Sevilla is bursting with color, culture, and charm. Get lost in the Alcázar’s gardens, soak up the views from La Giralda, and watch flamenco in a hidden courtyard. Don’t miss Plaza de España at golden hour, it’s breathtaking!
Try tapas like espinacas con garbanzos and crispy croquetas. This Andalucian city is walkable and budget-friendly but beware of pickpockets, especially in crowded spots like Santa Cruz and public transport.

🇪🇸Where is this? This is the Plaza de España in Seville🇪🇸

A must-visit place in Seville is Plaza de España🇪🇸
I've been saying that Spain is the best travel destination because I've fallen in love with Spain, but among the many places that I've made memories with, Seville is the most memorable. Among them, Plaza de España in Seville, where the 1929 Spanish-American Exposition was held, has an atmosphere that makes you feel like you've come back from the Middle Ages. The air, the weather, everything on that day were great..🥺
If you're planning a summer vacation in Spain in 2025, I recommend Seville, especially Plaza de España!

Sevilla, Spain - Experience the warm energy of Andalusia: Sleepin Sevilla
#100 Ways to Travel
Travel freely in Spain. After leaving Madrid, take the high-speed train to the beautiful capital of Andalucia #Sevilla. Different from the gloomy urban area of Madrid, the sunshine in southern Spain is really hot, with clear blue sky and goose yellow color. The old town is intertwined with a humanistic style full of vitality and enthusiasm. It's so beautiful!
On this trip, I especially chose the Sleepin Sevilla, an apartment hotel located near the New Square of the Town Hall. Unexpectedly, the alley where the apartment is located is complicated. After circling for a long time, I couldn't find it. I happened to be rescued by an apartment employee who came out on a bicycle. Just follow her. Got it!
The Sleepin Sevilla apartment hotel is quite spacious. The two-bedroom apartment is 60 square meters in size. It is designed in a modern style, simple and bright, and has a large living room and kitchen. There is even a washing machine. It is more comfortable than living at home!
Before the epidemic, the price of stay was extremely cheap, only €182 for two nights, which is equivalent to NT$6,400. After the epidemic, prices across Europe have increased, and now you can only stay for one night for NT$6,400!
Sleepin Sevilla is very convenient as long as you are familiar with the location. It is within walking distance of the most famous attractions, such as the Bullring, the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, etc. It is also very comfortable to walk along the Golden Tower on the river bank. It is highly recommended to travel to Spain. You must do it. Visit Andalusia in the south for a true taste of Spanish flamenco.

Seville, Spain - A wooden building that looks like a giant mushroom: Metropol Parasol
#100 Ways to Travel
Spanish architecture has always been bold and avant-garde. In addition to the well-known genius #Gaudí Antoni Goudi, there is also a stunning wooden building #Metropol Parasol in #Sevilla in southern Andalucia.
The exterior looks like a giant mushroom parasol. It was designed by German designer Jürgen Hermann Mayer over a period of six years. It is made up of six wooden structures shaped like giant mushrooms. It is very ultra-modern in style, and the lattice-like texture of the parasol also provides shade for the hot Seville.
Metropol Parasol is the largest wooden building in the world, about 26 meters high, with an area of about 150×70 meters, four floors above ground and one floor underground.
Don’t think it’s just an art installation. Metropol Parasol is a combination of a museum, a vegetable market, a viewing platform, a restaurant and bar, and a performance venue, so you can watch performances, explore Roman ruins, and overlook the city while shopping.
Tickets for the Archaeological Museum and Observation Deck must be purchased at B1. After visiting the Roman and Moorish cultural relics in the museum, take the elevator to the observation deck and walk in the open-air wooden corridor for a 360-degree view of the city, which is even more beautiful at night when the lights are on. The central market and restaurants and bars are free to enter.

The most spectacular monument in Europe
Plaza de España, Sevilla
1.
Address - Av. Isabel la Católica, 41004 Seville, Spain
Highlights - Flamenco dancers, canal, architecture
Rating - 5/5
The Plaza de España was inaugurated in 1929 as a space for the Ibero-American Exposition of the same year.
Now it’s a spectacle of light and majesty, framed in the Maria Luisa Park.
While the locals mainly visit the park to relax, jog or walk the dog, Plaza de España is mainly visited by tourists (domestic and foreign).
It has become a frequent «ritual» for national visitors to be photographed in front of the space dedicated to their province of Spain with the beautiful decorated tiles.
Under the arches you can usually find local artists, especially Flamenco dancers and singers, typical Sevilla.
And if you’re feeling romantic, you can row a boat in the canal. Bear in mind, it is quite an effort.
TripAdvisor users have rated it as the most spectacular monument in Europe and the second most spectacular in the world.

