Without a doubt the best and most authentic way to see Hong Kong in all it’s glory is by riding the peak tram to the top and expriencing the rooftop viewing platform. A short walk from Admiralty station is the base station where you can buy tickets or scan pre paid QR codes, look out for sign posts along the way as it can be quite a confusing walk! Then board the tram and try and get a seat on the right hand side as that is the side you will see Hong Kong as you go up, even when we went on a very cloudy and misty day the view on the ascent was stunning. The tram also has a glass roof so you can take in the city as you sail though the super tall buildings, there are request stops along the way so the tram will stop for a few minutes at each one which is a great time for photos. If you buy the all in one package you get a return trip on the tram and access to the viewing platform on the roof, I would definitely advise this as it’s the optimal place for photos of the entire harbour. There are also coffee shops, restaurants and a few shops in the mall at the peak if you want to take a break before heading back down. Getting There - You can only drive or ride a motorcycle going to Ablayan Peak. If you have no car or motorbike, you can always rent one in the city or in town. Attractions - A beautiful 360° view. A cold temperature which makes you think you aren't in Cebu, Philippines. Hotels - There aren't any hotels around since it's not that popular yet. But, you can go camping instead. I'd like to try it next time. Food & Restaurants - There aren't any restaurants there but there is a small store nearby where you can buy some snacks. Better bring your own food. Shopping - Only a small store nearby. It's far from the market or malls. Ablayan Peak is located in Boljoon Cebu. It isn't a tourist spot yet so mostly locals in Boljoon only know about this. If you happen to go there just ask the locals as they are very friendly and will give you direction on how to get there. When travelling to Yangshuo I highly recommend visiting Ruyi Peak. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to where you reach the cross suspension bridge. Once you've crossed the bridge there are stairs which take you up to the peak point where you can get a stunning view of the mountains. You can then make your way down to the glass walkway bridge to take some photos sitting on the bridge. The hike will take you about 2-3hrs total. It was a beautiful day but extremely hot! Looking for a challenging hike somewhere in Asia where one is located in Taiwan called Mount He Huan where this is a mountain that has a total of more than 3000metres of climb and is the highest peak among all the other mountain in this region. This hike is not an east hike as the ascent towards the peak is non stop but gradual and well pathed. Its a total hike of 6km out and back to the parking lot from the Mt Hehuan service station. We decided to go on an adventure last weekend and visited the Lumipi Peak. At first we were so hesitant to proceed as we had difficulty in locating the place and the road going up was kinda narrow. Getting There - the easiest way to get there is a taxi, but if you leave near by you can also use your bike to get there Attractions - basically it's a long trail with mountain views, there's a cable car, a glass bridge, a sky walk ( similar to the glass bridge, but a bit scarier, as for me😅), beautiful bridge with red wishing strings, they even have a small place where you can feed deer. . Mot many people will think of India as the ideal vacation or hiking destination! I have been to Delhi, Chennai & Dhaka but Agasthyamalai in Tamil Nadu is one destination that deserve a shout out for outdoor adventures. We had a friend salin who we met during army back in singapore brought us for this amazing hike! It was said that this was one of the UNESCO site and is one of the highest peak here! The total hike is about 21km which took us 2 days as the elevation towards the last few kms was insanely steep and requires a certain amount of fitness. Thankfully with the help of the guides we were issued a balancing stick to help with our balance and also to reduce the effort in climbing up the peak. I do recommend for those that are wanting to try hikes in India, is to get a local guide who is able to translate and speak both India and English, some hikes in India also requires permit to climb which can be a hassle, but most of the guides here will settle all these administrative stuff which wouldn't be a problem! One should try a hike in India because the view of this at the peak is incredible and breathtaking. Colorado is a place for adventure seekers who love to scale up mountains. Colorado has an elevation of 2000m and many of the hikes here can be difficult due to the high elevation altitude air. There is a hike called Quandary Peak located at Mc Cullough Gulch Rd, Breckenridge, CO 80424, which is the start of the trial. I will warn you that as a season hiker myself this isn't something taken easy, the walk up is easy without much climbing of rocks, it's more of a gradual walk up, about 1km till the peak the rocks get bigger and you have the Fiddle your way up. Quandary Peak is the highest summit of the Tenmile Range in the Rocky Mountains of North America and is the most commonly climbed fourteener in Colorado. It has nearly the same elevation as Castle Peak and Mount Evans. This hike can be quite treacherous as it took me a total of 6-7 hours return. You will climb approx 3,450 feet with a total distance of approx 11km. This also includes the very thin air which causes you to go abit light headed at times. But with slow and consistent speed you will be able to make it up there. Make sure you bring food and water with you as this hike is really long and tiring. You would also want to take a good break at the top of the mountain to absorb the amazing views that you work so hard for. This is a very well trekked hike, so you do not need to worry, many people come here to hike even on weekdays. This is a relatively easy hike with an increase of elevation at the top of the mountain, this isn't wheel chair friendly as you will need to climb rocks on the way up. Rosa Khutor Peak is located in Krasnaya Polyana, part of the Caucasian ridge. You need to take the cable car to reach to the summit, elevation of 2320m. A must visit area if you are in Jeju island is definitely Seongsanilchulbong area. There is a peak that you can visit to get the overview of the area. There is a small fee. Also in this area we bought fresh orange juice. I highly recommend that you get this after your hike. It is a divine refreshment. Around the area there is a small beach that we were able to relax and watch and hear the water. Was not expecting the hike to be very short but still turns out to be a fast and easy hike overall. Weather was very good and cooling about 25 degrees in the afternoon. I did not start from the common start point I think. Had to cut through a cemetry with loads of staircase to climb. Pure steep climb for about 15 minutes almost out of breath! For easier path, Follow the slope of Cape Collinson Road. Started late so did not went all the way to Cave D'Aguilar.
