ZUS-tified at Pasar Seni!
Walked into ZUS Coffee at Pasar Seni thinking I’d just get one drink…
Walked out over-caffeinated, emotionally attached to my barista, and questioning why oat milk tastes like personality.
Ordered a matcha latte, but my soul got a motivational TED Talk in a cup.
The vibes? Hipster with a hint of “I have deadlines but let’s romanticize life first.”
Sat down with my coffee like:
💁♀️ “No, I’m not avoiding responsibilities. I’m just on a caffeine-fueled spiritual journey.”
Also me, 5 sips in:
🫣 “I can smell colours and feel Excel spreadsheets judging me.”
ZUS at Pasar Seni — come for the coffee, stay because your legs stopped working after your third espresso.

Strawberry Matcha Kinda Mood : Pasar Seni
Some days, healing looks like sitting by the street at Pasar Seni,
with strawberry matcha in hand and no plans at all.
Just me, the city breeze, a little pink on my lips,
and a moment of quiet in the middle of everything loud.
🍓🍵 slow sips, soft thoughts, and stillness I didn’t know I needed.
Sometimes, sweet drinks help sweeten the soul too.

Luv It Pink at Pasar Seni: Barbie Called, She Wants Her Vibe Back 🎀
Walked into Pasar Seni and BAM — it looked like Barbie and Hello Kitty threw a party and forgot to clean up. Everywhere you turn, it’s pink, pink, and more pink-er. 💖🌸🛍️
Things I did NOT expect to do today:
✔️ Pose under a giant pink heart arch
✔️ Accidentally match outfits with 3 strangers
✔️ Eat a pink doughnut that tasted like joy and dental bills 🍩
Zero regrets. 100% fabulous.
Even my selfie stick blushed. 🤳💗
If you need me, I’m still somewhere in that pink flower tunnel trying to find my willpower not to buy another glittery tote.

Accidentally Became an Art Collector at Pasar Seni
Pasar Seni really said: “Welcome to the jungle, but make it artsy.” One minute I was admiring handcrafted pottery, next thing I know—I’m wearing a woven hat, holding a bubble tea, and deeply negotiating over a wooden frog that croaks when you rub its back 🐸🪘
Tourist trap? More like me trap.
Also, why did one uncle try to sell me a painting by saying “This cat got aura”? I bought it. The aura was convincing. 🐈⬛💫
Anyway, 10/10 experience if you enjoy culture, colours, and spontaneous shopping you’ll question at 2 a.m.

🇲🇾 Urban Wanderlust: Solo Adventures in KL’s Vibrant Heart
#solotravel #100waysoftravel
I found Kuala Lumpur’s bustling areas are effortlessly accessible. Starting at LRT Plaza Rakyat, I kicked off my journey at BookXcess@RexKL, where the cozy atmosphere sparked my love for reading. From there, I walked to Petaling Street, soaking in the vibrant market scene.
Continuing my exploration, I wandered through Central Market, savoring local art and cuisine, then strolled along Kasturi Walk, delighting in artisan crafts.
The National Textile Museum offered fascinating insights into Malaysia’s textile heritage, while the stunning Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad and Merdeka Square (Dataran Merdeka) provided a perfect backdrop for reflection.
This ultimate urban adventure was a celebration of culture, history, and the joy of discovery!

Malaysian Cuisine Meets Western: Aesthetics Café in Pasar Seni
📍Address: Kleptokrat Café, Jalan Tun HS Lee, City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
💰Average Price per Person: RM20 - RM40 per person
Exploring this aesthetic yet cool with amazing industrial design café in Pasar Seni today. The café is so big even can fit a medium size pool inside. Every spots are instagramable.
Their menu are mostly Malay traditional dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Lontong, Laksa and many more. They also serve spaghetti that have some Malay twist in it. The one that I ordered was Smoked Beef Spaghetti, which is spaghetti that been cooked using the same method to cook one of Malay traditional dishes, "Salai Masak Lemak". Love the combination of Malay and Western Cuisine they did there!
The dessert also mostly Malaysian traditional dessert. I ordered Sago Gula Melaka. Love the creaminess of the coconut milk they used in the dessert. It was perfect!
You should try this place to experience even more. Maybe you can find one of your favourite dish here. Best of luck! Byee~~

