I had a good stay at Scandic Grand Tromsø for one night in a double bed room. The room was comfortable, and the hotel offered a great balance of convenience and amenities. Breakfast was included, with a nice selection of options to start the day. The hotel features a snack bar in the lobby, and a laundry room that is free to use, though with a limited number of machines—a useful addition for longer stays. The shuttle bus service from the hotel to the airport also made transportation hassle-free. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with good facilities. The hotel is near Tromsø Domkirke and well-located in the city area, making it a convenient choice for visitors to Tromsø. I would definitely recommend it! #tromsø

one of the most favourite tourist destination in Tromso. it is a definitely must go. the view is awesome! it is only a short 4 mins ride to the top. there is a cafe where you can chill and relax while waiting for sunset. the city lights are incredibly pretty. There is a cafe on the top offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but with limited selection of foods. Heading up#tromsø#norway at night there are chances to catch northern light if you are lucky.

"About Chasing Light" #February Good Places 2025 #Aurora #Snowscapes #tromsø #skiing #relaxation Compared to Narvik, Tromso is a lively Aurora town with many tourists, many attractions, and many smoke smells😄 Share the activities we played: 1️⃣ Light chasing group When you come to the popular Aurora town, of course you have to follow the next group to catch up with the light. We took the bus to a suburb with mountains, the starry sky is beautiful, more unfortunately we did not encounter the aurora eruption, the pictures came out so beautiful, but the naked eye can not actually see, only vaguely white and light green. This light chasing group stayed outdoors for four hours, super super super windy, freezing cold, tripods have to be short to stand, too high will be unstable by the wind. Because it is a popular town, I read online that there are many Aurora tours, I chose this because it said that sausages were provided to eat, but in the end there was no😂 Departure and return time was reasonable. PS.If it hits the day of the aurora outbreak, the city can see the same. There are many dimly lit locations in the city that are suitable for viewing the aurora. 2️⃣ Cruise and fishing tour Amazing! “Scared” was that the wind and waves were so strong that day that the boat rocked so hard that it almost submerged the whole boat! Fortunately, we are not afraid of sea sickness. If you are prone to dizziness, you must take medicine! “Happy” is the weather is beautiful, the scenery is good, and the photos are quite beautiful! We signed up for this group including biscuits and drinks all-you-can-eat 😄 Lunch is fish soup, enough to be full! Bring your own food if necessary. You can fish and play chess on the boat, which is quite relaxing. 3️⃣Cross-country skiing We chose a tour that gathers and plays within the city park, we recommend that you sign up for others 😀 I personally find cross-country skiing quite fun and a must try for local activity! But the instructor of this tour was too hea, some people in the group couldn't grasp it, some people tripped, and they didn't help. Plus, despite the said experience time 3 hours, but the last 2 hours is over. The equipment provided is very simple. It is recommended to play, but can sign up for a better tour. Tromso is very different from Narvik. more lively Easy to buy souvenirs. Much more restaurants. but…. The wind is much stronger. The ground floor is much slippery. The snow is so dirty 😂 The aurora in the fjord is beautiful in its own way! If you want to visit McDonald's, the northernmost place in the world, We're going to come to the town of Tromso 🤣🤣 (he also has postcards to buy)

In a small town at 69ºN you will find the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen! A wonderful small cathedral situated on a hill. The cathedral was built on 19 November, 1965. A glass mosaic titled "The Return of Christ" was added in 1972. It's a very unique landmark of Tromso. We walked from city centre and crossing the iconic bridge connecting to the other side of the city. You will not regret by doing so as the panoramic view while crossing the bridge is just too awesome! It's could be very cold during the journey, remember to wear more layer to keep yourself warm! #wheretogo #tromsø

#skansen sits in one one of the oldest area of #tromsø, the old warfs. Houses in the area are from the middle of the 19th century and streets are cobbled. One get a sense of the life here in the cold artic night almost two centuries ago. #happynewyear
