Zhejiang Wonderland: Waterfall, Glass Bridge, Temple, Pagoda
Tiantaishan in Zhejiang Province has a lot of variety in a relatively compact area. The two main attractions are the Tiantaishan Waterfall and the Guoqing Temple with its iconic pagoda.
The combo ticket (165 RMB) for the Tiantaishan Waterfall and Qiongtai Fairy Canyon (天台山大瀑布,琼台仙谷) will allow you to do a complete circuit of both areas.
I started at the waterfall. After taking photos at the base, I hiked up the waterfall and around the top of Qiongtai Fairy Canyon on a plank walk. The hike includes passage across the glass bridge. I then hiked down to the river at the canyon bottom. Took me about 4-5 hours total with plenty of time stopping to take photos.
Then I took a cab to Guoqing Temple (国清寺). Entrance is free. I spent about 2-3 hours wandering around the grounds and through the temple buildings.

Cheeky West Lake Squirrels; Hangzhou
Taking a stroll around the world famous West Lake in Hangzhou is a must for any visitor.
It’s highly recommended to take a boat cruise out on the lake or enjoy a lovely tea package at one of the many tea houses dotted along this lake.
I notice there’s a crowd standing around a tree looking up, so I sidled up to see what the big attraction was.
West Lakes trees has many squirrels living in their canopy and they’re so used to tourists now they will actually climb down the trunk to be hand fed.
For someone that doesn’t have these adorable critters in their home country it’s a fantastic photo opportunity and experience. The area itself is very photogenic and the boat cruise will provide wonderful memories.#westlakehangzhou #squirrel #zhejiang
Truely the most beautiful city in China
#chinatrip
Historically referred to as the most beautiful or even poetically compared with the heavens. Hangzhou is indeed the most beautiful city in China. Several factors work for it. As with most of the Zhejiang province, there is abundant natural beauty. Hangzhou, rightly the capital of this province is not short of beautiful spots.
A mere change in seasons and color of the trees. The colors of Hangzhou transform. West lake is charming through out the year and a stroll past here never fails. While the lack of it's own cuisine or impressive food is well known with Hangzhou. You are never short of food options with cuisines from all over china.
Hangzhou has a distinct vibe that is made up of a young and vibrant crowd of people who have come here from various parts of China. And amongst the tier 1 cities, it is also the most affordable. Worthy of a visit.#chinatrip #cityholiday #nature #memorable_trip #zhejiang #flowerlover #beautiful

The whole lake is a wonderful place to spend time.West Lake is the only lake heritage site in China. UNESCO describes it as “has influenced garden design in the rest of China as well as Japan and Korea over the centuries” and “reflecting an idealized fusion between humans and nature”. If you come to Hangzhou, don't miss the opportunity to walk and visit the West Lake! #discoverchina #zhejiang #westlakehangzhou
Wuzhen Jiangnan Water Town
The first impression of Jiangnan is probably the small bridges and flowing water. Among all the ancient towns in Jiangnan, Wuzhen is the top of the ancient towns in my mind.
Blue bricks and black tiles, the alley is deep and heart-warming. Regardless of rain or shine, as long as you step here and walk around on the bluestone slabs, you will feel as if you have seen the past and present of Wuzhen.
A must-experience cruise in Wuzhen is perfect for seeing the beautiful scenery from a different angle!
The night in Xizha is completely different from the day.
Whether you are sitting quietly by the river or walking along Walking in the ancient town. Just make sure me comfortable.

Lovely stay in Zhejiang
location : 丁卯桥路689号(亚太五金电器城)
This is hangting hotel in Zhejiang . The hotel is a bit tricky to find but not so difficult if you use navigation or a car . Prices are affordable and range between 200 RMB and 300 RMB . The staff are very helpful and polite . Rooms are neat and smell nice . There was enough space to move around in the room.It is a fairly new building so the facilities are well maintained. If you don’t mind being a bit away from the city center then you can choose to reside in this hotel . #zhejiang #hotelstaycation

Hefang Street: Where Culture meets history ✨
#visithangzhou The street was built during the Southern Song Dynasty, a time when Hangzhou was the capital of Zhejiang Province.
The street is a popular attraction in Hangzhou filled with shops offering traditional snacks and food 🍜 as well as the famous Longjing tea 🍵 . This is also the perfect place to shop for Chinese style gifts 🪭 and souvenirs 🎐
It’s also a beautiful place for gazing at artisans at work with various types of traditional Chinese handicrafts 🖌️ such as calligraphy, paper cutting, painting 🖼️
Hefang street is also home to so many coffee shops ☕️ which are great spots to take a break from walking around. I also recommend checking out Hu Qing Tang, the biggest TCM pharmacy established since 1987 🫚

#visithangzhou A historical street at the intersection of three rivers lined with ancient Chinese style neighbourhoods🏮
Xiaohe Zhijie traces the waterside lifestyle of the late Qing Dynasty & the early Republic of China 🇨🇳
Not a popular place some years ago, it became gradually commercialised with a plethora of coffee shops ☕️, restaurants 🍜& handicrafts 🪭 A charming contrast of the old v/s the new!
I highly recommend adding it to your Hangzhou itinerary 👌🏼It’s such a vibrant place which is also gorgeous at night with the lanterns lit 🏮✨

