This mountain is located next to the main square. You can recodinse it from the Pagoda on the top of it. The hike up consists of stairs. It is around 930 stair steps and walking. It takes around 1 hour to go up and down. Good excercise for your body, we are pretty fit but it was a bit hard. Maybe because of the cold weather (-9°C) The view speaks for itself. One of the most beautiful views we saw in China. It is free of charge to walk up. You can see in front of you the other hill with the ski resort. If you’re looking for a magical winter experience, the Mengshan Giant Buddha is the perfect destination! My visit to this sacred site felt like stepping into a fairytale, with the entire landscape covered in snow. Instead of taking the electric car, I chose to walk, allowing me to enjoy the magical environment. The journey took about an hour, with breathtaking views along the way. When I finally arrived, the sight of the Buddha, was impressive. While slightly smaller than the Leshan Giant Buddha, it is much older and incredibly well maintained. I also explored Kaihua Temple, a fascinating temple partly built inside a cave, adding to the mystery and spiritual atmosphere. Along the way, I stopped at Mengshan Dawn Moon, a scenic spot with a frozen waterfall, creating a stunning winter landscape. I was surprised to learn how easy it is to get to the Buddha head embedded in a banyan tree. Listed as a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and famously advertised by many, this is a great day trip! Deciding how to get there and back, what we wanted to see, we opted to rent a motorbike in Bangkok and ride it all the way, sightseeing all day. The nearby sights are as spectacular as visiting the never rebuilt ancient city. I went skiing at the Bansko Ski Resort, where the lift pass cost around 70 BGN for a day. The slopes were well-maintained, catering to all levels, and the views were absolutely breathtaking! After a day on the slopes, I explored the town's cobblestone streets, filled with cozy restaurants and shops. I tried some local dishes like banitsa and kavarma, and they were delicious! 🍽️ The après-ski scene was lively, with many bars offering warm drinks and a friendly atmosphere. I also took a day to visit the nearby Rila Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which was about a 90-minute drive away and totally worth it. This site can be seen in a small village in Qinhuangdao city. An interesting note is I took these photos in spring time just after most of the snow melted. A definite recommendation to visit as most tourist locations along The Great Wall are usually very busy, this little town is magnificent with a lot of cultural history! What’s best than spending some time in the royal city? The place is filled with history, breathtaking sights and endless tourist attractions (: Getting There - Metro everywhere!! Use your contactless card as the oyster card for the metro/bus, is wayy more convenient and cheaper! Oh, And i do not recommend the buses at peak hours, the traffic is insane sometimes. During my winter trip to Grand Canyon National Park in January, I was mesmerized by the serene beauty of the snow-dusted landscape. I started walking from St. Sophia Cathedral, stopped at Zhaolin Park and ended at Songhua river. Stalin Park is right next to it. Except for the Snow and Ice world, I took a taxi from the Stalin Park to there. This literally felt like a fairy world! I can’t imagine going any other time than winter. The snow makes the surroundings even more beautiful. I definitely recommend visiting if you arrive Harbin. I paid 170 yuan for the ticket plus bus transport. Pickup is at Zhoulin hotel which is right outside the Meteorological Observatory metro station. Drive to the manor is approximately 1 hour give or take. Scan your ticket upon arrival and you’re good to go. They do have buses in the park so if you get tired just find the nearest stop and wait. Yellow fall, can be seen only in winter season. We went there by 2nd week of February. To the way to there, you need to take 2 robe rift on the half of the mountain and they walk till to the fall. Hiring local guide should be favorable not to get loss path. It could take 3 hrs for round trip by foot and then take a lift ride to the bottom of mountain. A villa home away from home🏖, just 15 minute drive south of the airport which is great for a late arrival flight like ours. our plan was to travel Bali a little but after arriving at such a peaceful paradise we decided to just stay in our villa and relax. The private 🏊🏻pool is a really good size with extra shallow part in the shade if you have smaller children. cooking facilities available although the food from the restaurant was delicious, the salmon was a highlight as were the salads 🥗. Breakfast was pretty good too good selection and eggs to your liking every morning. Fridge was a good size and just what we needed to keep your drinks cool ready for the cocktail mix 🍹🍸😋. Dining area was beautifully set up every morning, and it just had such a lovely home away from home feel, whether it was reading a book by the pool or splashing around in the pool. There are 2 other big pools 🏊🏻in communal areas where you can just enjoy the view and green scenery, very clean and well maintained😀. I went to this market on the 10th day of our stay in Korea. It is one of the most recommended tourist attractions for international travelers, specially if you're a foodie. It is also one of the oldest and traditional markets in South Korea. I tried Red-been Hotteok and the 10 Won Coin Pancake. I spent 2,000 won and 3,000 won, respectively. I wanted to try other foods but I didn't like to stay longer in the market cos of the smell lol Be sure to go there with empty tummy so you can try as much as you can. This is SEOUL SKY. It is located on floors 117-123 of Lotte World Tower, the nation's tallest and the world's fifth tallest building. It offers a panoramic view of the Han river and the entire city. There are plenty of coffee shops and seats where you can relax and watch the sunset - if you're going in the evening. I enjoyed walking on the glass floor where you can view below. That was thrilling! We planned to go here to cross the Sky Bridge, unfortunately, it is not open in winter. We prolly should come back to try it. I visited Kuang Si Falls on Christmas Day during my tour of Luang Prabang, Laos. The waterfalls were breathtaking, and it felt like I stepped into a fantasy world. The water was a bright turquoise color and there were seven layers of waterfalls flowing into small ponds. There are even areas where you could swim. Just keep in mind that the water is chilly. The waterfalls were an hour away from the city of Luang Prabang but you can get there with a tour or by renting a motorbike. After passing through the entrance, the staff takes people in an electric vehicle to the waterfalls. Then you can just enjoy the hike up the seven layers and learn about the conservation of Laos’s endangered moon and sun bears. This is Cafe Gabaedo. It is only a few minutes walk from our hotel. It is a Japanese-style cafe that has a cozy and quiet atmosphere. It is a small cafe between Courtyard Marriot and the train station exit 4. The building has a traditional structure. You can also buy candies and some goodies in this cafe. We ordered matcha latte and tiramisu(chocolate). The tiramisu is so good, you should try it. We still have few more days left here in Seoul so we'll definitely go back. The narrative of this gorgeous and fascinating botanic garden began more than three centuries ago when Pan Yunduan was the Ming-era governor of Sichuan province and he decided to construct it for his parents to enjoy in their old age to show filial piety. Yu Garden is recognized as the Garden of Peace and Comfort for this reason, and it serves as a symbol. As I strolled around the garden, I felt peace and harmony. Even though I was surrounded myself by a bunch of tourists. My conscious was clear, I could expect that, so I just went with the tide. I was calm, comfortable with myself, and focused On photographing shots of some intriguing Elements of the surroundings.
