I was able to visit Tainan thanks to a school-admin trip! After the official duties, I broke away from the group and roamed around Anping — DIY again. What I did: 👣First Night 📍Self check-in at Tainan Here Hostel Anping (booked via Trip.com) 👣Walk around the area, and visited 📍Navy Destroyer Deyang Ship Park 📍Lin Mo-niang Park 📍Historic Harborside Park Park 📍Anping Fisherman's Wharf 🛥️Took a night boat Tour at Anping Fisherman’s Wharf (NTD 300-500) 🚌 Took a bus back to the hostel Next Day 🔑Checked out of the hostel 👣Walked to the bus stop -- but since the bus was taking too long, I booked an Uber taxi instead (NTD 75) 📍ANPING TREE HOUSE --- Explored the area – it’s amazing how the trees have intertwined with the buildings --- Tried the wasabi rice crackers at 安平 樹屋咖啡館 (the cafe inside - they also sell ice cream) 📍ANPING OLD STREET --- Trinkets here and there --- Food here and there 📍ANPING OLD FORT (aka Fort Zeelandia) --- checked out the Zeelandia City Museum --- was amazed at this old remnant of Taiwan City Wall (what if I get transported to another time when I touch it?) --- Roamed in it and explored the history of the place --- Bought some souvenirs at the gift shop inside (Zeelandia Store) #tainan #exploretaiwan #anpingfort #anpingtreehouse #tainantrip #sabbytravels

Jiufen Old Street is one of the most popular destination in Taipei. I went with bus from Ximending. There are so many traditional food and souvenir shops. I tried Taro Ball Soup, steamed taro and sweet potato balls mixed with mung- and kidney beans. I also tried one of Jiufen’s famous foods, the Shaved Peanut ice Cream Burrito. It’s very unique and yummy! The place is also instagramable, and surrounded by mountain view. I love the infrastructure, it’s very well arrange. #taipei #taiwan #exploretaiwan #Juifenoldstreet

Getting There - Take a flight to Kaohsiung & transit via a taxi/private car. ✔️ Attractions - Basically Kenting is all about resorts, beaches & the night markets. 🏖🛤 Hotels - I stayed in Cesaer Park Hotel (it’s like a resort) Food & Restaurants - The best will be their night market! Taiwan milk tea is the best. I had it everyday. 😍 Beef cubes are available as well! other than that, their 7-11 has lots of variety of snacks and milk tea. (kinda different from Singapore 7-11) Shopping - Kenting has not much shopping. More chilling and relaxing area.
