Temple Hopping in Chiang Mai: Wat Rajamontean 🇹🇭⛩️
If you're planning to go temple hopping in Chiang Mai, Wat Rajamontean is definitely worth a stop! It’s conveniently located just across the road from Wat Lok Moli 🛕, making it super easy to explore both in one trip.
The temple’s detailed golden carvings ✨, the impressive Naga staircase 🐉, and the grand seated Buddha 🪷 create a stunning scene that’s perfect for photography lovers 📸. The beautiful patterns and architecture really shine in photos, and since it’s usually not too crowded, you can take your time capturing the best angles 📷.
Do note that the temple area is not very spacious compared to some of the bigger temples in Chiang Mai. But that also gives it a more intimate and peaceful vibe 🌿, making it a lovely quick stop during your temple hopping adventure.
I enjoyed walking around, soaking in the calm atmosphere 🌸, and taking plenty of photos to remember this beautiful place. Perfect to combine with nearby temples for a relaxed, photogenic day in the city. ⛩️🐉📸✨

Minimalist Vibes at B2S Think Space 📸✨
Found this cute little spot on the top floors of Central Chidlom — B2S Think Space. It’s a small open-space bookstore with a clean and modern design 🧡📚. Not crowded at all, which makes it super chill to walk around 😌🛋️.
Actually I was there to capture some photos as the place caught my eyes 😁
What caught my eye was how photogenic the place is 📷✨. The natural lighting ☀️, wooden shelves 🪵, and neat layout 🧼 give off real minimalist vibes — perfect for snapping a few aesthetic shots without too many people in the background 🙌📸.
A nice hidden corner for some quiet time and cool photos in the middle of the city 🌆💫.

Monkey Madness with a View 🐒🌅 – Khao Sam Muk, Bang Saen
If you're heading to Bang Saen, don’t miss Khao Sam Muk Viewpoint — it’s one of those places I had to revisit every time during my six-month stay. I went to Bang Saen three times, and yep, this spot made the cut every single time!
What makes it special? The sweeping ocean view from the hill is a real treat. Whether you’re driving up or stopping at one of the lookout points, it’s a great place to take a break and enjoy the breeze. 🌬️🌴
But let’s be real — the stars of the show are the monkeys! 🐒 They’re everywhere, climbing trees, sitting on railings, or casually walking across the road like they own the place. You’ll spot locals and visitors alike feeding them bananas, and you can join in too — there are banana stalls along the way where you can grab some to offer. 🍌
Some even feed them from inside their cars, just slightly rolling down the windows. But watch out — these little guys are clever! They might try to follow you or even hang onto your side mirrors. It’s funny and chaotic in the best way 😂
Khao Sam Muk isn’t just a viewpoint — it’s a whole vibe. A mix of sea breeze, monkey business, and laid-back hillside charm. Definitely one of my favorite parts of Bang Saen every time I go.

Hidden Twin Tower Photo Spots in KL – No Crowds, No Stress! ✨🌇
#postandearn
When I visited Kuala Lumpur, my mission was clear:
Take as many stunning photos with the Petronas Twin Towers as possible—but without the crowds and not from the usual spot where everyone gathers (right in front of the towers). 😎
So, I did some research 🧐 and found a few amazing spots that gave me unique angles, a chill vibe, and photo results I absolutely loved:
📍 Saloma Link Bridge
A beautifully designed pedestrian bridge with a fantastic view of the towers. Perfect for photos, especially when it’s quiet!
🌳 KLCC Park
A peaceful green escape right near the towers. You get that perfect combo of nature + skyline, and it’s never too crowded early in the morning.
🚶♀️ Walk from Saloma Link to Twin Towers
This walk is like a hidden photo gem for me! Different angles, cool city backdrops, and best of all—hardly anyone around. Loved the casual vibe!
🍽️ Alva KL Restaurant
Not just a place to eat, but also a stunning rooftop spot with one of the best views of the Twin Towers.
✨ The food? Amazing.
📸 The view? Unmatched—if you get the right table.
⚠️ Make sure to book in advance and request the tables closest to the towers! We didn’t get that 😔 but it was still totally worth the visit.
💡 Travel Tip
Go early in the morning for the best lighting and to avoid the crowd. And if you're planning a rooftop meal, make your reservation early and be specific about your seating request!

I Stepped Onto This Little Island and Fell into a Fairytale World of Color! 🌈✨
#summervacay
Just a short half-hour boat ride from Venice, there's a rainbow island called Burano! 🚤 The moment I stepped onto this incredibly colorful island, my whole mood lifted! This little town isn't very big; you can probably explore it thoroughly in about two hours. It's not as crowded as Venice, and it's mostly local residents, which means you get a much better feel for their way of life and culture. 🏘️💖
Burano is one of Venice's outer islands, and the initial burst of color in this fishing village came purely from the locals! Fishermen working on the water needed to be able to spot their homes from afar, and the bright, vivid colors made the houses much easier to distinguish across the misty lagoon. This helped them find their way home in the right direction! (I thought this story was so adorable when I first heard it! 🥰) Later, the government even made a rule that adjacent houses couldn't be the same color, turning Burano into what looks like a fairytale kingdom built from LEGO blocks! 🏰

The Round Tower | A Hidden Gem in Copenhagen — Photo Heaven! 📸
#summervacay
Located in the city center, the Round Tower is small and unassuming. Entry is free, but climbing to the top requires a separate ticket (60 DKK), and unfortunately, the Copenhagen Card doesn’t cover it.
I was too rushed and didn’t want to pay extra, so I skipped the climb—now I really regret it! The ascent is a gentle spiral ramp, not stairs, making it very easy to climb.
Inside, the design is pure white and minimalist, perfect for photos. Definitely worth the visit and the climb if you have time!

