#cityplaybook
#familytrip #localguides #historicallandmarks
Busan, South Korea’s vibrant coastal city, offers a stunning mix of ocean views and cherry blossom-lined paths every spring. With the sea breeze gently rustling the petals, spring in Busan is nothing short of magical.
Dalmaji Hill, located near Haeundae Beach, is one of the city’s top cherry blossom spots. Nicknamed “Busan’s Montmartre,” this hill features a romantic road lined with cherry trees that twist along the coast, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and pink blossoms.
Oncheoncheon Stream is another gem, where a tranquil walking path is flanked by blooming cherry trees. The reflection of petals on the calm stream and the cheerful atmosphere of locals enjoying the spring weather create a peaceful, community-driven vibe.
In Samnak Ecological Park, you’ll find long paths beneath endless rows of cherry blossoms. It’s a popular place for cycling, picnics, and peaceful walks under the petals. The wide open space makes it perfect for families and couples alike.
Haeundae Dalmaji Road and the nearby Moontan Road offer scenic routes where you can enjoy both cherry blossoms and moonlit ocean views — ideal for romantic evening strolls.
Spring festivals and food stalls pop up across the city, featuring local delicacies, live music, and lanterns that add even more charm to the season.
Busan in bloom is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and seaside serenity — a perfect spring escape.

Sky Capsule to see Sunset.
#cityplaybook A must activity that I want to do during stay in Busan “Take blueline sky capsule” for seeing the sunset. I’m so luckily because I got the ticket on 5 PM which is the last one. Im starting at Milo station to Cheongsapo station which is the sea view. It takes around 30 mins. The view is so very beautiful. I recommend you should go one time.

Busan a famous coastal city
#cityplaybook If you are in Seoul Korea, “Busan” is another city that I recommend you to visit. You can come here by many ways ie. Car, Train (KTX) and Air Plane from Seoul.
Busan is a famous coastal city. It’s easy to travel around but I have a few points for you keep in mind
- some places ie Blue Sky Capsule, I recommend to buy ticket in advance to avoid to queue which might take time.
- Take cap or clothes because of sunny 🌞
- Get ready to walk because some places are staying a bit far from station
I wish you will enjoy and love Busan like me

🇰🇷 Great Location and Comfortable Stay at GnB Hotel
#busanhotel
Our stay at GnB Hotel in Busan was both pleasant and comfortable. The hotel boasts a prime location, just a short walk from Gukje Market—Busan’s largest and most iconic traditional market. Nearby, you’ll also find Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, which comes alive in the evening as a bustling night market filled with a wide variety of street food vendors. Additionally, the vibrant Gamcheon Cultural Village is located just 2 km away, making it easily accessible.
The hotel itself is modern and stylish, featuring a clean, minimalist design. Our room was spotless and came with all the essential amenities for a convenient stay. While there were no universal power outlets in the room, the hotel staff promptly provided us with adapters upon request.

🇰🇷Busan, South Korea|Popular scones at Cafe Layered, the only London Bagel sister store in Busan
The long-awaited scone shop in Busan
It is a scone sub-brand of Seoul London Bagel
Located in the food court of Shinsegae Department Store in Busan
Once you arrive at the counter, you will see a wide variety of salt bread, scones and cakes.
The cute cultural and creative peripherals made me feel indecisive again...
We ordered salt bread, blueberry scones and American
Take some salt bread and scones
I also bought a cute canvas bag and mug
The salt bread is soft and delicious inside and out.
Scones are more like biscuits and crisper, and are less dry when paired with jam.
The point is that American coffee is really delicious 😌
Arrange to go shopping at Busan Shinsegae Department Store
Afternoon tea is highly recommended!

🇰🇷Busan, South Korea|Having moment, a popular sea view cafe recommended by Baiqiantan
Before coming to Baiqiantan Cultural Village, I knew there were many cafes along the coast.
Many people recommend the endless cafe #havingmoment
I went shopping and took photos at a nearby store that day📷
Come to the store and enjoy
The restaurant was full as soon as we ordered.
Lucky to sit in a seat facing the sea🌊
We ordered Earl Grey Financier and standard iced Americano
The taste of Fernande is somewhat moist and not dry, with a strong bergamot aroma. It is a Fernande with a slightly sugary taste.
It's so satisfying to relax and rest while drinking coffee 😌

best salt bread ever!
If you find yourself in Busan South Korea's Haeundae Beach area, make sure to stop by this place - Jayeondo Sogeumppang (Salt Bread) & Jayeondohae. It is strategically placed near the Mipo Blue Line skycapsule and beach train station which is also a must try for tourists. They only sell one thing and it's their famous salt bread. Their bread is buttery and soft with a hint of salt making it the perfect snack. Make sure to be there early as the line piles up mid morning. #busan #food #musttry #travel #thingstodo #localfood

Where Daffodils Meet the Sea: Spring Magic at Oryukdo 💫
Every spring, Oryukdo—Busan’s iconic coastal gem—transforms into a golden sea of daffodils, drawing visitors seeking both nature and serenity. Perched above dramatic cliffs and framed by endless ocean views, this is where floral beauty meets raw coastal power.💫🌼✨🌊

Late March to early April, when the daffodils are in full bloom and the sea breeze is gentle.

4. Walk uphill about 10–15 minutes to reach the skywalk and flower trail.
🌟Recommended Time to Visit:
Morning (9–11 AM) for best lighting and fewer crowds.

