I have seen a temples, museums, parks, pedestrian streets in the center of cities. Well this is the time to go to the beach. The Qingdao Seashore Scenic Area is an open scenic spot, consisting of six parts: Qingdao Bay, Huiquan Bay, Taiping Hill, Badaguan Scenic Area, the Eastern New City Area and Shilaoren Tourist Holiday Resort. The major scenic spots include Zhan Bridge, Luxun Park, Small Qingdao Island, Xiaoyu Hill, Baihua Garden, Huiquan Square, May 4th Square (Wusi Square), Music Square, Yan'erdao Park, No.1, No.2, No.3, No.6 Bathing Beach, Binhai Sidewalk. It's more than 20 km long. It's still not too hot, the weather is excellent and as you can see it's not too crowded either. I breathed in the pleasant, cool, humid sea air. Let’s go on a day trip. This time, to the beach town of Cascáis, located about an hour’s train ride from Lisbon. This charming seaside town feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, even though it’s within the Lisbon metropolitan area. It’s part of what has been dubbed the Portuguese riviera but it hasn’t been saturated by tourism. Your first stop has to be finding and admiring the Santa Maria lighthouse. With its blue and white stripes, this lighthouse really makes for the picture postcard view. Set back in a little cove, it’s not unusual to find people swimming here in these serene surroundings. The town has many pretty buildings and a cool, laid back vibe. The perfect place to wander around and relax. With cascáis being located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, a walk along the coast line is a must whilst visiting this town. Watching the waves roll and sometimes crash in from the Atlantic is a spectacular sight. I felt like I could spend hours here pondering over the natural beauty that can be found in life. A word of caution if you get too close to the waves though - you could end up soaked! I enjoyed all of this whilst jetting away with just a backpack - no suitcases in sight! One essential that I always have to take with me is my camera - in this instance, a Sony Alpha 7 IV. Summer is approaching. If you want to experience the island life in Taiwan, Xiao Liuqiu is the place to go. I love being in the ocean and my favorite thing to do here is experiencing the SUP (Standup Paddle-boarding) and swimming in the ocean. 🌊SUP experience👙 It’s beginner friendly. Standing on the board makes me feel so free. You can even do yoga on the board to challenge your ability to balance. Actually you just need to sync yourself with the ocean. The Sumida Aquarium is a must stop if you are visiting Tokyo with small children, it’s an amazing family friendly experiences that gives you a glimpse of the wonders in the deep blue sea. It is located in the base of the Tokyo Skytree and you can access it from the giant mall that anchors them both, the two nearest metro stations both have signage for the aquarium and the sky tree. I bought my ticket as a combo with the skytree and given it’s urban location I went in with pretty low expectations, safe to say I was blown away! It was amazing, a well thought-out aquarium both visually and educationally. It has a wide range of underwater creates and enough information to help you fully understand their habitat, food chain and history. It’s also an incredible place to visit if you have children that are very driven by sensory stimulation, the use of lights in particular I found very calming but engaging. The aquarium follows a walk through layout and you meander through the smaller exhibits between the larger tanks, the main ones being the tank with the shark and the penguin experience. MY favourite area by far was the jellyfish corridor, hundreds of stunning jellyfish of all different shapes, sizes and colours moving in a huge swarm. This was my first time solo-travel to Taitung. It is a beautiful place that I will visit again and again. I made a lot of good friends at the hostel and during the swim in the ocean. I love the view on the way here by train, and I love that how the eastern Taiwan still preserves nature really well. You get to taste the rawness and beauty of nature but also the warmness from the people there. 📍East Coast Fugang Geopark (Xiaoyeliu) It’s a very good place if you are interested in geology and want to learn more about the geography in Taiwan. There are also many beautiful rocks. It is a place that brings you peace and tranquility. 📍Dulan Sugar Factory Café and Art Gallery You can see the sugar factory and learn about the history of the old age. There is also a lot of indigenous art work displayed there. 🌊Most of the time here I spent time with my friends in the ocean swimming and surfing. Santorini, Greece, is a very popular Greek island surrounded by the Aegean Sea, boasting natural scenery and a blue ocean! This time, I came here to embark on this sea exploration journey! I specifically took a wooden boat from the Old Port to the volcanic island of Nea Kameni near Santorini. This wooden boat is also very large and features the Greek flag! Upon landing on this island, you can see a lot of volcanic mud and the vast ocean, offering a very beautiful view! I highly recommend taking a boat to the volcanic island when you visit Santorini, Greece. It is definitely worth it!

