Definitely one of the best exclusive hotel I've stayed in. Room is extremely clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Traffic sound is minimal, faint sound of those loud exhaust cars and motors can be heard occasionally. Rooms are well appointed, and the housekeeping was one of the fastest in response time that I have seen. Asked for more bottled water and it was at our door within minutes. The staff are generally nice and friendly, especially the concierge and security staff. Great location connected directly to the pavilion mall. Honestly the single greatest hotel stay we think we will ever have! Every second detail was absolutely incredible and we could not recommend this place more for a luxury stay in KL. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city near to the Petronas Twin Towers and city center. Excellent customer service from a staff that is warm and supportive. and beyond to make you feel welcome and assist you with everything. The price for the bedroom that I stay is a bit pricey but worth it for having a good time holiday. Our room was perfect, with an amazing view of the Patronas towers and just all those little touches that made it feel like home. If you have any appreciation for the arts or Islamic history or history in general, I highly recommend visiting this museum. There are many examples of beautiful architecture, history, and culture shown and so much information to take in. I would make time for about 3-5 hours depending on how much you'd like to dive deep into all the museum has to offer. I learned a great deal and took plenty of pictures that will keep as a memory and as my own personal history books. Islamic art has its own beauty, it is often simple, geometric and yet rich. But if you look into the details then there is a wealth of complexity that often leave you astounded. The Islamic Arts Museum showcases that really well while taking the visitors through a logical sequence of the art forms and of the different eras. This really is a great place to visit in the weekend if you're short of things to do. It doesn't need to break your wallet, as the entry is only RM14 for some of the amazing artefacts that's on offer here. The building itself is to behold. I'm not artistic person, but it is a nice place to chill out and can try to understand the drawings from the arts perspective. It also has a gift shop that has various authentic souvenirs for you to buy. Sometimes, it will hold some art exhibition and events there. No entrance fees are required. Amazed to see different forms of art that were on display inside. The gallery located at the 5th floor where you can find the gift shop at the opposite direction. Since the art show is a curated series, personally for me this time it's a decent collection. Like most galleries, you can photograph the art piece without flash. The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. I have had an amazing experience here. The staff are very friendly and informative. The architecture is very pleasing to the eye, even when viewing the building from a distance. I booked a studio room and it was lovely and spacious for such an affordable price. It all the facilities needed for the room like towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, hair dryer, iron and board, spacious cupboard, water kettle, it even got washing machine cum dryer for wash and dry clothes. Villa Samadhi is a hidden gem in city centre, oasis inside the town. An ideal place for a quick retreat with the loved one. Spacious room with in room jacuzzi at court yard, and it is heated in the evening and night. Private and exclusive, calm and peaceful. Great ambient with Bali vibes. I enjoyed my time in the villa. The National Maritime Museum is a maritime museum in Greenwich, London. It is part of Royal Museums Greenwich, a network of museums in the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site. There were plenty of interactive activities for the kids around the museum. Full of historic artifacts. The world map area on the 1st floor was also interesting with the Posideon giving out the Interesting facts about the places. The ship-steering stimulator was also great. Overall a nice day out. Kensington Palace has been the residence of the royal family since the seventeenth century. Charles and Diana lived there. It is now the home of Prince William and Princess Kate. A yew fence has been planted around the property, which allows for a bit more privacy. You'll spend about an hour walking through the palace and then probably another hour at the gardens. I wish there was more historical information about the palace during the tour but it mostly highlights newer fashion. Great zoo, well planned out and loads animals to see. I really liked that most of the animals had free-range pavilions like the monkeys and birds,because I've seen in other zoos cages can be small. Some of the highlights of my recent visit include the apes, the tigers and lions, and the penguins too. There is plenty of information and talks on the animals, and it’s a surprisingly large zoo considering it’s location. All the staff were extremely helpful and shared some facts about the animals. This is a wonderful museum with a spectacular permanent collection and interesting rotating exhibits. It's totally free to get in and they allow you to take pictures of all the art as long as you do not use flash photography. The staff is friendly, free parking is available across the street and pay to park spots are all around. The cafe has a nice selection and in warm weather, a cute little outdoor area to eat. The gift shop offers many things worth taking a look at. They also offer varied programs for aspiring artists and people who simply appreciate art. You can even bring your own supplies and paint in the main gallery. It’s an educational day out for all .The museum is at South Lake Union neighborhood and the building itself was a historic Naval Reserve Armory. The Underground Tour of Seattle, offers an educational and captivating journey through the city's hidden history, making it well worth the cost. Their staff did a great job showing us the underground tunnels. They did a great job explaining the history of how the tunnels came to be and what each area that we were in was way back when. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. After hearing some of the stories of the early days it's amazing the city made it out of 1800s at all. You get to see the underground sections of several different buildings and some have pictures of what they looked like before the streets were raised for perspective. It is a lot of stairs so be prepared for that. I highly recommend for tourists and Seattleites alike! Absolutely amazing collection of art pieces. This is a small space, but packed with lovely works. The building and spaces are fantastic, such beautiful architecture. They have so many unique and interesting pieces to see and learn about. I love that everything is captioned, the staff is very friendly, and the place is very organized and clean. This museum is trip back in the past. I was amazed at how they were able to maintain these pieces. This museum was originally a doctors house and you get to see some of that history. Such an amazing little piece of history. You can listen to old records and learn about how the music was delivered to people’s houses before Spotify was a thing. Definitely recommend going early as the space is small and it can be tricky getting pictures without other people around. A small museum showcasing the early airline industry. It’s free to enter when it’s open but does not have too much in the way of exhibits. I really think the museum can improve the quantity and quality of its exhibits because it’s a pretty nice space. The museum focus is the development of commercial aviation, with obvious focus on the West Coast. Wonderful permanent as well as rotating displays. Also has a library and collection devoted to aviation. Exploratorium is fun for all ages, with tons of interactive exhibits that demonstrate a range of scientific concepts. Fun for all ages and not too expensive. This is one of the best experiential center I have ever visited with wide range of interactive displays like playing with lights, transforming kinetic energy, giant bubbles, magnetic sand, dancing water droplets, infinity mirror, other science facts demonstrated in a fun way. This is a hidden gem of San Jose. Small museum but very well kept with interesting textile art. You would have to come here and appreciate the artwork of these artists. The quilt technique and the fabrication that they used are incredibly intricate Some were visually stunning, others with gorgeous handmade textiles or even paper, still others displayed incredible quilting craftsmanship. Most artists specified the meaning or message of their work, which deepened out appreciation. Gift shop is small and cute and it comes with a nice sturdy hand made bag made by volunteers when you buy something.
