Balloons Missed, Memories Made: Turkey’s Magic
"Turkey — a place that felt like a dream and a promise. 🕌
Walking through the ancient heart of Istanbul, we stood in awe before the majestic Blue Mosque, where every tile tells a story.
Then we journeyed to the magical land of Cappadocia. Though the skies weren’t clear enough for a hot air balloon ride this time, the surreal landscapes and warm local vibes made it unforgettable.
Sometimes, not getting what you planned makes the trip more meaningful.
Now I just have a reason to return — to float above the valleys in a sea of balloons next time. 🎈
Grateful for the moments, and already dreaming of the next chapter.

Twin Jewels of Istanbul: The Hagia Sophia & Blue Mosque
The soft golden hues of the sunrise stretch across the sky, casting a warm glow over two grand mosques standing in serene silence. Their towering minarets pierce the pastel-colored dawn sky, while intricate domes reflect the early light. Between them, a tranquil courtyard glistens with dew, and soft shadows dance along the marble floors. Birds soar overhead, their silhouettes delicate against the rising sun, as the world slowly awakens in peace and reverence. #mosquevisit #istanbul #hagia_sophia #bluemosque
Spring Trip to Yerevan: Blue Mosque🍃
#springwander
April in Yerevan is the perfect time for sightseeing—the weather is mild, and the city feels so inviting! One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Blue Mosque, a peaceful and beautifully designed mosque in the heart of the city. The vivid blue tiles and intricate architecture were simply stunning.
Walking through the courtyard, I loved the contrast between the mosque’s serene atmosphere and the bustling city outside. It’s a great spot to take a break and admire the mix of Armenian and Persian influences. If you’re exploring Yerevan, don’t miss this hidden gem!
Why You Should Visit:
✔ Gorgeous blue-tiled architecture and peaceful atmosphere
✔ A unique cultural and historical site in Yerevan

Türkiye 🇹🇷Istanbul Blue Mosque
The Blue Mosque is a free attraction 😍😍
Many attractions in Istanbul charge a fee, and it’s very expensive 😵💫😵💫
So you must not miss this Blue Mosque 🤩🤩
The mosque is open every day 🕌️
But it is not open during prayer time, so you can wait and see the architecture on the outside
Remember not to wear shorts 🩳 when you visit
Girls have to wear a headscarf🧕 to cover their heads, if not, they can be borrowed from there
And you have to take off your shoes when you enter! 👞
The architecture inside is beautiful, the top of the mosque is painted with patterns👏🏻
There are many cats in it🐱

Blue Mosque: A Place of Peace and Beauty
#getgoing2025
The Blue Mosque is just as stunning in real life as it is in photos. The interior is a masterpiece of Islamic art, with its intricate blue tiles and massive chandeliers. I sat in the courtyard for a while, listening to the call to prayer and feeling a sense of peace that’s hard to describe. It’s not just a place of worship—it’s a symbol of Istanbul’s rich history and culture, and it’s absolutely worth visiting.

Location 📍Blue Mosque, Istanbul
Arrived in Istanbul, a city full of beautiful mosques from the golden age of Islam. This city was once the center of the great Ottoman Empire. One of the must-see attractions is the **Blue Mosque** or Sultan Ahmet Mosque, which stands out with its beautiful blue tiles. The interior is also magnificent. Getting there is very easy. You can take the metro or the bus, which is convenient and not difficult at all. #Get a discount without relying on luck #Turkey #istanbul #turkey #bluemosque
Fatih,Istanbul
THE TWO GREAT MOSQUES OF ISTANBUL AND THE GRAND BAZAR LIGHTS
The two buildings look across the crowded square at each other. Like Istanbul itself, they both divide and join the citizens and their history.
Represented within these two great landmarks is the core of the city’s heritage.
If the buildings were people, historical figures even, they would be eyeing each other off with an acceptance of contemporary diplomacy but with memories of a violent past.
Outside of the Topkapi is the Blue Mosque, a mosque built by Sultan Ahmet I who was only 12 when he became the Sultan. In 1609 at the age of 18 he hired an architect to build a mosque greater than the Hagia Sophia. It is a beautiful mosque, and has the unique feature of six minarets - the most of any we saw. The name comes from the blue tile which adorns most of the inside walls.

Incredible Istanbul
I recently returned from an incredible trip to Istanbul, a city where history and modernity seamlessly intertwine. One of the highlights of my visit was the iconic **Galata Tower**. This medieval stone tower, standing tall on the skyline, offers panoramic views of the Bosphorus and the sprawling city below. Climbing to the top was a journey in itself, with each floor revealing more about Istanbul’s rich past.
Beyond Galata, I explored the vibrant neighborhoods that make Istanbul so unique. **Sultanahmet** was a must-see, home to the majestic **Hagia Sophia** and the stunning **Blue Mosque**. Both landmarks are architectural marvels that capture the essence of Istanbul’s diverse cultural heritage. The grandeur of Hagia Sophia, with its massive dome and intricate mosaics, is truly awe-inspiring, while the Blue Mosque’s serene courtyard and blue-tiled interior offer a peaceful respite from the bustling city.
I also wandered through the historic **Grand Bazaar**, one of the world’s oldest and largest covered markets. The maze-like corridors were filled with shops selling everything from spices to jewelry. Bargaining with the local vendors was an experience in itself, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Another unforgettable experience was taking a **Bosphorus cruise**, where I could appreciate the city from a different perspective. The views of the palaces and the sprawling skyline were simply breathtaking.
Istanbul’s culinary scene is equally impressive. From savoring traditional Turkish delights at local eateries to enjoying fresh seafood by the Bosphorus, every meal was a feast for the senses.
My trip to Istanbul was an unforgettable blend of history, culture, and modern-day vibrancy—truly a city like no other.