Mangunan Hobbit Park, Yogyakarta
Mangunan Hobbit Park was a nice little stop during my trip to Yogyakarta. The park is small and mainly popular for its photo spots, especially the Hobbit-style houses with their round doors and quirky design. It’s fun for a few quick pictures, but there isn’t much else to do beyond that.
The area is quiet, surrounded by pine trees, and the entrance fee is very affordable. It’s a good place to stretch your legs and snap a few photos if you're already exploring the Mangunan area. Don’t expect a full attraction or long visit—it’s more of a quick, light-hearted detour. Great for families or anyone who enjoys novelty photo ops, but not really a must-see.

Beautiful view at Longmenhao Old Street, Chongqing
Walking through Longmenhao Old Street was like stepping into a living painting.
The moment I arrived, I was struck by the contrast—old buildings with black-tiled roofs and wooden windows lining the street, while just beyond them, the modern skyline of Chongqing shimmered across the Yangtze River. It felt like the past and present were woven into one incredible view.
One of my favorite spots was the Lan Yue Tai (Blue Moon Terrace). Standing there, I had a clear view of the Dongshuimen Bridge stretching across the river, with the Yangtze River Ropeway gliding slowly above the water. As the sun began to set, the whole city started to glow—soft golden light on the buildings, boats cruising along the river, and the sky turning shades of pink and purple. It was magical.
There’s something incredibly calming about the place. Even with people walking around and cafés buzzing, I found moments of stillness just watching the river flow. It made me appreciate how much history this place holds—and how beautifully it connects to the life of the city today.
A Colorful Morning in Phuket Old Town – History, Walls & Quiet Streets
#cityplaybook
Phuket isn’t just beaches—it also has stories to tell. From the 16th to 18th centuries, this island was a hub for tin mining and global trade. Merchants came from Portugal, Holland, and China’s Fujian Province, leaving behind a rich cultural blend that still shapes the city today.
Phuket Old Town is the heart of it all. Lined with colorful shophouses in Sino-Portuguese style, the streets are usually packed with visitors during the day. So I went early—before the shops opened, when everything was still and peaceful.
The pastel buildings were glowing in the soft morning light, and I had the alleys almost to myself. It was the perfect time for photos, especially with the bold wall art tucked between streets. Every corner felt like a little surprise.
Why I recommend Phuket Old Town:
・It’s packed with history and personality—perfect for slow, curious exploration
・The colorful buildings and murals are seriously photogenic (especially in the morning!)

Kunming is crowded? Come to this niche spot to take photos of jacaranda❗️
Why is Fumin Shangheyuan more suitable for photographing jacaranda trees than downtown Kunming?
Just three points: Few people! There are many ancient buildings! Take photos at will!
The jacaranda trees along Kunming Jiaochang Middle Road and along the Panlong River are indeed very popular.
But the huge crowds and traffic,
And those unsightly stalls,
Take a photo whenever you can.
And Fumin Shangheyuan,
A treasure trove hidden in the county town.
The jacarandas bloom densely and low,
The key is that no one is competing with you for the camera spot!
Gray tiles, white walls, carved window edges,
With the blue and purple sea of flowers,
Travel back to ancient times in minutes.
Wear Hanfu, cheongsam or new Chinese style,
Stand in the yard.
No need to add filters!
This year, the jacaranda will bloom until around May 10th.
If you delay any further you will have to wait until next year!
Take advantage of the fact that there are few people and the flowers are blooming.
Hurry up!

Fort Canning Tree Tunnel
Singapore's most popular tree tunnel is another landmark that photography enthusiasts must not miss. It's really crowded, just as its reputation says. When we went, it was drizzling. At around 8:30 in the morning there, there were about 20 people in line. I recommend leaving about 1-2 hours to go to other spots, plus or minus.
Note: The exit next door is also beautiful. Don't forget to stop and take some pictures.
💡Things you should bring with you: a fan because it's really hot in the tunnel. It would be great if you could bring some snacks to eat while you wait, or just eat until you're full.
🩱Dress code: A long, brightly colored dress that you can climb on is recommended. With a wide-brimmed hat, it will be very impressive.
📍Location: Fort Canning Tree Tunnel, pin it on Google map.
🚎 We recommend taking bus no. 64, 139, 65, 175 to get off at the YMCA stop and walk 200m.
🚈 The closest MRT station is Dhoby Ghaut.
Walk another 400m.

Sirao Garden in Cebu is one of the most marvelous and stunning photo spots I have ever seen 🏞️
Preserved and beautiful nature in the background blends with an artistic garden that features lots of artisanal art pieces that which are seamlessly integrating into the nature and are creating a unique photo spot that will guarantee you stunning photos 🏞️
It can be a little bit hard hard to reach since it is on a little mountain outside of the city. So I would recommend to book a guided tour since negotiating with a taxi driver can be a little hard.

🇰🇷 Surprises Await @ Gamcheon Culture Village
#citywalk
Gamcheon Culture Village is probably the most visited and photographed attraction in Busan. Established since 1955, the village started as a collective housing project for refugees. Over the years, it has transformed into a village dedicated to preservation and regeneration of the local community.
We started our journey from the bus stop outside the village. Maps and signposts are available at many parts of the village and do not worry about getting lost. The walk through the winding alleys in the village was full of surprises as we encountered colourful houses and beautifully painted wall murals along the journey. It was a fun and memorable experience for us taking pictures with colourful backdrop at different parts of the village. We also enjoyed checking out the souvenir shops and cool cafes in the village.