Colours of Spring in Hangzhou 💐
Blessed with the warm spring days lately, but also the beautiful blossoms popping up in parks across the city. It was my first time catching the colours of the spring blossoms at Linping Park & it was lovely 🌹🌷🌸✨ The park has a nursery as you walk up with different variety of flowers, each colourful & gorgeous.
It’s the perfect spring picture spot 📸 I’d highly recommend arriving very early. This part of the park is where most people flock for pictures 🙈 It’s extremely packed there on the weekends especially in the afternoon 🫣 Go very early and you won’t have to despair for a picture spot 😉

Wuzhen, the Night Queen of Zhejiang
Wuzhen is one of the six famous ancient water towns south of the Yangtze River. It’s within the triangle formed by three top tourist cities: Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou. It has charmingly restored architecture and canals. The charm and the elegance of this ancient water town is undeniable. It is more than 1000 years old town with rich history and architectural elegance. It is about an hour long drive from Suzhou, China. This place is vast and suggested plan would be two days of itinerary with one overnight. You can at least leave with some satisfactions. If you don't try the boat, well your visit here is meaning less. Entrance ticket is 150 rmb and boat ticket one way is 60 rmb per person. Yes, it is bit expensive though but for a AAAAA tourist place, this amount is worth spending.

Huzhou is known for its numerous historical sites, many of which are still very well preserved. Its built on the water with an amazing architectural design. #mytripvlog #zhejiang #huzhou
Camping and Hiking in 2 days⛰️🏞️🌄
Zhejiang is very famous for its outstanding Mountain View’s and bamboo forests.
Best part about trips there is it’s just 4-5 hours from center of Shanghai.
Why I always visit this area?
Pleasant weather and stunning mountain scenery.
In summer while most of cities in China like Shanghai are suffering from heat, Zhejiang area is still pleasant.
It’s one of the best places to visit not only in summer, but also spring and autumn.

1-Day Hanfei River Hiking
Cool autumn river hiking was organized by one of travel groups in Shanghai.
12 km of walking, discovering new villages, rocks, canyons and giant rocks. . Scenery is breathtaking.
It takes only 4 hours from Shanghai by bus to get there and enjoy nature.
Good reason to leave noisy Shanghai and spend all day close to mountains with nice people.
We were very lucky with weather that day: not cold, not hot. #weekendtrip #zhejiang #hiking #hikingtrails #hikingadventures
Enchanting West Lake in Hangzhou
Sightseeing around the West Lake of Hangzhou has been absolutely enchanting, even with the almost freezing temperature!
The North and East sides are more commercial, you can find several shops and restaurants... here you can look at the beautiful scenery while sipping your coffe ☕️
The West and South sides are more natural and quiet, recommend if you prefer to be surrounded by calm nature 🌿
Circumnavigating the entire lake in a day (walking and biking) was a lot of exercise...but I have been rewarded with some of the most beautiful sights of this province 😍
A truly beautiful day ❤️☀️🚣🏻

Rural Staycation in the Mountain ⛰️
This is the best staycation I had this year and can’t recommend it enough to anyone who wants to escape from the city for some time! Zhinan is located in the mountains of Lin’an county, part of Hangzhou city. I happened to go there for a weekend during fall and it was much better than what we expected with my friend. This village is so peaceful with epic views on the mountains and paddy fields. Most buildings are guest houses with restaurants whilst others are mostly shops selling local specialities. We stayed at a guesthouse for two nights. Everyone was so friendly there! Every corner was beautiful and the views are so soothing! In need of a dose of fresh air and nature, this is the place to go! 🌿🌳🍃👍🏼
Address ➡️ Zhinan, 指南村
How to go ➡️ My friend and I took a taxi from Lin’an Baolong shopping mall to the village. It took about an hour to reach.

Epic Paddy Field Views in Fall 🌾💛
The paddy fields in Zhinan village were defo the highlight of my fall this year. They’re located right at the entrance of the village surrounded by many viewpoints for tourists. You can walk through the fields and venture further at ease! The views were breathtaking and so worth it! I spent a weekend in the village and explored this part on a Saturday. It was crowded, but this place is so big that you can easily find spots without people to take pictures 📸💛

Coffee & Mountain View❓Hell Yes 🧡
On a fall weekend getaway in Zhinan, the one and only coffee shop of the village was so lovely 🍁 It’s at the very beginning of the village and is beautifully decorated with maple leaves in and out! The outdoor seats have a gorgeous view on the mountains ⛰️ It’s also a small business shop where you can buy tea, cute notebooks and a bunch of handmade products such as jewellery, Chinese fans, scarfs etc… Most of the souvenirs are Maple leaf themed with surprisingly, very affordable prices. I bought a handmade Chinese fan, a ring and a pair of earrings for 148¥.
There’s coffee and tea with prices ranging from 20 -38¥. I had the wind leaf latte while my friend had the americano in the morning and white tea in the afternoon. They were all good 😊 The shop owners were so friendly and welcoming 🧡 Highly recommended checking it out!
