The Exceptional and friendly staff is one of the best things about this place. I have spoken to most of them and it's such a nice feeling how they make you feel comfortable. Great coffee with little to no sourness. Only One selection of Single origin coffee to chose from, but a variety of beans can be purchased. It was amongst the best coffee I tried during my recent trip to South Korea. i think we went there like 4 times and every time I had a different coffee. The best for me was a coffee from Nicaragua however other varieties were also were very nice. I was quite impressed with the coffee menu and the way they conduct themselves. The barista is very knowledgeable. On the top of that I tried some pastry with blueberries and cheese and well, heaven on earth. During my last visit I also got some Espresso capsules, a coffee cup and an espresso cup and coffee was great. This retro, literally in the hole, café is the perfect spot to catch up with friends over the weekends, though it's getting more and more popular these days and hard to get seats. The drinks are quite usual, I feel, but the container (mugs and cups) can be quite unique. Overall, great for unique-ness, great pastry and atmosphere, a bit of effort in getting drinks and pastry/cakes from different place/counters. As someone who enjoys exploring different coffee shops, I am consistently impressed with the quality and taste of the coffee they offer. The coffee is artisanal and you can observe beans being roasted in a traditional way. They also offer other beverages than coffee, and what I've had has been of very good quality. I wasn't expecting the interiors and quality to be this fascinating The selection of pastries, cakes and cookies is quite good, and everything looks delicious. I've tried a variety, and everything was excellent. If you're in the area, it's well worth the visit. If you're not in the area, it may be worth going anyway. This cafe is located in an ultra narrow pretty alley, wonderful interior, the cappuccino was really good, the carrot cake was delicious. They have a great selection of tea, coffee, juice, and pastries. The interior vibe is old-timey and elegant, with a lot of 1940s/50s American jazz/pop music playing. The Wi-Fi is also quite strong. On one side of the alley there's the coffee part. On the other side is the bakery part. Both have seating, and you pay inside each of the shops. STEAM Address - Strada Uruguay, numarul 22 (Piata Charles de Gaulle) and the second location is at Strada Visarion, numarul 2 (Piata Romana) Highlights - Steam definitely has a charm as it is super cozy with only a few benches to sit on with 8 people probably being the max to fit in. Rating - 6/10 4. Sloane Coffee Shop Address - Calea Victoriei 87 Highlights - The cafe is in a British style building with an inner terrace, that I can barely wait to visit in summer. I was brought here by a friend and I just had a latte on that visit. A truly memorable latte. The cardamom bun is excellent and so it their cheese and whipped butter & bread plate. It gets pretty busy so there’s a bit of a wait. Filtered coffees & food are served immediately but prepare to wait for your latte or other coffee orders.