Keri Caves is one of the most beautiful places to visit! Crystal clear waters, clear enough to see the colourful fish beneath you. Perfect place to do snorkelling or scuba diving, I had an amazing time trying to spot all the different types fish. 🐠 Breathtaking views over the beautiful blue sea and stunning sunsets make this a wonderful experience that will stay with you. I 100% would like to visit the keri caves again it was honestly breathtaking. 🌅 In order to visit the caves you have to go by boat but there are plenty of organised trips from nearby towns. You are also allowed to rent a boat without a licence.Some of the caves are big enough to allow a boat to enter. In others you can swim from the entrance to the inside. 🚤 If you are visiting Zakynthos I would highly recommend spending your day/evening visiting here. We visited a small park near the islet of Vila Franca, located in Vila Franca do Campo, a charming town in the southern part of São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal. The islet, less than 1 km from the park, is uninhabited and primarily composed of basalt. It serves as a popular spot for recreational activities such as cliff diving and snorkeling during the summer. The islet features an almost perfectly circular bay with a diameter of 150 meters and is one of the nature reserves in the Azores. During our visit, the weather was cloudy and rainy. Hon Chong Beach in Nha Trang is a coastal destination known for its stunning natural beauty and unique geological formations. Here, visitors can experience a picturesque seascape characterized by rugged rocks and clear turquoise waters. Location: Located about 4 kilometers north from Nha Trang city center, it is an easy ride to get to by a cab or a motorbike along the main coastal road. Hon Chong boasts a large area of rocks with a variety of unique shapes lying on the shore. It is surrounded by the mountains and highlighted by the serene beach with an incredible shade of gentle blue. Hon Chong Beach is sheltered from the impact of the wind by several multi-sized islands offshore. Hence, it is considered a safe place for tourists to visit. Even during rainy season when Nha Trang beach is very windy with high waves, there are days when Hon Chong beach is still very calm, almost lake-like. It is a great place to practice swimming and when there are waves, for surfing. The Promontory: Hon Chong Promontory comprises two clusters of rocks. One is called Hon Chong (meaning “Husband” in Vietnamese) and the other is Hon Vo (meaning “Wife” in Vietnamese). Hon Chong cluster is the larger one which features an intriguing giant five-fingered hand embedded on a boulder. Notably, the layout of rocks at Hon Chong is rather unusual. The stones naturally sit on one another, which creates layers of rocks that can withstand the fierceness of the climate and the sea for years to come. Additionally, at Hon Chong Promontory Nha Trang, you will find two rocks standing upright with another big rock stuck in between that looks like a big stone gate. Opening hours & entrance fee: The Hon Chong beach is always open and free but to view the rocks, there is an entrance fee. This area is open for visitors from 7am to 7pm every day, but it is usually most crowded between 4-5pm. The ticket price is currently 22,000 VND/adult and 11,000 VND/child. Opened in 2017, Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory is a 72.5-m observation deck which stands 20 m above the sea located at one end of Cheongsapo fishing village in Haeundae, Busan. The area used to be a deserted site of an old train line. It was recently redeveloped into Haeundae Blueline Park which consists of beach train and sky capsule for tourism purposes. Daritdol Observatory is at the fourth stop of the Haeundae beach train starting from Mipo station. We walked 600 m from Cheongsapo station to the observatory instead as we didn't take the beach train. From afar, the observatory looked like a blue dragon stretching out over the ocean. As we walked towards the end of the observatory, part of the floor was made of transparent glass which adds to the thrill of walking above the sea. CALAGUAS is the best of the best! 🌊 Visited this place with friends back in 2016 and I was astonished. This place is amazingly beautiful! 💎 Getting there wasn’t easy since it took us a few hours of boat ride but it was all worth it! I have been to most of the famous beaches and islands in the Philippines but this one is really different. It’s not crowded at all. They have the best sunrise and sunset, it is calm and quiet, there is peace, the beach is really clean, the sand is fine and the water is crystal clear! Everything is picturesque! 🌅 No editing needed!
