[Rothenburg, Germany] The cute townscape is like a storybook world ✨ [Day 14 of a solo European girls trip]
Day 14 of a solo European girls trip
Rothenburg, located at the top of Germany's Romantic Road
First of all, I'm really glad I went there.
It was my favorite city out of all the cities I visited this time.
The medieval streetscape remains intact, and it was so cute everywhere you looked that you could believe it was in a picture book, a movie, an anime, or a different world. The edge of the castle wall and the tower of the town hall are probably the tallest buildings, and the view from there was really beautiful, and it even felt like a different world where only the inside was isolated from the castle walls.
It's like Wall Maria from Attack on Titan lol
Actually, Rothenburg is not very convenient for transportation, and I had to change to local trains several times to get there, so I was quite worried about whether to just go to Würzburg, a slightly larger city...
In fact, the last train had stopped that day, and there was only a special bus that I didn't know when it would arrive, so I ended up sharing a taxi with a stranger and arriving in a turbulent situation 🚕 lol
However, if there are people who are having the same trouble, you should definitely go even if it's a bit of a stretch! ! ! ! I'm really glad I went, just walking around makes me feel like the main character in some story, I want to go again if I can... I want a door to anywhere 🥲
I wanted to stay here for a night, but after driving around for about half a day, I got on a special bus that I didn't know when it would depart, and anxiously headed to the next stop, Würzburg, looking back and forth at the clock and the driver 🙏
