most importantly there’s hot shower and hot water tap. The hostel has just reopened to accept devotees hence the mattresses are very new and firm. The room is very clean too. We got a nice room which is facing the nature outside. There’s a vegetarian restaurant hence we do not need to worry about eating clean 🌱 during our religious retreat. We had our religious study at the meditation hall at level 6. There are also 2 Taoist temples at level 7 and level G. This is my first visit and will not be the last. #staycation #genting #chinsweetemple #retreat

Found this gelato van/bus which serves very nice ice-cream. They even offer complimentary tasting and we got to try all the flavours available. The boss, Kenneth, is so generous. We love their MSW ice-cream. It’s thick and fragrant. Can really taste its originality. Highly recommend the Affogato. D24 durian with a cup of expresso over it.
