We found this romantic lookout spot during our winter trip to Hokkaido, and it instantly became one of our favorite memories. Lotus Mountain is located in Panyu, approx 30km from Guangzhou, making it an easy day trip from the city. Attractions - Ancient Quarry Relics, Lotus Pagoda, bronze Guanyin statue and many beautiful gardens and lakes. Getting There - Very easy to get to by didi/taxi, search: Lotus Mountain Tourist Area. Ersha Island Ersha Island is small island located in Guangzhou, along the Pearl River. It is roughly 3 km long and hosts an abundance of beautiful gardens and leafy green spaces, making it the perfect place for a picnic. 🌳🌿🌸 Because of it's close proximity to downtown, it is very easy to order lunch or a snack straight to the park or you can quickly duck into Corner Deli to pick up your favourite picnic snacks. And yes, there are 2 Starbucks ☕ on the island. 😂🧺🥪🍎 Feeling active? Ersha has a running and walking track which loops around the island (approx 5km). Continue along the waterfront and enjoy a leisurely stroll to the Shanghai International Port. If you go down to the southern part of the jinji lake you will come upon the breathtaking location and that is the ligongdi area. it is an extremely beautiful and high class area from which you can watch the sun set. On this day I went for coffee in one of the many coffee shops in this area, and afterwards I decided to pick my camera and take as may shots as I could of this area and to be honest I didn’t have to look too far. you have a great view of the gate of the orient, and the IFS tower as well. #sentosacove in #singapore makes a very pretty place to catch a scenic sunset. From the jetty and broad walk, you can catch a sunset in the distance with beautiful views of the yacht and jetty and also in the distance you can view the sun setting through the hills and also the CBD. At the same time, there is a chill out vibe at the place. You can catch the sunset from a stroll around the jetty, or you can wait at one of the cafes or bars like Boaters bar which is nearby and still see the same view. If you get lucky and clear skies and the right timing, you can also catch the moon at the same time. Different types of trees and other plants, waterfalls, streams, gardens and magnificent views of Tbilisi from the hilltops are hypnotizing. Be prepared to walk a lot up and down the hills though. Take a water bottle and some snacks if you want to spend a whole day there. There are various walking trails. You may start with any of them and the path will lead you to the next spot naturally. You may take a cab to Old Tbilisi and then walk a little bit through the city before getting to your destination. I was there in September and there were almost no people, very quiet and nice.

The sun was shining and it was a glorious day as we set off on our 16km cycle to Fuli Bridge from our hotel. After around an hour of cycling, we arrived at Fuli Bridge. All in all, we spent around 10 minutes there. But why?! All the reviews mention how gorgeous it is! So peaceful! Gorgeous? Kind of. Peaceful? Hell no. When you arrive, you’re greeted by around 30 market stalls all selling various hats, random T-shirt’s and ice creams. There’s also the option to ride a raft 10 minutes up the river (that’s being generous) before turning around and coming back to shore. We were treated to a man using a microphone and what can only be described as the loudest speaker in the world to sing out of time and off key to a variety of songs. He was deafening. He had placed himself on the bottom of the bridge, so there was no escaping. I took several videos of him, but unfortunately I can’t post those as well. If you’d like to hear the monstrosity, please check out my other review! The bridge was beautiful, and then backdrop stunning. There’s no denying that. But the outdoor, one man band and the commercialism of the rafts and market stalls ruined the tranquility of the area. A true shame! A silver lining; friends of ours have also visited and were not treated to KTV.
