This time i visited Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. With final exams being over and a close friend “coincidentally” having some errands to do in Jakarta, me and my friends got the perfect excuse to go on a Jakarta trip. Right after landing, we decided to head towards one-of-my-friend’s top requested Sushi place in Jakarta. Located at the prestigious area of PIK, the taste of the food at this restaurant definitely did not disappoint us. To this date, I think this is still the best Sushi place that I’ve tried in Indonesia. The next day, I was meeting with another friend and decided to grab some lunch at a Thai restaurant. It was pretty decent for a Thai food place in Indonesia. Starting a new day, our group was pretty keen on trying a famous steak restaurant that has a pretty high reputation. When we arrived, the place was pretty full and since we didn’t reserved a table, we weren’t able to grab a spot. Disappointed and hangry, we moved to another steak place close by. Food portions were very small with a price that definitely did not match the portion sizes. Tasted pretty decent but we were quite bummed since we came with high expectations for the previous steak restaurant and that expectations followed through to this place. On the last day, we decided to try the viral (at the time of visit) cafe before heading back to the airport. The drink was fine and the pastries were quite decent. Nothing super memorable. That was all the food me and my friends tried during our trip to Jakarta. We definitely had other food but since I can’t find a picture for those, I won’t bother writing about it here. Be it as it may, since it was a trip with my best friends, the trip was a joyful memory for me. This cafe has so many things. There is a workshop area upstairs as well. You can bring food from the store up to eat. There is a small gift shop selling art stationery. It's cute. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. You can sit and relax. It's got plenty of space and the design is very pleasing. It is probably the reason why there are so many people here constantly taking pictures. While not overly crowded but it still gets lot of people. This cafe is located around 800 m away from the subway station. You can walk there. There are 2 stories and brown-orange brick rooftop. I enjoyed spending time at the rooftop very much. There is photo-booth in front of the cafe you can take with friends. Nice cafe to hang out as well although it does stay crowded at most times. Especially famous with instgrammers, women and other irritating types of people who take pictures non stop. So, as long as none of that bothers you. The staff were very welcoming and happy to explain their menu. The coffee and Thai tea were very tasty and the cranberry cookie was really good. The cafe has a very nice design and it's instagrammable. The decor was really nice and aesthetically pleasing, earth tones and good looking furniture. The Gnocchi Chicken was a flavor explosion – soft, pillowy gnocchi drenched in a tomato garlic sauce, accompanied by tender and flavorful roasted chicken. We ordered a refreshing iced mocha to cool us down on a hot, sunny day. It was amazing! We will be back to check out their food menu. As we approached the cafe, two members of the cafe staff immediately assisted us with entry and accessible seating. Excellent awareness of their customer's needs. The Café Mocha itself is a five-star delight. Not too sweet, good separation of the milk and the espresso, and a bed of chocolate shavings covering the top. One of my favourites in jakarta. A coffee shop that tucked in the front corner of a quite and big hostel / residence . The coffee shop itself is not that big and has its rooftop garden seating. Very cozy and comfortable place to sit for a long time as the place itself is far from main road. They have various selection of manual brew coffee beans with moderate price and geisha beans as well ! Fast internet connection and nicely designed interior. #indonesiatrip this time was about experiencing pure luxury at the only Intercon in Jakarta. The Intercontinental Jakarta Pondok Indah is connected to the PIM mall. Service was attentive and excellent. The welcome amenities were awesome for a Platinum member. Nothing to fault much except that I was “advised” to have breakfast elsewhere because the Sugar & Spice restaurant was crowded. Not sure because it was Boxing Day so there were 7 families waiting at 8.45 am. Well, my room did not include breakfast but to turn away like this is a bit meh. Then, the food at the Lounge was a long wait too. Nonetheless, the room was awesome and the housekeeping did a turndown service, means your bathroom amenities get refreshed twice! #intercontinentallife #jakarta

A cafe is more like kopitiam, few table of customers is talking and laughing super loud like own home. First time try double cheese bagel which is nice. Tiramisu cake personally felt it was too big a piece and middle part cheese we just left over. Not recommend. Unfortunately, this was the first time I did not finish my hot latte. Espresso seems too thick for latte. And water is not serve you have to purchase mineral water only. Its a cafe with nice staff. Very humble and warm people.
