This is an ideal and peaceful place for meditation. The teaching is conducted in Tibetan by the monk himself, then translated into French and Dutch. Meals are provided in the morning, noon, and evening. The food is simple but delicious and everything is vegetarian. The accommodations vary according to choice. We had a studio for two people with a private bathroom. It was very basic, but everything was there. In my opinion, the price was still a bit high for one night. Especially since you have to clean up yourself when leaving, and preferably volunteer to help in the kitchen, etc. You also have to make your own bed. Don't forget your towel because nothing is provided in the room. That said, I highly recommend this experience, at least once. If I could afford it, I would go more often.

Stayed on Koh Samui for 3 days and 2 nights and I found one of the most paint-like sunsets I’ve seen in my life, absolutely amazing. The food was great no matter where we ate, but our receptionist provided a few really good recommendations- one of the recommendations turned out to be my favorite meal in Thailand to this day. Phousi Hill is a great place to visit during your trip to Luang Prabang. The walk to the top is easy, and along the way, you can enjoy many Buddhas, temples, and beautiful views. Once you reach the top, you will see stunning views of the rivers and the city. Watching the sunset from Phousi Hill is a nice plan, but be aware that it can get crowded, and the area is quite small. If you want to catch the sunset, I recommend arriving at least an hour before the golden hour to find a good spot. This temple got that big golden buddha which you can see from afar, and also houses a stupa with another glass stupa at the 5th level; which i think doesn’t lose to the grandeur of the golden buddha The colours are wonderful, kinda feels other worldly in a sense, the glass stupa, the art on the ceiling, the decors on the wall, it is very grandiose. The stupa also houses a museum display on the lower level 📍how to get here: 🚖Option 1 (what we took going here) : you can take a grab, tho some driver will drop you further out of the complex itself, so walk a bit (following the buddha) cross the bridge and walk on the covered walk on your left to reach the complex. 🚶♀️Option 2 (what we took going back) : MRT Bang Phai After exiting the complex, go on your right (crossing a bridge) and follow the road to the MRT. The best Oriental Buddha Park I have seen in China so far. Most of the people visit Leshan city to see the stunning Leshan Giant Buddha, but just a few of them know about this amazing attraction. The Oriental Buddha Park has a breathtaking scenery. It’s full of Buddhist statues, sculptures and stone carvings. Also, it is surrounded by beautiful and peaceful gardens. One of the most impressive temples in Angkor. I came here in the morning before it opens by my bicycle. It’s great to see how the whole village of Angkor is waking up. You can see motorbikes full of things rushing to work. You can buy sweets from local ladies. And there is no light better than the morning light to enjoy this place. It was very quiet and atmospheric. I could walk around and inside the temple’s labyrinths, observing the architectural masterpiece with four huge stone faces looking down on me from the top.
