A Beautiful Central Park In Taipei, Great for All The Nearby Museums!
If you are in Taipei and you want to check out the museums you need to check out the 228 peace park while you are there, it’s beautiful and it Is free! The National Museum Of Taiwan and the Natural History museum are bases at this park, along with the peace memorial museum - all three can be visited in the same day.
The park also has a lot of sculptures, modern art and of course the national peace memorial itself - giving the park it’s name. There are also some pagodas, locomotive engines and an old Japanese Radio tower - left over from the war. All of these little elements give the park such a quirky atmosphere, everywhere you look it’s completely different - there really is something for everyone.
I got there for about 7:30 grabbed a coffee and wandered around waiting for the museums to open at 9AM! Get off the metro at Taipei University Hospital station and follow the signs!
The park has clean public toilets, lots of shade, seating and it’s in walking distance of shops restaurants and stores.

Auckland Art Gallery, Top Free Thing To do In Auckland! 🖼️ 🎨
Auckland is an expensive city to visit so it’s always good to find something that’s free, the Auckland Art Gallery is a prime example! The art gallery is located very close to the main shopping district and is completely free to enter! Just a five minute walk from central Queen street this galley is a great place to visit and the best part is it’s free!
The building itself is stunning and features a really
Interesting mix of construction materials and a great use of natural light. It’s built into the side of the park and it feels like it’s half man made and half natural, I really suits its purpose.
The galleries themselves have a wide range of art and it’s very well laid out, the paintings are grouped together and there are large A3 cards with information on all paintings in many languages. There are audio guides available but I found the information cards enough.
The modern art area with the physical objects was a highlight, the huge colonial style room with high roofs and white wash was beautiful. One of the nicest layouts I’ve come across in an art gallery, it was nice and calming and really adds to the art.
Really impressed with this galley and so happy it’s free to enable as many people as possible to appreciate the art.

Getting the most famous photo in Japan🗻
The Chureito pagoda with the unmistakable shape of mount fuji in the background is probably the most popular photo spot in all of Japan and getting there is actually not that hard🗻
The Chureito pagoda is located in the town of Fujiyoshida and can be photographed from the Arakurayama Sengen Park Observatory📷
You can get on a train in Tokyo and after a 3 hour journey, you’ll arrive at the train station in Fujiyoshida, from which you can take a 20 minute walk to the pagoda (which is of course free by the way)🚄
But if you want to get that famous shot during sunrise, you will have to spend a night in one of the many hotels in the town, whose prices can vary, depending on the season🏨
But here are a few tips:
-Get up early and don’t waste any time in the morning, the walk up the mountain might take you longer than you expect, depending on your level of fitness (but should only be around 10 minutes)🌅
-There’s gonna be a lot of people in the morning, so once you arrive early, set up your tripod so no one can steal your spot📷
-Don’t wait for the light to be “perfect”, because that light might never come and then you’re standing there without any shots at all, so just take a picture every 30 seconds or so while you’re waiting for your desired composition☀️

Feel like Alice in Wonderland 🌸🇬🇧👗
When most people think about cherry blossoms, Japan or Korea come to mind. However England spring time is just as magical! 🌸🌷🇬🇧
Just an hour drive or train from central London, Savil gardens in Virginia waters makes you feel as though you are Alice in Wonderland! 🐇♥️
Park in the car park or arrive from Virgina water train station 🚉, Savil gardens is easily accessible with toilets and picnic tables. It is a huge park, close to Windsor great park (home to the royal Windsor castle 🏰 and Eton college) so it can be made into a full day out easily.
Throughout the gardens you can find lovely views and little paths covered in fallen petals, so white it looks like snow! It’s never been busy so there are lots of perfect photo opportunities where you don’t feel pressured to move. All outdoors so you don’t need to wear a mask.
I love the feeling of magic and seclusion here, it’s one of my favourite places to visit in the spring time (and you don’t have to pay to enter!) You can enter from the main carpark or I like to walk in past the Bailiwick pub and head straight to the lake, past the polo fields on the right hand side. Part of the fun is exploring it for yourself!
Tips from a local:
🌸Bring a picnic 🧺
🌸Visit Windsor or Ascot at the same time 🏇
🌸Come in spring for the blossoms
🌸Enjoy English food at the Bailiwick pub or eat at the Savil gardens restaurant 🍴
🌸Although there are proper paths, wear comfortable shoes so you can explore more! 👟
🌸Unlike many other attractions you don’t have to arrive super early to avoid crowds
🌸Open from 9am to 6pm every day

