I remember when I was a child, every time I went to 🐬Ocean Park, I would go crazy and play rides. I've never been to any Ocean parks before. I've seen pictures and videos of what's inside but I wanted to see them for myself personally. So, I finally went to one and it's at Cebu Ocean park. When you think of Ocean parks, it's a place to enjoy and bond with families and friends. But for my first time going there, I was not with my family, not with friends, but only by myself. I actually enjoyed my time there. I saw different kinds of sea creatures I've never seen before. There was also a bird show where they make the bird show tricks, and a big aquarium where people in scuba gear swam with the animals and feed them. I wasn't able to take solo pictures because I was still too shy to ask people to take my pictures. And the staff there were not allowed to take picture of visitors unless it was their official camera wherein you have to pay for it. But overall, it was just a chill tour for me. A first time experience as a solo traveller. Ocean Park is simply an action-combo of theme park, IMPRESSIVE aquariums (that's actually kids friendly compared to other aquariums we've been to!), educational animal enclosures, nostalgic history museum (outdoor) all-in-one! The stall games on the mountain are a must for those who wanted to try their luck on winning some plush toys for the kiddos. The staff would teach you some tricks upon asking so there, you can refine your technique without cringing at the cost as the price is very reasonable. We were blown away by having penguins swimming next to us at the Tuxedo Restaurant up on the summit (we went on a weekday so no booking was needed). Food was decent and reasonably priced compared to other theme parks. Honestly, couldn't have asked for more! Thank you, Ocean Park. My kids said they wanted to come back every year and we will! PS - it's a HUGE place so come in your most comfortable shoes, hats and sunscreen. Prioritising where you want to visit is a good idea too. To save time, we went up the Summit by the Ocean Express (faster) and came down the mountain by the Cable Car. Even being there from 10am-7.30pm, we still couldn't finish everything in one day. The Fullerton Hotel Ocean Park, stay at the hotel after playing in the water park, this stay is to celebrate a birthday, thank the hotel for sending a small cake, very considerate! The hotel's breakfast options are rich and worth a try. We stayed in connecting rooms, and the front desk staff kindly allowed us to check out one of the rooms later, so there was still enough time to swim and play the explorer playhouse in the morning, a great check-in experience! However, there is no discount for staying in a hotel to buy water park tickets, which is not reasonable. Soooooo soo many animals that are so interesting and very unique. It’s amazing to watch them in their habitat and being to see them up close. All the rides were fun and line ups were quick. The food is great and loved the special Vintage Hong Kong street area.
