Gamcheon Culture Village, with its rows of colorful terraced houses along the mountainside, is often referred to as 'The Santorini of South Korea' or Busan's Santorini. The village is beautifully decorated with vibrantly-painted murals and interesting sculptures. The alleyways, staircases, and winding streets add an exotic charm, making it a picturesque place for visitors to explore. To get there, take Line 1 to Toseong Station (exit 6). Walk straight, turn right at the first junction onto Kkachigogae-ro, and walk forward 140 meters to reach the bus stop. Take bus Sakha 1/1-1 to Gamcheon Culture Village stop, which takes about 10-15 minutes. After getting off the bus, walk back 30 meters in the direction the bus came from and turn left to reach the entrance of Gamcheon Culture Village. By taxi, it takes about 10 minutes from BIFF Square, Jagalchi Market, or Jagalchi Station; 20 minutes from Busan Station; or 40-45 minutes from Haeundae Beach.
