Ground Cafe Malaysia
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ground Coffee in Uptown, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The warm lighting and rustic decor created a welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home.

Aperture Cafe Malaysia
Went to this cozy cafe at TTDI.
Located upstairs, the deco of the place tastefully done. Parking was abit difficult even on a weekday fyi.
Menu consisted of bfast dishes, thai cuisine, snacks, drinks and an array of desserts readily available at the cashier counter and also you place your order at the counter.
Had their khao yum gai yang or as we call it here the nasi kerabu with ayam percik. Price was on the higher side but it tasted good; must haves on the plate are the freshly chopped up ulam and budu sauce. Mix it all up and enjoy!

Adict Coffee Malaysia
Newly open place, they serve coffee and cakes in the morning and barbecue in evening. Coffee tasted amazing and cake is lovely. Interior is industry style with rough touch. Due to limited space in door, may be not good place during hot sun.

Shall We Mee Restaurant Malaysia
I have to say that this dining experience amazed me. The environment of the restaurant makes people feel comfortable and relaxed. The service staff is very friendly and professional.
I ordered the Braised Beef Noodles. The beef is made from beef shank and is braised very tender and smooth! I highly recommend their snacks, especially the pumpkin pie, brown sugar sticky rice cake, and fried chicken steak, delicious!

1.0 Scooby Cafe Malaysia
We were surprised to learn that there was a Scoby 1.0 before this! The cafe is said to be an upgraded version of its previous setup, offering a more aesthetic environment and a better menu with new food items. We can definitely vouch for the renovation – the paint colors and lighting create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, the seating arrangement could do with some improvement. It currently looks a bit disorganized, with additional tables seemingly placed haphazardly.

Rever Cafe Malaysia
We tried thier espresso and pour over, both were excellent, kudos to the young & knowledgeable head barista. Croissant was good but can be further improved, both quality and visually. Would definitely return soon.
Post edit:
The head barista has since left, hence my earlier review becomes meaningless

Go Tarbush Restaurant
#malaccaguide
Well located in the heart of the city. Quick and courteous service. We tried the shawarma pizza which was deccent. Could have been a bit spicy. Turkish coffee was decent as well. Ambience is good.
Their Shawarma Lamb was delicious and I enjoyed it especially with additional pickles. The Turkish coffee was good too but the coffee was same price as my dish 😂 Service is great and staff were very attentive and efficient. Restaurant is clean and comfy environment
The staffs are very attentive, food is great, embience is nice. We loved the food, especially the fish that the staff recommended! So good! We will come again when visit Kuala lumpur the next time! Thank you for the great service!

HWC Coffee
#malaccaguide
The store is as spacious as ever, and there are some small, prominent duck and duck elements, really cute.
One of the biggest changes is definitely the menu, finally not the monotonous and bad taste of the past Joining real cafe style hot food and coffee this time. Basic Oat latte satisfied me, Bolognese is good, Okonomiyaki Croffle, full of materials, the Osaka roasting elements with croffle to cause unexpected taste shock, the fragrance is amazing. Of course, because the price of the big reform has also leaped along with the jump, some basic stuff prices are already surprising.
Service 10/10. Waiter&barista are friendly, fast and helpful. Hope they got paid fairly for their amazing job.
I had large cup of iced brown sugar latte with hazelnut syrup (rm13.90 for the latte and +rm2 for the syrup). Might be the best hazelnut latte i had so far. Probably will be my new go-to coffee shop.
Friends had Matcha latte, Dark Choc and Jasmine. They said theirs also good.

This is a very nice place and quite cooling. The place is vibrant and filled with cheerful young staff. The colours of their Uniform (and apron) fits the decor too. I love their wooden counter.
Our food came in less than 5 minutes. You need to try their Hand-made Radish Cake where the outside is crispy and the insides were soft. Their White Coffee (hot) is deliciously awesome.
The white coffee is superb. So were the snacks. Wish we had more room for food to try the mains. The place is very clean and has a nice ambience

Muzi Matcha Cafe
#malaccaguide
Truly a hidden gem located just around 5 minutes away from the Tambun theme park. The cafe is located very close to Sunway Lost World of Tambun. It is in housing area. The space parking a bit tight but plenty of parking in a further down of the road.
Daifuku flavour taste good and balance with the strawberry while the Aburi Cheesecake taste nice with a hint of lemon & caramel. Our drinks taste decent as well. Space is small but cozy.
The overall atmosphere, interior and vibe just embodies the word peace. The matcha was immaculate and was never a miss every time I ordered. If you're like me and face bowel issues every time you ingest dairy products, they have oat milk as an alternative!

