I've used the al maha lounge many times and never found any reason to complain. In the early days, I used to enjoy their high speed Internet but now everyone has Internet on their phone. The food, on the other hand, has always been top notch. The drink selections are good. They have quiet rooms and shower facilities though I have not used these during my time there. During my current trip, I found They have installed automated entry and exit gates. Just place your boarding pass on the scanner and it opens the gate. #favouriteairline #qatar

If you are ever in Qatar, this is a must visit tourist attraction! Souq Waqif reflects the rich middle eastern culture one expects, full of magnificent middle eastern buildings and a bustling market filled with spices and items that stops you at every corner. At night, the market comes to life with many locals and foreigners visiting Souq Waqif to purchase goods and visit the many famous restaurants over at the market place. I was fortunate to get my hands on Lebanese and Egyptian food during my visits there and it did not disappoint! A once in a lifetime experience - I was fortunate to get my hands on a pair of tickets to watch the round of 16 game between Portugal and Switzerland. The match was amazing with Portugal walking away with a 6-1 win. Apart from the match, the stadium where the match was played was at Lusail Stadium and I have to say it is best stadium I’ve seen in my life so far. Approaching it from afar just takes your breathe away as it lights up grandly at night. It gives you a surreal feeling as if you are lucky to be there to see it in person. The inside of the stadium did not disappoint either. My seats were at the corner of the stadium but yet offered a great view of the match. A tick off my bucket list! Attending a World Cup has always been the top few items on my bucket list and this year, I was fortunate enough to get a hold of some tickets to catch the Round of 16 game between Japan and Croatia. Al Janoub Stadium is one of the most gorgeous stadiums I have visited in my life so far. The architecture and design of the outer rim of the stadium stands out as you approach it from the outside. At night it lights up and you will just go “WOW”. The inside of the stadium fills brand new and gives you a surreal feeling as you step inside for the first time. If you are ever in Qatar, you should check this stadium out. The match itself was exhilarating and the atmosphere was fantastic with fans cheering on. Although the match ended in favour of Croatia which was not the team I was supporting, I was happy with the experience! #qatar #QatarWorldCup2022 #japan #croatia

I finally understood why Qatar Airways was voted the best airline in the world. Perhaps it might have been better with business class but my trip back in economy class was equally good! My business class experience was great as the moment you stepped into the plane, you are greeted and showed to your seat and showered with drinks and treats to get you comfortable. Through the flight, the air stewards were constantly checking in to ensure all my needs were being met. The seat itself was perfect. Private cabin with ample of space coupled with a fully reclinable bed 🛌. The food on the other hand could have been better as some dishes were disappointing. Nonetheless, the overall experience on Qatar Airways business class was amazing and I would definitely jump at the chance of flying with them again. #travel #QatarTravel2022 #qatar #QatarWorldCup2022

The hotel has a very good location: right in the Doha city center. Right next door there's also the City Center Mall, which offers plenty of shopping options. It's also a good 15 mins from the hotel to the nearest metro station. The rooms are a good size and stocked with plenty of amenities. The decor is a bit dated but it's fine. Transfer from Doha to London. Doha Airport is huge, luxurious and has many shops. The transfer process is convenient and simple. Just a simple security check. Unfortunately, the seats in front of the gate were full. You need to go to other gates to sit down and rest while waiting for your connecting flight. In fact, there are enough seats, but the seats near the gate are full. Overall, the transfer process was easy. #DohaTransfer #doha #qatar
