A View Worth a Thousand Words: Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center 🌇
If you're in NYC, the Top of the Rock is a must-visit! Standing atop the iconic Rockefeller Center, you get sweeping 360-degree views of the city that never sleeps. From the glimmering skyline to landmarks like the Empire State Building, Central Park, and beyond, every angle is a photo-perfect moment. Unlike some other observation decks, the Top of the Rock has glass panels that give an uninterrupted view of the entire cityscape—day or night.
For the best experience, time your visit just before sunset. Watching the golden hour transition into the city lights coming alive is magical. Plus, it's less crowded than other spots, which makes it all the more worth it.
So, if you’re looking to soak in the true essence of NYC from up high, the Top of the Rock is where you want to be! ✨

[Sunset is especially recommended] Observation deck where you can enjoy the skyline in 360 degrees
📍𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐊𖠋
Top of the Rock is an observation deck in New York.
There are many observation decks in Manhattan, so many people may be wondering where to go.
Top of the Rock, located on top of the famous Rockefeller Center building, is one of the most historic observation spots among the many observation decks.
About 260 meters above ground, from the 70th floor, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline💕The large observation deck is surrounded by transparent glass panels, so it has an excellent sense of openness!
Purchase your time-reserved tickets in advance online👆🏽
Sunset time is especially popular!
My recommendation is to go up to the observation deck just before the sun sets and enjoy the night view after the sunset. It's a good deal🫶🏽

[New York, USA] When it comes to observation decks, this is the place to go🔭
If you come to this place, you want to see the cityscape of skyscrapers from above!
New York is a great place for observation deck lovers,
but I had a hard time deciding which of the many view spots to go to🤔
One of the three observation decks I visited was
"TOP OF THE ROCK", an observation spot on the 68th-70th floors of Rockefeller Plaza💡
Get excited by the Swarovski crystal chandelier on the ground floor, and take the elevator to the top floor⬆️
There are two points to this place.
The first is that you can see the Empire State Building, which is a symbol of New York, directly in front of you☝️
The Empire State Building itself has an observation deck,
but if you want to take pictures of the New York cityscape,
I think this is better😊
You can also see the green Central Park✨
The other point is that there is nothing blocking your view from the 70th floor terrace. Observation decks on higher floors are generally made of glass, but that is not the case at Top of the Rock. There is no need to worry about reflections that can make it difficult to take good photos. You can enjoy a dynamic panorama! However, it seems to get quite crowded from the evening to the night, so choose a time according to your purpose and make a reservation in advance. Visited in July 2023.