The other side of Batu Caves
If you type "Batu Caves" into the search engine, a large number of colorful staircases and tall golden bronze statues will appear on the webpage. This is the key check-in hotspot of Batu Caves.
🛕 In fact, Batu Caves is a pilgrimage center composed of multiple Hindu temples. There are Maurya Temple, Shiva Temple, Ganesha Temple, etc. Most of them are free to visit. 🎫 Peacock Temple entrance fee: RM15.
When returning to the city center from Batu Caves, it is recommended to buy a ticket to Kuala Lumpur KTM station. This train station is the Kuala Lumpur main railway station and has historical value. After arriving at Kuala Lumpur Main Station, walk out of the station for about 10 minutes to the Central Art Center and Chinatown. With one ticket, you can visit multiple attractions, which is worth the price 👍🏼

Central Art Center and Musk Trail
🚶🚶🏼♀️Kuala Lumpur was founded around the end of the 18th century, and most residents began to settle along the Klang River. The city center at that time has become today's Petaling Street and Central Art Square.
The history of the Central Art Museum building spans three centuries and has historical value. At the end of the 20th century, the Kuala Lumpur City Government carried out extensive renovation and planning, and the Musk Walk was established.
🪁 The big Malay moon kite becomes the archway of the Musk Trail, exuding local characteristics and local artistic temperament.

The famous Merchant’s Lane
Technically it’s located in Jalan Petaling, KL. Which means it’s accessible to the MRT Pasar Seni Gate A and need to walk around 1km+ to reach this cafe.
Please be careful especially to cross the road, please be mindful and use the zebra-cross. Stay safe wherever you are.
Price-wise — average price as the other cafe
Taste — authentic for fusion, I haven’t tried the other menu but you can read the reviews on google.
Oh the last picture, I bought a cake in can at Central Market 😋

Halal restaurant opened by Indians 🍴
📫 Jalan Hang Kasturi, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur
Musk Walk is adjacent to Central Art Square. There are many restaurants, eateries and street vendors along the promenade. The brightly coloured sign of Yussof & Zakhir restaurant is very eye-catching, especially the fresh coconuts placed at the entrance of the restaurant!
🔥 On a hot afternoon, although Musk Road was covered with a sunshade roof, I was still sweating profusely; when I walked to the other end of the street, I saw many fresh coconuts in front of me, and without hesitation, I immediately ordered one to cool off!
🍴 The restaurant provides Indian-style halal cuisine. I ordered an Indian cheese pancake. The freshly made pancake was very crispy and paired with rich and spicy curry sauce, which was very satisfying!

Hidden World Food Court
📪 Central Market, M11 Mezzanie, 73, Jalan Benteng, 50050 Kuala Lumpur
Malaysia is a food paradise because of the interaction between the diverse ethnic groups here. Over the centuries, local cuisine has gradually evolved into its own unique Nanyang cuisine. For tourists who want to taste the unique local cuisine of various ethnic groups in a short period of time, going to a food court is one of the best options. A food court is composed of a number of small restaurants with different themes, generally offering Malay cuisine, Indian food, Chinese stir-fried dishes, etc. Tourists can taste a variety of local dishes at once.
There is a food court on the second floor of the Central Art Square. In addition to the Nanyang specialties of the three major ethnic groups, there are also niche Nyonya dishes, Indonesian dishes, Burmese dishes, etc., which can satisfy the taste buds of diners at once! 🫕🥘🍲🍜