- Cappucino

Kommons Cafe
#malaccaguide
Comfortable and peaceful environment, located inside Travelodge Ipoh hotel. Items here are quite pricey but it does come with quality and precision for their dessert and drinks.
Nice ambience, cosy and soothing, just like the drink and the cake!
Ordered a Romance, ethopia cold brew with jasmine cold brew tea and strawberry. Lovely looking drink, sweetness is just nice and is refreshing and smooth, velvety, just like how it was described.
Had the Oolong Peach cake. Looks equally pretty! Underneath the slightly hard crust was a lightly tea infused mouse and a soft peach. The nut crust at the bottom added the surprise elements of taste and texture!
Overall, I love this place, from the atmosphere to food and drink, all the elements gave me a calm and relaxing mood.

Cascada by Magical Beans Restaurant
#malaccaguide
a unique cafe nestled in an industrial area in Pusing, Perak. I was astonished with the ambiance of this cafe. An unassuming find located inside a factory. Spoiled with choice for food , coffee , tea and other drinks. The staff was very courteous and well kept in the dining area. The toilet also was well kept.
Good ambience to chill, food is pretty delectable as well 🤤 would recommend their pesto pasta and rosemary chicken chop 👍
had an excellent lunch experience at this restaurant! The staff were incredibly supportive and attentive, making the visit very pleasant. The coffee was excellent, and the food was delightful. I ordered the Wonder Rice with Seoul Spicy flavor and was impressed with how perfectly cooked the chicken was—just the right level of spice. The Rosemary Chicken Chop was also a standout, juicy and full of flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and the ambiance was very inviting, with a beautiful fountain adding to the overall charm.

Boba Nyonya Alley
#malaccaguide
Probably one of the best malaysian restaurant i tried in ipoh. The food is so tasty !! The service is very good and the place so lovely.
A totally different flavour of cuisine - it’s the Chinese mixed with the Malaysia style. Full of herbs and freshness…
Small menu concept and pricing suits the dining capacity. the food was delish , much better than some of the Nyonya spots we have been in Ipoh.
Chef has a talent to balance the flavours. I think they will do far better as a private dining /chef table experience than a conventional cafe concept.
Menu Ordered:
- Fish With kerabu rice
- Nasi ulam
- nyonya goreng satay chicken
- Iced Americano

Elegant and luxurious Cafe, and the design pays great attention to details, giving people a high-end but friendly shopping atmosphere. The products in the store are displayed in an orderly manner, from classic models to the latest series.
The coffee was enjoyable, and the iced chocolate was decent. The overall experience was pleasant, especially sipping my drinks under the umbrella with a lovely lake view. Great ambiance!
Iced Chocolate and it is soooo good ! very chocolatey. perfect for a cool, sweet treat.
The staff is enthusiastic and professional, and can recommend suitable products according to needs without making people feel pressured.

Dousserie Bakehouse
#malaccaguide
A favorite restaurant for foodies💯😍
It is a nice cafe restaurant to enjoy lunch. The pastries and pasta are really nice and tasty. The service is good as the waiters or waitress are responsive to our requests.
If you like spicy food, you must try tomyam Seafood Squid Ink Pasta, which is appetizing and rich! People who can't eat spicy food should avoid it
The highlight is the fried tempura shrimp Squid Pasta with salted egg, which has just the right balance of flavors and is a perfect match!
Don't look at the noodles colours in dark, they are delicious and good-looking. A must-visit cafe in Ipoh
There are also many pastries and desserts. One of the newly launched cherry puff shown as in picture. The outer shell is crispy and the cream used is not cheap.
Dousserie is the suitable place for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea.
This is a Cafe with delicious food and comfortable space, making it a great place to hang out with friends.

Brew N Bread Cafe
#malaccaguide
Nice specialty coffee cafe at the entrance of the wisma. Got seating outside, inside and also upstairs. More spacious seating upstair. Good range selection of food over breakfast, lunch menu set.
Ordered a latte. They use dark roast but maintain a good bitterness level to it. Had their cold brew also, quite nice.
The coffee was beautifully served and tasted very good! The food too was served delicately and was amazing. I had florentina on toast and my friend had smoked salmon on toast. The poached eggs were gorgeous and everything about this place is cute, professional and good value
A good place for breakfast because they open super early. Service was good, fast & efficient. Food was amazing! Good vibe overall. l personally super like the cake display case with a full variety of the café.

