🇰🇷 Essential Tips for Your Visit to N Seoul Tower
N Seoul Tower—also known as Namsan Seoul Tower—is one of the most iconic landmarks in the heart of Seoul, perched atop Namsan Mountain. Here’s how to make the most of your visit:
💡 Budget-friendly tickets:
For the best deals, consider booking your tickets through Trip.com—it’s often the most economical option.
💡 Smart observation deck strategy:
The decks can get quite crowded, especially around peak hours. For a more peaceful photo opportunity, head to the rest area near the restroom—it's usually less busy.

Time your visit in the evening to catch the sunset—it’s an unforgettable way to see the city bathed in golden light.

Springtime Magic in Seoul: A Cherry Blossom Dream
#cityplaybook
#familytrip #historicallandmarks #localguides
Every spring, Seoul transforms into a pastel wonderland as cherry blossoms blanket the city in soft pink and white hues. From late March to early April, the city’s parks, palaces, and riverside paths burst into bloom, creating breathtaking views and unforgettable photo spots.
One of the most famous spots is Yeouido Hangang Park, where the Yunjungno Cherry Blossom Road becomes a pink tunnel of over 1,400 cherry trees. Locals and tourists alike flock here to stroll under the blossoms, take romantic selfies, and enjoy lively street performances during the Yeouido Spring Flower Festival.
Another must-visit is Seokchon Lake, where cherry trees encircle the water beside Lotte World Tower. The reflection of pink petals in the calm lake makes this one of Seoul’s most picturesque spring scenes, especially during the evening light displays.
Gyeongbokgung Palace offers a different kind of charm—cherry blossoms set against majestic Joseon-era architecture. Wearing a hanbok while exploring the palace grounds during cherry blossom season makes for a truly Korean experience and some incredible photos.
Namsan Park, winding up to N Seoul Tower, offers a scenic hike with panoramic views of the blooming city. The trails are lined with cherry blossoms, making the journey as beautiful as the destination.
Whether you're sipping a latte in a cherry blossom-themed café or picnicking under the petals in a city park, spring in Seoul is a season of beauty, joy, and renewal.

🇰🇷Enjoy the perfect staycation in Seoul, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas🇰🇷
#DomesticHotels
A hotel that I booked because of its lounge cafe, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas!! I visited during Valentine's Day season, so the interior was beautifully decorated with a heart-shaped & strawberry concept. The interior concept is different during special seasons, but it's so luxurious and pretty✨
Since it's a 5-star hotel, you can have a staycation even if you only book a regular double room!! Be sure to try the lounge cafe with a nice atmosphere, and the breakfast is really delicious, so be sure to try it. Among the hotels in Seoul I've visited, the InterContinental is a hotel with great service, atmosphere, and many photo zones. It's a hotel that I definitely recommend for a staycation in Seoul.

🇰🇷 Gwangjang Market: A Culinary Gem in Seoul
#seoulattractions
Gwangjang Market is one of South Korea’s oldest and largest traditional markets, easily accessible via Seoul’s subway—just hop off at Jongno 5-ga Station (Line 1).
We visited the market in the evening, drawn by its vibrant street food scene that truly comes alive after dark. The bustling alleyways were lined with countless vendors offering an impressive variety of Korean street food. For the adventurous, the market also features live octopus and other bold local delicacies served at traditional eateries.
For dinner, we stopped by Bakgane Yukhoe (박가네육회), a well-known spot within the market specializing in yukhoe—Korean-style beef tartare made from raw beef. While raw beef wasn’t to our taste, we opted for other dishes like gimbap, bibimbap, and a savoury seafood mung bean pancake—all of which exceeded our expectations.

Springtime in Seoul: A Season of Blossom
#cityplaybook When Seoul awakens in spring, it’s like the whole city breathes again.
Cold winds turn into soft breezes, streets glow in pastel colors, and everywhere you look — there’s life, laughter, and endless blooms.
Vibe of Spring in Seoul feels fresh, romantic, and lively.
Locals swap thick coats for light cardigans. Cafés spill onto sidewalks. Parks and palaces are covered in pink cherry blossoms, making even the simplest walks feel like scenes from a K-drama.
The air smells sweet — a mix of fresh flowers and warm sunlight — and the mood? Hopeful and full of dreams.

Spring in Seoul
#cityplaybook Spring in South Korea, Typically starting from early March to May, the weather begins to warm up and flowers start to bloom—especially the “beotkkot”, or Korean cherry blossoms, which paint the city pink. More people come out to enjoy the outdoors.
This is my favorite time of year because the weather is just right—not too cold and not too hot. It’s also the perfect season for dressing up in stylish layers, which (maybe?) makes you look even better! 😝

Vinyl House - A Unqiue wine bar and dining spot
Tucked away in Mullae-dong, this distinctive wine bar stands out with its quirky structure that looks like an actual vinyl house—true to its name. Vinyl House is known not only for its curated selection of natural wines but also for standout dishes like honey-glazed codfish steak and roasted eggplant topped with tomato pesto and mozzarella. The venue has earned a reputation for its trendy, artsy vibe—so much so that K-indie band Hyukoh once held a showcase there. For a memorable blend of flavor, wine, and atmosphere, Vinyl House is worth a visit.