Buy souvenirs at historical sites!
The Central Art Gallery is one of the historic sites in the city of Kuala Lumpur. It was first put into use in 1888 in the 19th century. It has gone through many vicissitudes over the centuries and has a lot of history. The Central Market has survived colonial rule, World War II, the struggle for independence and many other events. From a vegetable market in the 19th century, it has been renovated and beautified into a tourist hotspot. It has gone through several different centuries and it is recommended that tourists spend a day in this area.
🚇🚈If you don’t drive, you can take the red MRT Line 5 or the green MRT Line 9 to Pasar Seni Station. After exiting the station, you can walk for a few minutes to the Central Art Square Promenade, where you can find food, drinks, and clothes. Tourists can enjoy themselves and return home with a lot of fun! 🛍️🎁

Affordable brunch at Luck Bros Kopi
Luck Bros Kopi — also located within walking distance from MRT Pasar Seni Gate A, all you have to do is turn right and walk along the shop lot, the distance is less than 800m if I’m not mistaken. Don’t forget to bring your umbrella, Malaysia’s weather is quite unexpected 😂
Price-wise — cheaper than other cafes located at the center of KL. You can scroll down the menu on their Instagram acc, check it out now guys.
Taste — quite nice I’d say, just nice with the prices

I can't tell the difference between grilled fish and roasted fish 🐠🐟🦑🐙
📬 Yu Kee Portuguese Grilled Fish is not easy to find on the navigation map. You can try to input "Sultan Street Hong Kee Famous Claypot Chicken Rice" and when you arrive at Hong Kee, you will find Yu Kee! 83, Jalan Sultan, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur
The history of Portuguese grilled fish can be traced back to 5 centuries ago, when Portugal and other countries began the Age of Exploration, and this dish has been infused with different elements since then. This is a classic Nanyang local cuisine that has fully demonstrated the changes over time in terms of ingredients, seasonings and cooking methods while still maintaining diverse elements!
The rare stingray and stink beans are wrapped in tin foil and topped with a Southeast Asian sweet and spicy sambal sauce. It melts in your mouth and is very delicious!

Klang Station 🚌
📪 7, Jalan Hang Kasturi, Pasar Seni
When you come to Malaysia, you must have heard of Klang Bak Kut Teh, right? Many tourists think that Klang is a town in Kuala Lumpur. In fact, Klang is under the jurisdiction of Selangor State, about 40 kilometers away from Kuala Lumpur.
🚌 One of the transportation options to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Klang is to take an inter-regional public bus. Pasar Seni is the terminus for the Klang bus route. If you want to go directly to Klang, you can wait in front of the gate of Pasar Seni Travelodge.
💰 Tips: Tickets are only available in cash, please remember to bring enough cash and change.

Old-fashioned coffee shop
Li Feng Coffee Shop is located in the old town of Kuala Lumpur. It is a 2-minute walk to Central Art Center and across the street is Petaling Street. The coffee shop serves traditional roast meat, fried rice noodles and beef noodles. There is no gorgeous decoration, but it has a strong human touch. #localtourism #pasarseni #jalanpetaling #yogaretreat #ishafoundation #innerengineering
Central Art Square bus terminal
Pasar Seni Central Bus Terminal is located on the ground floor of Pasar Seni MRT and LRT. It is the busiest transfer station in the area. The bus terminal is neat, with clear road signs and information boards. If you have time, you can take intra-regional buses or inter-regional buses to explore various areas in Kuala Lumpur. If you want to walk to tourist attractions such as Petaling Street, Merdeka 118, and Merdeka Square, they are also within a 10-minute walk. #yoga retreat camp #ishafoundation #innerengineering # inner engineering #INSIGHT #pasarseni #centralartsquare

I just had an absolute blast at Stamp Store in Central Market Kuala Lumpur — Paper Adventures by Loka Made! This adorable paper craft store was a haven for creativity, where spring-inspired designs came alive through stamping and paper crafting.