At bukit bintang where we stayed for new year
Happened to stay nearby, passed by many times,
I'm curious about the couple, a store I never knew about
Turn around the corner of a large surface restaurant,
There's a casual shop with similar names, various,
Wasn't confident enough to try this 🤭
I made the right choice!! 🙌
Drinks and sauces were all delicious 🤩
Also, every staff is professional friendly,
Very comfortable service 😊👍
Working from inside a Muslim shop in the Middle East,
Hit and change, the view outside looks mediocre 😆
It was originally located in a crowded area,
Culture intertwined, it's just like Malaysia 🇲🇾.

Petaling Street Market
#malaccaguide
Cool place to haggle the hawkers and by really great imitation and seconds imported from Thailand, China, Vietnam and Korea.
Quality of goods overall are very good and for the prices you can haggle to they are good. Only one aggressive shop owner for the whole market but choose your targets when dealing with them and if you’re looking to shop hard then go first in the morning before they get tired and it heats up.
Food is great just a street over for meals, there’s snacks spread out all through the market in amongst the clothing, bags, shoes, bags and bags.
Very worthwhile coming here to find some nice trinkets or stock up on your sporting gear, bags, shoes and bags.

Picadilly Cafe
#malaccaguide
An aesthetic café in Jalan Tun Perak that amazed me with both their interior and food. It’s not often that you encounter a café that has such picturesque angles and that serves one of the best food I have ever eaten in my life. It’s so good that we ate here twice!
What i ordered:
☕️💚Pandan Latte -hot RM13
* Boscaiola Carbonara RM24.90
* nasi lemak with sotong RM 25
I luv the localized latte n the mushrooms creamy pasta😋💕
The vibes that we can only experience now are also lovely.
Honestly speaking, their food is even better than some fine dining places I know which is great because you get to eat sublimely cooked food without hurting your wallet!
Another plus is their staff, who are all so friendly and accommodating.

Kuriya Japanese Restaurant
#malaccaguide
One of the best Japanese restaurants in KL. The sashimi is so fresh and meatly. So good! Variety of lunch set meals too.
The dining experience and food quality speaks of nothing less than luxury. One of the best highlight goes to their in-house soba noodles served with their own premium soy sauce which paired well with the super-crispy tempura moriawase. The fresh wasabi-daikon-spring onion combo elevates the soy sauce at a different level. Their shrimp karaage was seasoned to perfection and a great sharing-appetiser. The salmon ikura don was served generously with the salmon caviar and the salmon cuts were fresh making it such an addictive meal.
One must order their hotate which is of premium quality and bigger size than other similar outlets with comparative prices. Their handmade buckwheat noodle is so springy and easy on the stomach which is served hot . I'm lucky enough to have tried their uni which is fresh from the ocean and this dish is seasonal and limited. Excellent cooking and top notch service. Will definitely be back again.

Tim's Teapot Terrace
#malaccaguide
Cool, quaint, little place. Appears unassuming from the outside but really cozy inside. Good choice of mainly English-themed breakfast/tea, great desserts and drinks.
Price was good, below RM 30/pax. Service was good. Ordered pies and lasagna - they were good. But I think the dessert and tea were the star of the show.
Free but limited street parking.
Overall would recommend this place for a quiet, more reserved kinda date/hangout. Price is average to slightly cheaper than average. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Breakfast Spot Cafe
#malaccaguide
The place was super cozy, comfy and the food was super delicious. ordered the waffle breakfast and the portion was super generous and the plating was very nice. breakfast was super yummy and definitely a place i would repeat again. staff were all super helpful and gave top notch service.
Great place for breakfast! I love the ambience here. Every corner in this cafe is perfect for taking ootd pic. I really enjoy the food here, I ordered a plate of egg benedict and and a matcha honey yuzu and it taste amazing! The price was actually acceptable. It's quite crowded, maybe because I came here by weekend. Staff is friendly and good service. This is the best breakfast spot I've ever visited so far. Definitely would come back here again.

UNIQLO Cafe
#malaccaguide
This is my first time coming to UNIQLO opening store and how can I am the first one in line, I am shocked and excited at the same time
Hats off one of the best coffee tastes for such a reasonable price. The weird thing Is that this is in BCCD a boutique, not a stall of his own. I wish there was more of this all across Malaysia.
The value buy is worth to buy, but I do think it's still more expensive compared to my country, even after the currency conversion. Staffs are nice and helpful.
