Talonga zoo is great place to discover Australian animals and stunning view which you can over see Opera and bridge from Talonga zoo. Take Ferry from Circular quay wharf 6, ferry will take to you to Zoo about 10mins which is sightseeing cruise. take Bus (2dollers) to get to main entrance of zoo or walk 3mins to lower level of entrance. Zoo is huge! I recommend to see “Australia animals area” there is no lattice cage, by small distance you will see Koala, Kangaroo,Emu! There is art everywhere in Taichung city, Taiwan. One of it is absolutely the National Taichung Theater. It is simply a beauty. Designed by the legendary Toyo Ito, this place was straight out of a dream. The swooping curves and how it blended with the surroundings was like something from another planet. The lush greenery, serene ponds, and picture-perfect gardens all harmonizing with the stunning architecture. It was like nature giving the theater a big hug. Calling all art enthusiasts! This place is buzzing with art and cultural vibes. Artists and performers from all over come here to showcase their talent. The calendar is packed with mind-blowing performances, exhibitions, and cool workshops. There are year-long exquisite and artsy souvenirs for sale at the foyer. We spent half a day (not even watching a show) strolling in the building, admiring and shopping for those locally produced merchandises and souvenirs. It was so therapeutic. It can be from 100-1000¥, it depends on which part of the hall you want to sit. You can buy the tickets from the tickets office or online using their mini program. I noticed that the pressure of children living abroad is not as much as in Hong Kong. Getting on a boat is a great way to view it from another angle and you get some great pictures from there, so take the ferries for a scenic ride! Chill walks by the Sydney Opera House There’s something about Sydney that just hits differently. No matter how many times you walk by the Opera House, it still feels special every single time. I didn’t plan anything fancy, just decided to wander around Circular Quay with a coffee in hand, soaking it all in. Watching ferries come and go, street musicians playing, people from everywhere smiling and taking it all in — it just feels so alive. The Opera House itself is even more impressive up close. Those white sails, the way they catch the light — photos never really do it justice. It’s a vibe you have to experience yourself. I ended up sitting on the steps for a while, just people-watching and taking a breather. Sometimes, it’s the unplanned moments that turn into the best memories. Review: A Weekend in Sydney Sydney is a vibrant city that effortlessly blends natural beauty with urban excitement, making it the perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Accommodation: We stayed in a central hotel in the CBD, offering easy access to many of the city’s top spots. The hotel was comfortable and modern, with a great view of the city skyline. Being close to public transport made it easy to explore. A 3 day long weekend consisted of exploring circular quay with spotting landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the beautiful harbour with all the cruise ships coming into port. Also exploring the botanical gardens, Hyde park and enjoying a spot of luxury shopping down Pitt street. Visiting the war memorial and exploring the history of Sydney with the random but intriguing artworks displays throughout the streets. Overall: Sydney offers the perfect mix of iconic landmarks, beautiful beaches, and a lively arts scene. It’s a city that can be as energetic or as relaxing as you want it to be. Even though our trip was brief, we managed to see so much, and it left us wanting to come back for more.
