Attraction: Blagaj Tekija Address: Blagaj bb, Bosnia & Herzegovina Direction: Taxi, self drive or tour Blagaj Tekija, also named as Dervish house, is a historical Sufi monastery built on the cliffs near the water. It was built at around 1520 and was used to be the accommodation for the missionaries and a place for them to worship. It is a 20 mins drive from Mostar. The water is very blue and is good for pictures. Opening hours are 8:30am to 8:30pm. There are a few restaurants around for you to eat as well. #timetotravel #mostar #monastery

It is on top of the mountain and you can overlook the whole city! The view is spectacular at all time no matter it’s day time or sunset. There is a small restaurant where you can have a drink. There is also a zip line that you can try out. There is also a huge Bosnian Flag! The best part of Fortica is the sky walk. There is a sky walk where you can have a walk and take amazing pictures. It was first constructed in 1566, however it was destroyed in 1992 and was rebuilt in 2004. This bridge is historically significant as it shows Balkan-Islamic Architecture as well as the wars it witnessed. There is an annual diving event every Summer at around end of July. The tradition of the young men of the town of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, leaping 24 metres from the top of the Mostar old bridge into the icy cold Neretva River below was first recorded in 1664. It’s now become a bit of a tourist attraction. The diver will collect money from tourists and when he’s collected enough, he will take the leap!
