Very nice resort with very friendly staff for small budget. The coral reef in front of the hotel is magnificent and beautiful. The hotel is clean. Ignore the complaints and bad comments. If you want to have a luxurious vacation you gotta pay for it! We paid very little for the whole trip so we didn't expect much, but we were positively surprised. The only annoying thing were some of the guests that were very badly behaving towards the staff. They seem to have bad manners at home which they seem not be ashamed of to exhibit in front of others and because of the this the staff apologised to us countless times even though it was not their fault. Definitely a good place if you like to snorkel in a stunning coral reef. Don't expect to much from the food, but some of the booking restaurants have good food for dinner. Most is all-inclusive, they have some extra that you have to pay for. You don't need to spend anything extra if you want to. Tipping is no issue. I recently stayed atDreams beach in sharm, the hotel itself is good looking enough…. However the food is absolutely unbeilable i have never tasted something so bland in my life….. avoid at all costs, all restaurants here are truly terrible with all the food tasting like nothing, the only dish to half redeems this resorts terrible cuisine was in the fish restaurant and that was only just ok. Spent 8 days in Sharm el Sheikh with family members . This was my third trip to Egypt. Chosen Novotel hotel this time . Traditional “ lazy-under-winter-sun” AI holiday . Hence it is all about comfort, food, leisure. All three categories were 4 out of 5. All because there are two parts in Novotel: beach side (more premium and pricy) vs Palm ( max 3*). Please be warned - two parts are very different! Palm guests are NOT allowed to eat in Beach side restaurants which are way above Palm. The bars and beach are in common use. Grand Oasis Resort is a place next to Soho square and the next resort in the area Four Seasons. Big territory which careful tended every day by an army of gardeners. Lovely private beach with easy access and own rief. We saw the life Murena with our own eyes yesterday! Food is ok, drinks are poor, no decent entertainment.
