I always visit the Penang Hill on every visit to this idyllic island of Penang. You have to buy a ticket to ride the funicular train up and down the hill. The climate at the top is cool and windy and the temp is about 23 deg C. There are lots of flora and fauna at the summit. There are also lookout towers for you to view the coastline from the top of the hill. There is a small cosy hotel and some nice coffee houses where you can sip your coffee while resting. There are monkeys galore along the way and there are also houses of worship like a mosque and a Hindu temple. . There is a police station and if you fancy buying a hat or a souvenir there are stalls selling such items. If you come here on a weekend the queue for the ticket can be very very long. The benefit of fast lane you just Q only around 10minutes instead of need to wait for longer time approx 1 to 2Hours for normal lane. And its so amazing for us to mantain my mood la especially. Hidden Gems in Penang💎 How to get there: Take a tram up to the Penang Hill. Locate your way to the Owl Museum, you will find plenty of buggy services that can take you up to the Kopi Hutan. A lot of reviews mentioned that the owner provides free transport with his 4x4, that depending on your luck and I think as long as it is crowded, it is impossible for the owner to shuttle you over. Alternatively you can walk for 1.5km towards the direction of the Habitat. It was a pleasant walk even with my sandal. The route is scenic, with a lot of English villa to discover.