2 days in Paris~ free art exhibition
We had a spontaneous short stay in Paris and wanted to explore free attractions (thanks to student budgets), we came across this fascinating little art exhibition in Châtelet with six floors, each a different theme, separated by winding staircases covered in eye catching art (pardon the pun). They even had free postcards upon entry. Would highly recommend ~ Châtelet, 61–63 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France#paris #free #art
Pardon, which Garden? Secret Parisian beauty!
The #Jardindeluxembourg is one of the most gorgeous and underrated parts of #paris. Jardin translates to garden in French.
Originally designed and built in the early 1600’s, this enormous green paradise is great for any travelers who want to escape the busy crowds of Paris. Within, you’ll find wonderful #statues, #fountains, and #flowers.
Chairs are littered all over, as this is truly a place for everyday Parisians and more relaxed travelers to stop and admire what is around them.
A lake is used for tiny toy sail boats that are great for kids, and playgrounds are scattered throughout so that you can have fun here for a few hours with kids without getting bored.
However, the garden is gigantic, so it isn’t at all difficult to find quiet spots for playing chess, reading, or just relaxing.
Wonderfully manicured lawns are everywhere, shaded by trees that are home to singing birds.
Additionally, you’ll find a small replica of the #statueofliberty.
And the best part? Entry is entirely #free.
This place is perfect for families that want to sit and relax after walking up and down the #eiffeltower, or for families that want games to keep their children busy.
Is is also perfect for seasoned travelers and couples who are looking to spread out a blanket and slow things down.
You can stroll through it in 20 minutes or spend several hours there. I would highly recommend visiting when you’re in Paris!

As we walked, we could hear hornbills singing all the time. We sat and watched and listened to the source of the sound. In no more than 30 minutes, we heard the sound of flapping wings like a helicopter overhead. Yes!!! Hornbills. We waited for 1 hour. There should be a flock of about 5 hornbills.
If you are interested, try going up to visit.

Palazzo Ducale little piece of history
Romantic piece of history in Martina Franca.
Do not need ticket entrance
One of Puglia's grandest buildings, the Palazzo Ducale of Martina Franca was built as a regal residence. It was placed over the remains of the Orsini Castle that had been built in the 1300s. Conceived of by the Caracciolo family as a type of royal palace to show their status, its original design was to have 365 rooms. Costs and political changes lessened that design, but it was nonetheless an impressive edifice, and still wows visitors today.
The Palazzo Ducale is home to the city's town hall, but also a museum. It is one of the few palaces in Puglia that is still furnished with period pieces, making the salons more appealing and giving a sense of the times as you visit. The halls are frescoed and adorned with artwork.
Suggestive and full of local history
In a dedicated area you can find some exhibition or photo gallery according with the calendar.
Free entry check opening time on the website.
Really recommended if you go in the area.
It is situated in down town really easy to access
There are not elevator or lift but stairs only

Nissa bella
Nice is a beautiful city as well as being the capital of the French Riviera. It’s a city worth visiting at any time of year! There are many museums waiting for you here, great scenery, green parks, and, of course, a 7 km long seaside promenade.
Nice is located on the French Riviera towards the Italian border and close to Monaco. This, the 5th largest city in France, is considered to be the capital of the Côte d’Azur. Every year, 10 million tourists from around the world visit Nice and the region. This is not surprising, because here the sun shines 320 days a year and the winters are mild.

If you haven't been to Eze, it's time it was on your list.

Ramada Resort by Wyndham Golden Beach
Staying here for 2 nights with my partner, a short trip in Sunshine Coast. The check in was quick and the staffs were friendly. We got a very nice, quiet room away from the lifts. It’s equipped with a small kitchen, enough for making your meals. The bathroom was spacious with a spa bath. The balcony with a view was my favourite. It’s just so relaxing to sit there enjoying a drink or morning breakfast. The sunrise view was really nice. We also tried kayaking as it’s included in our package. It’s a glass-bottom one and we did enjoy our time as the water was so calm and clear. They also offered a one time 10% dining credit in the Thai restaurant in the hotel. We did tried and it’s quite good too. Overall although the hotel was a bit dated, we still enjoyed our stay there. I highly recommended as it’s good value of money for a short holiday.

Man Mo Temple on Hollywood Road
The Man Mo (or Miu) Temple is for the worship of the Civil / Literature God ‘Man Tai (or Cheung)’ and the Martial God ‘Mo (or Kwan) Tai’. Built in 1847 and compromised of three temples (Man Mo, Lit Shing and Kung So), the largest Man Mo Temple complex in Hong Kong is in Sheung Wan on Hollywood Road. It is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
The nearest MTR is Sheung Wan, but you can also reach the temple via bus no. 26 which travels along Hollywood Road and stops at the Landmark and Sheung Wan Station.
Nearby is Shing Wong Street. It used to be home to an array of street art and painted steps, but sadly only a small area remains with it as it was painted over and removed.
There are a few hotels nearby, such as Hotel Madera Hollywood, One 96, the Putman, the Mercer and even a lower budget Travelodge also on Hollywood Road. I would love to try some of them out!