Mipo Sky Capsule 🚡🌅
Mipo is a quiet beachside area located on the north side of Haeundae Beach. This area is famous as the starting point of the “Pookpik” train (Haeundae Beach Train & Sky Capsule) that takes tourists along the sea slowly through the romantic scenery of Busan’s coastline.
🚡 A must-do activity: Sky Capsule is a colorful capsule train that runs on an elevated track about 7-10 meters above the ground. The route from Mipo Station to Cheongsapo Station is about 2.3 kilometers long and takes about 30 minutes. The capsule can accommodate up to 4 passengers and is a private space that does not have to be shared with others. The one-way price is about 1,000 baht for 2 people. You can book through many channels.
🚞 For those who have to take the Sky Capsule only on the way there, there are 2 options for the return trip. The first is to walk along the beach back to the starting point (we chose this method). It takes almost an hour, but the atmosphere is chill and enjoyable. The hiking trail is well-prepared, suitable for those who are not in a rush. Another option is the Haeundae Beach Train, which is a train that runs along the beach. This one stops at several stations. Travel time is about 30 minutes.
🔵In Mipo area, there are also restaurants such as Jayeondo saltbread / a cozy coffee shop and many photo spots. Parking is also easy to find, especially near Mipo Hotel, which many people choose as a stop before walking or getting on the train. Or if you travel by public transportation, you can walk from Haeundae Station (Exit 5) for about 10 minutes or from Jungdong Station (Exit 7) for about 800 meters. You can also take bus number 39, 100, 141, 200 from Haeundae Station or bus number 139 from Jangsan Station.
🚨It is recommended to book tickets in advance, especially in the evening because there will be a lot of people. If we book online, we will get a QR Code ticket that we can show to the staff on the Sky capsule platform.

Time to meet the sea and leisure
If you want to meet the sea in Seoul, Busan is the closest city but has a completely different atmosphere. You can get there in 2 and a half hours by KTX, and the beach, city, market, and alley are a great combination for a fulfilling trip.
1. Haeundae and Gwangalli
Haeundae, Busan's representative beach, is a place where wide white sandy beaches and a sophisticated city atmosphere come together. At Gwangalli, the lights of Gwangan Bridge spread over the sea at night, showing a night view that is hard to see in Seoul. Be sure to have a beer along the beach.
2. Gamcheon Culture Village and Taejongdae
Gamcheon Culture Village is a hilltop village lined with colorful houses, murals, and pretty shops. It's great for walking and taking pictures. Taejongdae is impressive for its blue sea and forests seen from the cliff. You can easily tour it by taking the Danubi Train.
3. Market and Busan Food
You can choose fresh seafood at Jagalchi Market and enjoy various foods and souvenirs at Gukje Market. Milmyeon, pig soup, and seed hotteok are representative Busan foods that you must try. You can also visit cafes in Jeonpo Cafe Street or Haeundae.
Busan is a city that is better for walking with your emotions than planning. Enjoy a leisurely trip with a view of the sea.

Petals & Paradise: My Cherry Blossom Adventure in Jinhae

The cherry blossoms were in near full bloom, painting the landscape in soft shades of pink and white. I learned that most cherry blossoms in Korea are light pink to white, creating a gentle, romantic atmosphere. #AprilGoodDestinations2025
📍Address: 부산 부산진구 부전로66번길 8
🕰️Time: 08:00 - 21:3
I have been to this restaurant many years ago. It has been open for a long time and was quite famous in the past. It is a restaurant that is not often visited by tourists, especially Japanese tourists. Locals don’t seem to come here often.
This time my friend said he wanted to eat it, so I visited again. I found that it was much more deserted, with almost no people. For foreigners, they would give a menu, but there was no basic ginseng chicken soup on it. They were all more expensive. I suggest you look at the stickers on the wall and order the ginseng chicken soup 삼계탕 ₩17,000. If you want something more special, that's another matter~
When the weather is cold, a bowl of hot ginseng chicken soup is a good choice. It is not spicy and warms the stomach!

Busan Jagalchi Market is the largest seafood market in South Korea. It is built by the sea and is full of fishing port style. There is a wide variety of freshly caught seafood, from live octopus to king crab. Visitors can select seafood on site and have it cooked by the restaurant upstairs. This time, we experienced snow crabs, and the boss also gave us a plate of scallops and oysters. The CP value is high and the delicious taste is unforgettable. Chasing Cherry Blossoms Through Busan Streets
#cherryblossom25 I walked through Busan, following cherry blossoms in the breeze. The petals were light pink and white, floated gently through the air, hanging on trees like a picture. I visited parks, streets, cafés and famous attractions, enjoying the calm feelings all around me. Spring wasn’t fully in bloom yet while I was there, but the city still felt peaceful and warm. Everywhere I looked, there was beauty - soft colors, fresh air, and relaxing moments. It felt like time slowed down, just for a little while. These days in Busan were special, and I’ll always remember how magical and calm everything felt that spring. #busan #korea #travel
Spring Serenity in Busan's Blossom Trails
#cherryblossom25
This spring, I found myself enchanted by the cherry blossoms blooming across Busan. From the peaceful walkways of Dalmaji Hill to the vibrant trails near Oncheoncheon Stream, every corner felt like a scene from a pastel dream. Locals and tourists alike strolled under the flower-filled skies, capturing moments of beauty and calm. I snapped these three photos during golden hour, when the petals glowed softly in the sun. There's a unique charm to cherry blossom season in Busan—less crowded, more intimate, and incredibly breathtaking. It’s a quiet reminder of nature’s gentle magic.
