Well maintained place, minimalist and glamping. Close to the river, or you can just dip into the chalet's own pond ( suitable for children ). The chalet is built beautifully with wood as main materials. They also provide barbeque kitchen for you to cook. Close to Terra Pong Restaurant. About 8 minutes drive. One of the best option to choose from for dinner. Open air musolla. No praying mat provided in the chalet, but you can take it from the musolla. Nice and cosy place. Great place to have meal if you're travelling to Bentong. Waze is the correct app to direct us to the correct location using Karak highway whereas Google uses the old road Bentong which is the wrong way you will never get there. Spacious parking space with one worker taking care of the parking. Wheelchair friendly accessible to restaurant. Big clean toilets located at entrance. While walking under the bridge we enjoyed the fresh air and the environment. There is small stream flowing along the restaurant and the water was clean. Superb hillside forest retreat, well thought out accommodation, rustic but design with modern comfort. This place was just what we needed it to be - private, cooling, peaceful. A very good place to have a retreat from your hustles because the villas are so far apart from each other. Panorama Hill is a lovely spot to hike to in the wee morning, for sunrise and sea of cloud. One can start early as 5+ for a sunrise hike, but we didn't as it was cloudy day with unlikely sunrise to be witnessed. However, the sea of cloud was really something, smoldering the whole town in a thick cloud and calmness. Parking by the roadside near the little rest area and toilet at the foot of the hill is available for free. After the hike, one could easily head down to the nearby marketplace for breakfast and coffee with the locals. A great place to see the magnificent sunrise and sea of clouds. Getting There - Near Dashijie subway station. Attractions - Plenty of exhibitions such as: Ceramics, ancient Chinese sculpture, painting calligraphy, ancient Silk Road coins, and many more! My personal favorite was the calligraphy exhibition. Food & Restaurants - There are places where you can buy drinks and snacks. I unfortunately didn’t have much time when I went but I saw plenty of other visitors with headsets. Not sure what the language options are but if you have enough time, I’d recommend getting a pair. I stayed for about 2 hours but I’d recommend over 3 hours if you don’t have a time constraint. The first time we visit the place was during night time, the place is well lit and easy to locate. I love the choice of light they use in the bistro, and the huge Christmas tree with red chair- that's a highlight. The following morning the whole family went there for lunch. We tried 4 different dishes (tuna panga, tuna belly, sisig, spaghetti) everything is worth the wait. We did enjoy! ..and yeah, I had burger on my first visit!