[Seville Cathedral] Spain's largest cathedral
A cathedral in Seville, the capital of the Andalusia region in southern Spain.
Catedral de Sevilla Seville Cathedral
Av. de la Constitución
*Adult tickets for the day cost 12€
The largest cathedral in Spain and the third largest in the world.
It is said that a huge mosque was built here during the Middle Ages, when the city was ruled by the Moors (Muslims). As a result, some remnants of the mosque can be seen in the current cathedral, which is unusual for a Christian cathedral.
The bell tower called La Giralda was originally the spire (minaret) of a mosque. Some remnants of the mosque can be seen inside the cathedral.
One of the highlights is the tomb of explorer Columbus inside.
It is registered as a World Heritage Site along with the Alcázar and Archive of the Indies in the same city.

Sevilla @Spain 💃🏻
Sevilla in the south of Spain 🇪🇸
I think it's a city that gives you the feeling of Spain.
You can climb to the top of the famous las setas (mushrooms) and see the cityscape of Seville!
It's as hot as being in an oven during the day, so it's best to go in the evening 🚶🏻♀️
If you're lucky, you might even see a horse-drawn carriage 🐴
It's a relatively compact city, so you can enjoy it quite a bit in one day. At night, I hope you'll watch flamenco and feel the Spanish atmosphere 💃🏻

European Market Tour - Seville, Spain: Mercado de Triana
[Walking around #EuropeanMarket] Mercado de Triana, Seville, Spain
#Seville #sevilla is the capital of #Andalucia in southern Spain. It is a sunny, passionate city famous for its Spanish bullring and flamenco dance.
#TrianaMarket Mercado de Triana is a very traditional local market, selling agricultural products and meat dishes during the day and transforming into a bar at night. It seems that all European vegetable markets are like this? Because the building is old, there is a museum next to it.
The Triana Market is located on the other side of the Seville Bullring, about a 10-minute walk across the river. It is very obvious and is where the locals buy their food. It is very traditional and has fewer tourists.
In addition to fresh fish, meat and dried goods, there is also bread and delicious handmade biscuits for sale here, which are inexpensive and of good quality. I bought a traditional butterfly biscuit, 1/4 kilogram for 2.25 euros, which was very delicious.
Of course, you can also choose to have breakfast at the market, with traditional Spanish fried dough sticks dipped in hot chocolate. The food at the market is not inferior to the famous old shops in Madrid!
Mercado de Triana
Opening hours: 0800-1500
Address: C. San Jorge, 6, 41010 Sevilla, Spain

A Journey through time in Plaza de España
Placed in the heart of Sevilla, the Plaza de España is not just a destination; it's a breathtaking journey through Spanish architecture and history. This architectural marvel was designed by Aníbal González and unveiled in 1929 for the Ibero-American Exposition. Its unique blend of Renaissance and Moorish styles captures the essence of Spain’s diverse heritage, making it a paradise for anyone with an eye for design.
The plaza itself is a photographer's dream. The best spots for capturing its beauty include the ornate bridges crossing the canal, where the reflections of the grand structure in the water create a perfect symmetrical image. Another must-visit is the central building with its intricate ceramic tiles, each representing different provinces of Spain, offering a colorful backdrop for vibrant photos.
Timing is key when visiting the Plaza de España. The ideal moment to experience its full glory is during the spring, particularly in April when the weather is pleasantly warm and the skies are clear. This time of year is perfect for enjoying the site without the scorching summer heat or the occasional winter rain.
One of the best parts about visiting the Plaza de España is that it's completely free to access. Visitors can explore its grandeur without worrying about entrance fees, making it a perfect inclusion in any travel itinerary.
Located within the María Luisa Park, the Plaza de España is easily accessible from any part of the city. Whether you are strolling through Sevilla's charming streets or taking a quick bus ride, reaching this iconic site is convenient and straightforward.
Visiting the Plaza de España is an unforgettable experience that offers more than just a glimpse into Spain’s architectural past. It is a place where every corner tells a story, every tile holds a memory, and every visit feels like a step back in time. #trip #localguides #Sevilla #plazadeespaña

Pre-season Spurs
Last July, I had the opportunity to watch 2 pre-season games. The first game was between Spurs vs All Star K League, which was the first time I watched live football with the team I have been cheering for for decades. I was so excited to see the players of my favorite team, get autographs and talk to them a little bit. I was a little disappointed that the staff did not allow me to take a picture with the players.
Game 2: Spurs vs Sevilla. I was especially happy because I saw Erik Lamela, my favorite player, play for the Spurs team again, even though this time he was wearing the Sevilla shirt.
I would like to thank the kind and friendly brothers and sisters from the SpursThailand group who joined the trip all the way. They always recommended good things to each other. It was like we were in the same family. It was so warm.
