Jaipur - the pink city..
Visiting Jaipur in April is not so comfortable because of the HOT weather. This busy city has so many beautiful places to visit, however I've been to places as many as my health can stand with the hot weather.
My favorite one was the Amber Fort or you can call the Amber Palace. It is an amazing and enormous place that human had built long time ago. I can imagine how powerful this city was!!
Anyway, the most beautiful place in Jaipur for me is Hawa Mahal or the wind palace. I love how they designed and colored this palace so much. Jaipur has so many places and products to see, but I only had 3 days to stay. Hopefully I'll be back here again..#hawamahal #amberfort #Citypalace #jaipur
'Mahal' view at Hawa Mahal
Totally in awe with the rear of Palace of Wind or #hawamahal. This 5 storey pink sandstone palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Reason being: to allow the royal women a view of everyday life including festivals and celebrations through the windows, as they never appeared in public (without face covering: purdah) #theguidetoldus
Trivia: How many windows are there? A: 953 windows (Jharokhas) in total 😂 but i was busy wondering it must have been a tiring task to wipe all the windows. hehe
anyway, we really love thr building that we came again at night to have another shot. l. The cooling effect in the chambers, are through the breeze passing by the small windows and enhanced by the fountains provided at the centre of each of the chambers

Hawa Mahal, A Women's Chamber 🇮🇳
#wecreate
Hawa Mahal is located in the heart of Jaipur. We stopped on the way back to our hotel from Amber Palace. How I wished we were earlier because they only sell tickets up until 4:30 p.m. and we just missed it. We really wanted to see the entirety of this beautiful architecture so we found a restaurant just right infront of it. We ordered some snacks and enjoyed the beauty of Hawa Mahal.
If you want to explore it's interior then I suggest to go early or if you're doing our itinerary like going to amber palace first and just do a stop over here then leave Amber palace around 3 or 2:30 just to make sure that you make it there on time and you have enough time to explore inside.
PS. It is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
Enjou your Jaipur trip.
