Blue Point Beach: A True Southern Beauty! Location: I found this gem in Southern Bali, specifically Blue Point Beach. The Experience: I'd describe it as "super beautiful, super blue glass-like water." As I descended the stairs to the bottom, I was greeted by giant rocks on both sides, where waves powerfully crashed. This made for incredible photos, but I wisely had to be careful when taking pictures, and if you can't swim, avoid getting swept away by the waves. For Surfers: If you're a swimmer and love to surf, I'd say it's definitely a spot worth trying out! Dining with a View: After my photoshoot at the bottom, I headed back up the stairs to a restaurant boasting absolutely stunning ocean views. We recently stayed at The Ayodya Palace, couldn’t fault it, tremendous staff hardworking and very polite and really couldn’t do enough for us, and this was evident all around, suite room was spacious and comfortable. We took a couple days out with a splendid driver who came recommended to us, thanks to Gede, we visited a few attractions during the day tour in Ubud, 1st stop of the morning was Artika’s Silversmith, where we were shown how they make some jewellery, lovely intricate designs and of course they had a shop that the Wife had to visit she had a good barter session with the store assistant and the deal was done, we moved onto a Coffee plantation in Celak tasting local beverages and a swing over the drop and another shop visit and purchased a bag of Coffee, we drove another 45 mins onto to the gorgeous Tegallalang rice terraces for more stunning scenery and another swing, they like swings here and influencer’s are attracted like bee’s to honey in their hired brightly coloured flowing dresses. We were getting hungry by now so Gede had arranged a floating brunch in the pool at Tlaga Singha Spa retreat magnificent is all I can say. For us it was our 1st marriage anniversary and we wanted to celebrate it in this fancy restaurant . Food 🥘 : The menu is in form of packages with 7 to 10 dishes served in small portions. Most of the dishes are seafood dishes plus a kids menu which can only be ordered for a kid . Prices are from 80$ for the cheapest package (Vegetarian) to some that reaches 250$ with drinks . In my opinion , I didn’t really enjoy all the dishes but some of them were good and you’d like to have more than just the small portion given to you . Atmosphere 🐟🐠: Literally the best thing about this restaurant is the vibe and atmosphere all around it . Having lunch/ dinner next to a giant aquarium filled with all various types of fish and even some small sharks is absolutely amazing. They also had a diver that goes around inside waving at us and posing for photos Service 👩🍳: The service was fairly good . The staff guided us well when checking the menu and explained us the concept of the restaurant and each package. They also provided a brief description of each dish was served . This hotel is very close to all the fun and most important right next to the beach. You can rent bikes to get around faster. There are also boats and other water sports available which you need to pay apart. Nusa Dua is rich with large scale resorts and Sofitel does not disappoint! It's a great family resort with plenty for the kids to do, without the hefty price tag some of the other resorts down the road can come with. Althought the resort is a little dated they do a good job at upkeeping it. They have a comprehensive breakfast buffet and direct access to the beach (with great service!) This is an open-themed cafe or restaurant which is near Water blow one of Nusa Dua's tourist attractions. This cafe is mostly the best for kids. It has an open are where kids can play or do some activities like swing or climbing the small tree houses and others. As adults it is also good to dine since it is open air and near the beach so it is refreshing and relaxing. You can choose the space outside or inside.
