It was my first time traveling to Nagoya. As a rookie tourist, I still had to do some standard itineraries. Although I didn’t plan to eat at this restaurant for dinner that night, unfortunately the restaurant I wanted to eat at was fully booked and couldn’t accommodate the walk-in.
But it doesn't matter, Kanayama Komachi is a group of izakayas, there are still many choices, skewers, dumplings, ramen and sushi, etc. 🍣 Then we decided to go to Furaibo, which I had wanted to visit, and Teba Sake Izakaya is one of the best along with Sekai no Yama. 🏮
We ordered the signature Teba-sama (¥1166), which is 10 pieces for two people, and ordered grilled chicken skin (¥198), deep-fried chicken skin (¥462), Hatcho miso-grilled dumplings (¥462), and Teppanyaki tsukune (¥792).
The taste of Teba is quite strong in pepper and salt, the skin is fragrant and crispy, and the meat is soft and juicy. Although the taste is not amazing, it has a kind of charm. The more you eat, the more you like it. It is really first-class as a side dish. According to the instructions, first use the joint of the chicken wing tip, and then grab the other end and put it into your mouth. Sure enough, the whole piece of Teba meat can be taken out~
Another dish, Teppanyaki Tsukimi Tsukune, is a chicken burger on a teppan with an egg yolk on top and a thick, salty-sweet sauce. It looks like a giant chicken stick. The texture is accompanied by the refreshing cartilage, the fragrant egg yolk liquid and the sauce. It is a super delicious dish.
This dinner was unexpectedly very satisfying. The traditional famous food restaurant is indeed not in vain. 😜