Seoul City Ssamziegil
Every time I visit Seoul, I usually head to the bustling downtown area where you can find everything. But today, I decided to change things up a bit and explore the Insadong area 🌷
🚇 From Anguk Station (안국역) on Subway Line 3, take Exit 6, which is in the opposite direction of Changdeokgung Palace. After walking for about 5 minutes 🚶♀️➡️, you'll find Ssamziegil, a unique shopping center.
True to its name, Ssamzie (meaning "bag") and gil (meaning "path"), the exterior gives off a mysterious and exciting vibe, making it hard to guess what kinds of shops are inside.
As you climb the stairs at the entrance, you'll find a gently spiraling ramp that connects all the way up to the 4th floor. While browsing the shops, you'll eventually find yourself at the rooftop without even realizing it. The pathways are filled with artistic touches, making it enjoyable just to walk around 🫧
The shops in this center specialize in traditional Korean crafts, offering products that are both rooted in tradition and modern in design. You'll be captivated by the high-quality and stylish items 💫
There’s even a shop where you can create customizable keychains, which have become increasingly popular in various stores recently 🍬
The area surrounding Ssamziegil is like a traditional shopping street, lined with stores selling tea sets and clothing inspired by hanbok. Exploring these shops was a delightful experience full of new discoveries 👘
If you're visiting the palaces, I highly recommend taking a stroll through Insadong as well 🥨

Countless buildings illuminate the landscape, sparkling like stars scattered across the earth.

[Seoul] The cutest café with holy water! Dalimak
Dalimmak is a cafe I definitely wanted to visit when I went to Korea
Bear bread with a heart-warming face 🧸
Honestly, I thought it was just for looks, but it was delicious when I tried it! ︎
You can dip it in Kaimak, a milk-flavored cream, and honey, or in the floating bear-shaped cream...♡
There were lots of real breads at the entrance to the store, so I couldn't help but take a photo of them📷
There was a line on the left, so I waited in line, but it turned out that the line on the right was for people who ordered to pick up their order! Be careful if you go! !
You can eat under the pink flowers on the second floor, which is sure to look great💖
However, you have to order at least one drink to eat in
If you go to Seongsu, please be sure to stop by✨

[Korea/Gangnam] A famous long-established restaurant that serves delicious egoma makkusu and bossam🩷
Right next to Gangnam Station❣️

There aren't many menus, but I ordered my usual egoma makguksu and bossam😍
The egoma makguksu is topped with plenty of seaweed and sesame seeds, and you mix it thoroughly with egoma oil, and the aroma wafts through the air, and the soba is smooth and delicious😋♡

There is also a beautiful cherry blossom road in downtown Seoul 🌸Shinchon Cherry Blossom Avenue
Every spring, the avenue outside Shinchon Metro Station (Line 2) quietly puts on a new pink look. Walk out of Exit 2 or 3 of Sinchon Station and you will see streets lined with cherry blossoms in less than a minute. This short road is particularly charming during the cherry blossom season. The flowers on the treetops bloom into a romantic pink and white. When the breeze blows, the petals gently fall with the wind, like being in a spring fairy tale in the city.
The transportation is very convenient. You can take Metro Line 2 and get off at "Xinchon Station". There is no need to transfer or walk for a long time. It is suitable for those who want to enjoy the cherry blossoms easily.
If you want to find a place where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of cherry blossoms without having to travel, this cherry blossom avenue outside Shinchon subway station would be a great choice.
✨Photography tip: Because there are still a lot of people and cars on the road, you can shoot from a low angle to let the top of the cherry blossom trees fill the picture, creating a "cherry blossom sky curtain" effect, and also avoid too many passers-by and debris~

There are many beautiful palaces in other countries, but I especially like Gyeongbokgung Palace in Korea. That's why I visit it often. It's a beautiful palace that was designed and completed in 1394! In particular, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Gyeongbokgung Palace is even better because of its beautiful lake view. Gyeongbokgung Palace, which has a long history, naturally blends in with the city of Seoul and has a beautiful charm!
These days, the number of foreign tourists has increased, so I think it's an opportunity to introduce our charm. Even for those who haven't been there yet, I recommend taking a walk with your family during the holidays and having a good time.✨

✨💕Beautiful Jogyesa Temple✨💕Must Visit!

🇰🇷Soulful Seoul🇰🇷
We visited the famous Jogyesa Temple on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year💕
The temple was built in 1395, at the start of the Joseon Dynasty. Then the modern temple was established in 1910 and was originally located at a different location. At this time, the temple was known as Gakhwangsa.
It was then finally moved to this location in 1937.
This temple is one of the most important Buddhist temples in South Korea, we saw people praying at the temple and also just sitting down to bask in the atmosphere. I loved the display of the colorful lotus lanterns around the temple. It usually lights up at night too!
There is also the 500-year old Lacebark Pine Tree which features a distinctive and beautiful brown bark. These types of trees grow and reproduce slowly making them very rare and important to the history of Korea.
This temple is open 24 hours so visit it when in Seoul👍