Blue mosque 🗺️
a deep sense of peace and history. The pigeons that flock around the courtyard add a charming touch to the serene atmosphere. 🕊️
Nearby, you can explore the bustling bazaars of Mazar-e-Sharif, where you’ll find everything from traditional Afghan crafts to delicious local food. I highly recommend trying the kebabs and fresh bread from the street vendors. For history enthusiasts, the nearby ruins of Balkh, also known as the "Mother of Cities," are just a short drive away and offer a fascinating glimpse into ancient civilizations.
If you have more time, visiting the Ali Shrine Museum inside the Blue Mosque complex is a must. It houses some intriguing artifacts and provides deeper insights into the mosque’s history and significance.
Overall, Mazar-e-Sharif and the Blue Mosque are must-visit destinations in Afghanistan. The blend of history, culture, and beauty is unforgettable. #BlueMosque #MazarESharif #AfghanAdventure #TravelGoals 🕌🇦🇫

Right across from the magnificent Hagia Sophia stands the beautiful Blue Mosque! 💙🕌
In 2023, I got to visit both mosques, and I found the Blue Mosque to be especially tranquil and lovely. 🤲🏼✨
Inside, there are guides who can answer your questions about the mosque or about the Islamic practices observed inside the mosque. ☪️
The outside architecture is incredibly detailed and stunning, and boasts a large courtyards where tourists gather and wait in line.
Inside, the large domed ceilings allow for light to flood in, drawing attention to the intricate decorations. 🕌
The Blue Mosque is an incredible experience, which will transport you into a state of peace and awe. 💙
I hope I can visit the Blue Mosque again in 2024!

Good Time
Mosque was under going renovations, but still beautiful from the outside and the parts of the dome that were exposed. Upon arrival lots of people try to offer unofficial advice and help and pressure you to visit their shops afterwards but they are friendly and generally accept “no” as an answer. Head scarves and skirts given out free for single use entry for women which is a requirement but men can dress however. Shoes must be removed as in most mosques. Free entry and beautiful gardens. Doesn’t take long to walk through but a beautiful and historical place of worship. Non-Muslims and Christians were allowed to enter. #bluemosque #istanbul #turkey #mosque
🇲🇾 Johor Bahru | Be enchanted by the beauty of the Blue Mosque
#AbsolutelyFreeTrip
I went to the Blue Mosque in Johor Bahru and was surprised at how much more beautiful it was than I had imagined! The blue and white exterior stands out against the sky and is truly picturesque. I couldn't go inside, but even from the outside it has an overwhelming presence. It seems that tourists usually take photos in front of the main gate, so I took a great one too 📷✨ Mosques are sacred spaces, but just looking at them from the outside like this made me feel calm.

🇬🇧 Johor Bahru | Captivated by the Beautiful Blue Mosque
I visited the Blue Mosque in Johor Bahru and was honestly blown away by how stunning it looked! The blue-and-white color scheme popped against the sky, making it picture-perfect. Although we couldn’t go inside, the exterior alone had such a powerful presence. Locals and tourists alike often stop by the main gate to snap some photos – and of course, I did too! Even just viewing it from the outside gave a peaceful, spiritual vibe.

Turkey 🇹🇷 - Where East Meets West
Istanbul is known for its unique position as a city that straddles two continents—Europe and Asia—divided by the Bosphorus Strait. It's historically rich and culturally vibrant, famous for:
1. Historic landmarks: Including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar.
2. Byzantine and Ottoman heritage: The city was once the capital of the Byzantine Empire (as Constantinople) and later the Ottoman Empire.
3. Bosphorus views and ferry rides: Offering stunning scenery and connecting the European and Asian sides.
4. Culinary diversity: Turkish cuisine, from street food like simit and döner to rich dishes like meze and baklava.
5. Cultural fusion: A blend of Eastern and Western traditions in architecture, art, music, and daily life.
A fantastic destination for anyone who loves ancient cities infused with a modern vibe and endless places to explore. #travel #istanbul #bluemosque #hagia_sophia
Wandering Around the Blue Mosque: Like a Movie Scene!
Walking outside the Blue Mosque in Istanbul felt like I had stepped right into a dreamy, golden postcard.
The sun was shining, the sky was that perfect shade of blue, and there she was — the Blue Mosque — looking all majestic with her huge domes and six towering minarets reaching up like they wanted to tickle the clouds!
The courtyard outside is seriously stunning. Giant stone archways, marble floors, and an open sky that made everything feel even bigger and grander.
I strolled slowly, taking a million photos (because honestly, how could you not?), and just soaking in the beauty.
Pigeons fluttered around, kids giggled as they chased them, and the whole place buzzed with this soft, happy energy.
It’s that kind of place where you just want to spin around with your arms wide open because everything feels so beautiful and so BIG.
If you ever visit Istanbul, trust me — take your time outside the Blue Mosque. It's pure magic!
