#Foreign Accommodation This time, I would like to present Element By Westin Kuala Lumpur I would like to leave a short review in case anyone is looking for accommodation in Kuala Lumpur The location is near KLCC. I personally like the decoration. It looks comfortable, modern, clean and tidy. The lobby here is on the 40th floor, so you can see a wide view of KL. Studio Skyline View room, size 40 sq.m. This point will see the city view, Merdeka Tower, the second tallest building in the world, and some Petronas Towers. The room does not have drinking water, but there is a 3M water filter system. You can drink it. The bathroom is big. Amenities are complete. Breakfast is located in the same place as the Lobby on the 40th floor. It is very good that it is open until 11 am (weekend). There are many seats and a good view. There are many breakfasts, both Western Asian and Local. But I personally think that the taste is average. What is good is that there are freshly squeezed fruit juices such as apple, watermelon, orange, carrot, alternating every day. The staff is overall okay. 🏖️Environment/Facilities: Swimming pool is located on the 39th floor. It is a warm saltwater pool, an indoor pool. The good thing is that if it rains or is hot, you can still swim. The fitness center has complete equipment, not very large, open 24 hours. There is no Club Lounge here. #Foreign Accommodation ##Marriott Hotels Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu This trip has come a long way. Kota Kinabalu or Sarba is a city in Malaysia on the island of Borneo. It is a seaside port city. Today, I slept at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu. The duplex suite room in the entire hotel has 6 rooms, which are considered very rare. But I was very lucky to stay in this room. The ground floor has a bathroom and a living room. Facilities On the balcony, there is a Jacuzzi for soaking and relaxing sea views. The upper floor is the bedroom and bathroom. The view is good, the atmosphere is good, the service is good, the sound system is a good BOSE brand. Lie down and listen to music and chill with a billion-dollar view. Room rates per night are around 4,000-6,000 baht. The room is a bit small, but it is arranged as a High Floor and has a good view, you can see some of the twin towers. The condition of the room, the starting type, is considered OK. The room is new, not narrow, has a good design, looks modern, and is clean. Limited drinking water, 2 bottles per room per day (if you ask for more, it will cost 5 RM / bottle). As for ice, you can ask for it for free throughout your stay. Breakfast buffet, the food line is not very much, but it is complete according to the standard. There is no swimming pool here, but there is a fitness center open 24 hours. Transportation The Monorail station Chow Kit is near the hotel. You can take this line straight to go shopping in Bukit Bintang or go to KL Sentral, which is very convenient. I was skeptical passing by this shop at MyTown shopping mall but my husbae wanted one anyways. He bought the classic chocochip and after walking away and had one bite each, we made a u-turn back to the shop to buy more! It was YUM-MY. Kid you not! Its not the typical subway cookies yummy - these are chewy. Then it crumbles in the mouth after few munches and that got me there. I wished I have tried other flavours but I was scared that if I bring it home (back to Singapore), it won’t taste the same. So, will definitely bring my tupperware back here to get more of these yummy cookeys! My trip to Kuala Lumpur was very short but full of beautiful views and history. I decided to stay in Face Suites giving the best views of city and famous Petronas Towers. The apartments turned out really cheap, but comfortable so I’d definitely recommend staying there! The pool views were simply incredible too. I hired a local guide to show me the main attractions of the city. It worked out perfectly as I had a very limited time in Kuala Lumpur, but wanted to see as much as possible. It was interesting to find out the historical facts and indulge in local culture. My favourite places were Batu Caves, Jalan Alor, Chinatown and Pendara Botanical Gardens.
